LOVE Mia Хобби
loved that the "let's try it on" slides had backgrounds that matched the clothing you were trying :')
Yeah me tooo!!
samee
Omg yesss i noticed that too , it was so cute loved it 💕
Same lol I was about to comment that 😂
Yes!! Very aesthetic feeling 🤩
Really wish you'd paired the brown flare pants with the green cropped t-shirt and served Shaggy from Scooby Doo realness 😂
I thought the same thing!!
I thought the same too!
Same 💜
I’m so glad I’m not the only one... 😂
When she didn’t do that, I got so sad 😩 she missed the perfect opportunity to do it! I think that would be a super cute outfit.
Omg yes I was thinking that the whole time
Every time Mia sees a daisy:
“It looks like an egg” 🍳
I remember that T-shirt her dad got her and she was convinced there's an egg on it 😂
Also the blue flowers on the top at 15:16 - "Spongebob cloud-esque designs" 😂. Some people have colour-blindness, Mia has flower-blindness?
@@victoriab7148 lol
She’s not wrong though 😂
Ikr it’s a little annoying ngl but funny
In my experience, their quality difference is knits vs.wovens, actually, not tops vs. bottoms. Thats why the skirt was good quality, because it was made by their knitwear team / knitwear factories. I love their knitwear - amazing quality for the prices, but I bought a matching pant and top woven set from them, and the material was very thin, cheap polyester. Cute video. :)
cider literally has some of the more aesthetic looking things on their website, always wondered if it was legit
Me too!! Thank God for Mia :)
@@misshannahanastasia and it looks overpriced af. 34$ for a polyester crop top is way too much. And most of it was ill-fitting too.
I was curious too since I get constantly adds of the brand on Instagram
If you think a website that’s just drop shipping from China is legit then yeah it’s legit
they're lazyoaf rip offs
Can we appreciate the fact that she made those cute "let's try it on" tags for every item so they match? How adorable❤❤❤
yes ! i'v been loving her editting style from all her recent videos tooo
Mia really went “if I could completely cover up these shorts they would look good” 😭😭😭
She's too nice
Boy, my comment is a year too late, but maybe it will help someone. First, you really don’t know the quality until the item has been washed or dry cleaned. Second, a good hint that the quality isn’t so good is when stripes, plaids or checks aren’t matching at seams and pleats. I’ve been sewing since I could reach the machine foot pedal and it’s one of the first things I learned. Unfortunately, Cider fails the matching test.
this definitely helped me, thank you
Can you rec another affordable online shop?
No low cost fast fashion brand will have that type of quality (matching). For low cost clothes, wash always in cold and air dry. They are what they are.
You gotta shell out big bucks for matching patterns at the seams. From Walmart to Target to low-end department stores, you will not find it. So, like, please don’t act like that’s an indicator of whether a piece is going to last someone a couple of seasons/years. It’s not an indicator of quality but of affordability for the working class.
Mia has the best reviews, and she even risks her money to show us if it’s worth it
I mean you know she makes money off of doing these videos so she isn’t really risking her money she is investing in her business
*claims on tax* ✨✨✨
@@eyesofivy Lara Paghubasan is right
take it as investment, whether the clothes are worth the money or not she does get paid with these videos
quite literally the bare minimum
I love that you said “I wish I had tops like this in high school”. Meanwhile....that’s literally what people wore in the 90’s in high school ! So fun how everything comes back around
That's what I was thinking about the brown bell bottoms. I legit still have cords just like them from back in the day.
@@LauraSasss oh god the cords and flares!! Yup! Everything comes back even when you think it couldnt possibly. Now fair warning: we all need to be scared of the early 2000’s coming back. Skirts over pants, ultra low rise jeans, entirely too much midriff , SO MANY LAYERS..... just pray that never comes back. So much yuck
@@jennywhiskey9327 omg skirts over pants!!!!!!!
