Mia is one of the few youtubers who I haven't got tired of since I've started watching her videos. Her content has evolved, but I'd probably watch any video from her, it feels like catching up with a friend. :)

Reasons I love Mia's channel: 1. She's the only content creator I've never gotten sick of or annoyed with 2. Her content is relatable for all ages 3. There is nothing fake going on here. Just a simple girl giving us all great content 4. The editing 👌 5. She's Canadian lol
And also she doesn't talk about politics or try to alienate a portion of her base, if you only watched Mia's channel you probably would have no idea about the civil unrest in the US or covid and I appreciate that.
I do that all the time that it became a habit because everytime i would sneeze no one would bless me so i had to bless myself but because i say bless me people say bless u you to me so i guess it works
Does anyone else think that Mia’s natural skin tone looks so beautiful? I love how she has not been tanning lately (though the tan looked great too) I just think it suits her so nicely. As a fellow extremely pale person it is kind of nice to see someone embracing their paleness, as being tan is the ideal for this day and age P.S. I love your nail color btw
Hydrocolloid patches are super common and affordable (guessing the stars aren’t anything special beyond the shape and packaging). They’re really only useful for a just popped pimple and/or to avoid touching a spot. They work similarly to clear bandaids 🩹 for blisters, in that they just absorb the moisture (junk) that comes out of the pores (but they can’t absorb through the skin, so if it hasn’t popped yet, it doesn’t do a whole lot). Hope that helps!

don't waste your money on them, just get the compeed cold sore patches from your local pharmacy, they're just standard hydrocolloid patches, theyre relatively cheap and will do the same job as the star ones.
My grandpa is a doctor and he always told me a thin layer will do just as much as a thick layer. So save yourself the extra product when things say thick layer, it's usually just to get you to use more and buy more product.

Couldn't agree more with Mia on the glow recipe. I own it for 3 weeks now (toner, moisturizer and sleeping mask) and my skin is improving a lot. It had al lot of pimples and red spots and they are slowly going away. Today my dad even said that my skin looked so much better and if my dad sees it than it was worth the money.

The thing about the star patches is they are way expensive. From Walmart there's a brand that sells 36 patches for less than $3us. And they do work. They're not cute, but I just sleep in them. They're called HanHoo blemish patches and are made of the same thing.
A recommendation for cleansing your face after the mask (and makeup in general) - do a double cleanse! Oil cleanse first to get rid of makeup, sunscreen, excess faceoils, then a waterbased cleanse to get rid of the any remaining makeup leftovers as well as the rests of the oil cleanse! :)
Friendly reminder that if you’re going to the beach and need sunscreen (which you should), make sure it’s eco friendly and coral safe! Sunscreen can be harmful to marine life when you jump into the water. My favorite is Soleil Toujours Organic Sheer Sunscreen Mist - it’s a spray too! ☀️🌊

i LOVE using hydrocolloid patches but the starface ones did absolutely nothing for my acne and were more expensive than the mighty patch/cosrx/peach slices ones you can get at Target or CVS (or any drug store at this point) which was soooo disappointing because i do love the little case they come in.
If you want a cheaper alternative, the "Acne Pimple Master Patch" from COSRX is $15 for 4 packs of 24 (so 96 total patches in assorted sizes). They're clear, so don't have the same cutesy charm as the star patches, but they work just as well!

That hair brush is basically just