@@jennywhiskey9327 Omg yes. Overarching theme in the 2000s was HIGHLY UNCOMFORTABLE and your lower back/stomach always being cold. Never again 🥶
@@LunaVespertine SO MUCH BUTTCRACK 😂
Mia: Nothing can replicate me seeing a cute dog
*stickers fall out of bag*
Mia: Omg I love these!! These are soo adorable!!
You should recreate outfits from Jackie of " thats 70's show", would look sooo cute!
I love this idea!!!
Yes!!
Yesssss
Omg I hope she does this 😭😭
Omg that would be amazing... I also feel like Mia could really pull off a mod/60s style
"mucus green, with eggs"
So much cuter than that. LOL
When I saw the title I thought you had literally spent soooo much money on alcohol 😂😂😂
😂😂
Me too. But then the pictures told me it must me clothes 😂
Same!😂
Next video: tasting different alcohols. OR: brewing your own ;)
love how genuine Mia is, like i can see it from miles!!! love you and your videos.
i watch you when i’m anxious because your vibe is so inviting and comforting, it makes me feel like i’m at home
Awwww all the "let's try it on" are so adorable ❤️
can we appreciate mia's editing skills. like literally she did so much effort in these little edits. so aesthetic and pretty.
Mia’s style is like chic grandma and I’m living for it.
can we take a moment to appreciate how far mias reviews have come!!! way more to the vocabulary than just cute
Cider popped up on my feed a few months ago and after seeing a cherry sweater for a million times I gave in and it was the best decision I ever made, the stuff are so cuuute!
Can we appreciate that Mia is so kind and sweet and her content is so entertaining! 💜💜
Omg wtf tysm for nothing me I’m dying 😭💗💗
she rambles over nothing! use your brains to work on public service projects or making sure dems win in the midterm elections! wasted energy n $$$$
If you don’t like channels that are about style and entertainment then don’t watch them. There are plenty of political alarmist channels you could watch if that’s your thing. People watch Mia to relax and she does great work bringing joy to stressed people by focusing on more frivolous topics. Clothes are a universal experience and something that can unite people from all over the world and of every political stance. If you don’t like the unity and relaxation Mia’s channel creates, again, don’t watch.
@@canadeeana you seem bitter.
Ok. Every time you do one of these fashion videos, I get this nostalgic feeling of dressing up my barbies when I was a kid. It's the best! Thanks for another fun and informative video.
Mia’s video editing skills are just getting better and better I love how she’s been editing 🥰
Also keeping in mind that cider is a fast fashion brand so that’s why they’re cheaply made
And a good portion of their stuff is actually dropshipping products
Just commented this ♥️
Easy to image search on AliExpress if someone wants these items
Whats dropshipping?
@@Lorna007 the company orders in bulk off AliExpress for a much much much cheaper price, and then marks up the clothing significantly
Mia’s the only youtuber I wait for every week because her videos make me feel so positive and inspired 🤍
Mia, you should do a Stitchfix or similar style box with your Mom but you order one box for yourself and then you order a box for her describing her style from your perspective and have her do the same, one for her and one for you. Would love to see what they send and how they differentiate between your two probably similar descriptions/style profiles!
Yasss thats what i would love to see
OMG i’ve been seeing ads for this on insta and i’ve wanted to buy they’re stuff but never knew if i should or not! i’m so glad this just popped up on my recommended 💕💕💕
Can we all agree that mia is the best, I feel by watching her I've learned a lot about loving and accepting myself ☺️
You’re so pretty! Hope you are having a great day, can’t wait to watch this!🌸☁️😊
Mia, I don't know what (if anything) is going on with you atm, but you are absolutely shining! You look great, you seem more bubbly, outgoing, and chilled on camera, and your vibe just seems really good. So nice to see, 'cos you're such a sweetheart x
Love mia so much. Have always watched here and there and sometimes will just binge. But her personality is so down to earth and bff vibes for sure!
How in the world are you so perfect??!🤩😭 You can wear literally anything and still rock it!!❤️❤️🤗
Can we appreciate Mia's animated transitions?? They match the clothing pieces she was going to try !
I really missed videos of you reviewing brands and clothes! This is not my favorite style of clothing but still loved it! keep doing these types of videos, please!
I'm in love with the crack energy Mia has been bringing to her channel lately 🤪
I Would really appreciate if the videos talked about how to style each outfit with right accessories/bags/jackets 🤗
If I need to know the honest details on a clothing brand, I always go to this channel.
Love the commentary!
so thankful that you did this video!! I've been wanting to order from them but was waiting til you reviewed their clothing.Thanx for risking it and spending your money :)
YESSSSS I've been praying for you to review this brand, cuz I'm also from Canada and I'm nervous about customs and duty fees...so glad to know you didn't get hit with that cuz I want to order from this brand too!
I get so many of these adverts and the outfits always look so cute. I'm so glad Mia does these reviews for us so I can decide if it's going to be worth my money. Shopping on the internet is such a minefield!
omg this brand has been popping up on my ig!! so glad you’re reviewing it
Mia you’ve been so consistent with your content✨From all of us, thank you so much for making us smile during these strange times! You always make my day brighter 🌞💛
I love all the “let’s try it on” slides!! I love all the clothes!! So beautiful💙
omg i love all of the transitions matching with the clothing items! so much effort!!
omg i’m so glad you made this because i’ve been planning on ordering from there !!!!! 💗💗
Mia is always so humble but I gotta say she looking FIRE today.🔥🔥🔥 Also Mia, if u are reading this, I just wanted to say that you put so much work into your videos and we all really appreciate it. Never give up! ❤️❤️
Mia! you’re so adorable :) the transitions matching the clothes were such a nice touch!!
The second I saw an ad for this I thought of you!! Can’t believe you’re reviewing it!!!
Cider seems like another Forever 21, just pretending to be "sustainable"
yeah i was looking at their about section and it really only says they manufacture clothes based on how popular they are to avoid wasteful inventory... doesn't mention how the clothes are made or who makes them. 🤷🏼♀️
@@Mere_dithM yeah I agree!! They need more transparency
It’s not sustainable at all
That's why I don't buy fast fashion anymore and only thrift. It's more unique, sustainable, and affordable.
@Mandi W there’s still online thrift stores. I don’t even shop in physical thrift stores most of the time, I usually buy through depop. People say depop clothes are expensive but many sellers are very reasonable, give discounts for bundles and negotiating is an option most of the time. Remember clothes are a want not a necessity unless it’s something like a winter coat to protect you against the cold or clothes to last you at least a few days to a week. Besides that it’s all just for styling reasons or to give you more options. Save up your money for an opportunity where you can thrift if online isn’t an option either. If you truly care, you can commit to the cause. I personally can not go back to fast fashion after finding out the truth of how they’re made, it’s disgusting
🐛 You asked what types of things we would want to hear about in these reviews! - I would love if you could talk about any sustainability practices the company you are reviewing uses, or if they use any at all. I've gotten to a place where I'm just not comfortable purchasing fast fashion brands anymore. I'm trying to find more sustainable brands to support and also know which to avoid so it's always helpful to know when there's a lack of production sustainability info for a brand! 🌼
100% this ⬆️⬆️
Same 🤗
And it would maybe encourage other brands to change and consider to become more sustainable too! 🤗
This brand definitely isn’t sustainable
@@joelle4226 def! it would be nice if she said so in the vid!
Mia I am so grateful to you because you have gotten me to try out new styles and find more clothes that I love, you are a huge inspiration to me!
I loveeeee how much effort you.put into the slides! So cute when they all matched 😫
Could you also do a Teddy Fresh haul once? Maybe once they've stocked up again. I feel like you would really like some of their pieces.
hell yeah
The first ad on this video is the trailer of the FRIENDS reunion and idk why but that made me doubly happy.
Can we take a minute to appreciate the transitions?? They matched the vibe of each piece of clothing!! 🥰
Hi Mia! I'm Brazilian and I love your videos, I've been with you for a long time. I'm improving my English by watching your videos. Thank you so much!
A Cottagecore haul would be cute. Zulily has been having a lot of cute stuff lately. They even had a category just for Cottagecore.
i don’t know this brand but i love these kind of videos! excited to see what you picked❤️ (and if it’s worth it)
I appreciate the fact that you took the time to edit your transitions to match the colour and the vibe of the clothing item coming up next.
Hi Mia. I've been watching your videos for years and really love the how they have evolved. As others have said it would be really nice to hear your thoughts on the sustainability of these companies. One key thing that I would love is to know what the fabrics are. You are always so good and describing the feel and texture but it would be so helpful to know if the fabric is synthetic (polyester etc) or something like cotton and viscose. I try to avoid synthetic fabrics unless they are recycled so this information would be so helpful in your videos and would help raise awareness so that people can make their own informed decisions.
Keep being wonderful - your videos bring me so much joy xxx
Mia literally puts her everything into her videos! Love her passion for this and her videos with her mom are hilarious 😂 ! Love them and Love her and her family
Am really appreciating the effort you’ve put into your graphics! That must’ve been a lot of work and want you to know you can really feel the hard work you’ve put into them
I had such a bad day at work today but seeing this video made me smile so much, i'm so happy for you!
Omg, been seeing this brand everywhere and was waiting for you to try it, it is SO your style!!
Your transitions are super cute in this video! I definitely caught on to the transitions matching the clothing pieces! Great brand review and I love your attention to detail 😊
you should do a portion of these videos about how easy it is to return items with them. sometimes they say they have an easy return policy but actually executing it is made difficult or impossible. says a lot about a brand and you can't. know until its too late a lot of the time!
love your videos! so helpful! always come here before trying out a brand myself!
I love the graphics you used and how they matched each piece you were trying on. Great touch.
OMG I keep getting ads for this! I'm so happy you did this bc their clothes are SOOOO cute!!!
hey mia! would love to see some more sustainable companies featured on your channel. cider says they’re “sustainable” but they outsource production to china and a lot of their pieces can be found on aliexpress and other really bad fast fashion sites. they also steal designs from small brands! it’s such a hard thing to navigate but i know you care about sustainability and it would be great to see reviews of genuinely sustainable brands so we can see what products are worth investing money into! 💗💗💗
They don’t outsource to China. They’re a Chinese company, iirc specifically based in Hong Kong. Some of their pieces are dupes of luxury brands, many of which are Asian but that’s normal in the industry. Unless you are at Macy’s or the high end brand itself, you will find dupes or pieces inspired by what’s on the runway or trending amongst elites. That’s how fashion has worked since even before ready-to-wear became mainstream. AliExpress is making those same knock-offs of high-end Asian brand products or trendy TaoBao clothes and SheIn is now knocking off original Cider designs. From what I have seen and researched, out of all the international China-based shopping sites that I’ve frequented since the 00s up to now, Cider has the most unique designs and is most trustworthy (aside from specific brands on Yesstyle). I do not put it past them to have stolen designs from small brands, so I can’t and won’t defend that. But for people who make less than $20KUSD a year, Cider is a great balance of affordability and ethics if you want to buy new online and not sacrifice self expression and style or quality. Plus it’s more sustainable to buy a Cider dress that lasts 2+ years than a Shein or AliExpress dress that only lasts a single season. Of course, buying secondhand through apps/sites like Vinted, Poshmark, Mercari, Cutsy, etc. is ideal.
I really love your videos! The only extra thing interesting to know would be, what kind of material the clothes actually are and maybe how difficult or easy they are to clean.
You live in my mind rent free Mia🥰 I watch your videos on repeat and watch the ads just for you❤️
I loved that the transitions to try on the clothes matched what you were trying on😭
"Should I tie dye this? Or is that a terrible idea."
Ohh we know you will, Mia 😂😂
As soon as this popped up on my notifications, I clicked LOL 💜💜💜
As a 90’s baby, I 100% appreciate your “that 70’s show” style 🤟🏽🥰 you are so unique!
Yeah she's awesome and unique 😁
I'm OBSESSED with the amount of effort she puts into the transition clips between each piece. I was shocked when I realized. WOW
😍 .
Mia should design her own clothing line. I had a shirt like the smile one in high school back in the 90’s.
I've ordered from cider twice and it has been a nightmare both times. Sizing is CURSED. Nothing is what size it claims even using their size charts, they don't match (I was ordering their larger sizes cause I have a big bust). Also their quality is terrible. You get 5 wears before things start to pull at the threads and wear.
Cute stuff but unethically sourced as well. So envious yours was so much more successful! Go you x
Have you ordered from shein before? Which would you say is better?
@@megancooper1394 I haven't sorry
@@megancooper1394 never ordered from cider but i did order from a shein a while ago (first and last time i ever bought shit from them lol) they sent my mf package to the WRONG ADDRESS LMAO spoke with their customer service who was super nice about it, asked if i wanted a refund or reshipment. one of the pieces i wanted was out of stock though, so got refunded for that
@@megancooper1394 have never ordered from cider, but i used to buy A LOT from shein
Actually i gotta say that the majority of things had pretty okay quality, some fabrics were a little weird but some items had reeeally good quality surprisingly. Its important to go by their size measurement table tho
I hope ur not gonna order from there but if u do it anyways - maybe bc u dont have a lot of money - then heres at least my input :)
Finally a worthy comment. Thank you for that. Most of the other comments are about how much we should "appreciate the little tags she made and her spending money for us".
Okay, that peach tank with the sunflowers would look SO CUTE over a white, untucked button up shirt (or shirt dress!).
I'm extremely happy you went back to this style segments these are the best
A while ago I was on the verge of ordering clothes from their website because they are too cute, they claim to be sustainable and the price point is very much okay
But then I saw a video of a girl who did some research and apparently there’s some pretty shady shit going on with cider, so I ended up not ordering from them
Does anyone know what’s the deal with the brand?
It's clothes from China = never sustainable. These "cool" brands never show any people behind them, that's usually the clue.
They just bulk buy from places like AliExpress. It’s the same thing all of these “trendy” brands that pop up out of nowhere do (like SHEIN, romwe, etc.) I wouldn’t buy from here. The clothes are trash and super unsustainable.
They're dropshipping and scaming you by looking like a real shop
@@hanne9peeters cider is exactly the same as romwe and shein but also overpriced
Do you remember who made the video? I'd love to watch it
Mia!! Can we just appreciate how much Mia gives/does to just give people an honest review so people don’t waste their money! Love you Mia
Please, I'd love to see a video on specific brands to do aesthetic outfits, like a brand that does cottage, or academia, then you get outfits from them and try them on. I remember the last cottage outfit was super cute!
you should do this video again now because i feel like their quality has gotten really good!
The flowers on the first shirt reminded me of the "egg" on the shirt your dad picked out a few videos ago!
Been wondering about this brand for ages! Thank you. Also I wonder if Mia will ever learn to look at the sizing and buy the right size ever? 😂

Can we just take a second to appreciate Mia's gorgeous hair!
omg yes, not watched the vid yet, but I'm so excited you're doing this!!!! I've been wanting to buy their clothes on insta for ages but was too scared ahah
Here comes Mia posting once again while I'm in the middle of a Kdrama... and once again here I am choosing her 🙊
I think Mia should do a photoshoot where she tries to recreate the photos of the models in the clothes that she buys. I could see that going really well... or really poorly. Either way, it would be fun to watch!
That last look is straight outta the 70s with your hair! Love it 😍
That last orange shirt is my favorite item from this video! It’s super adorable!
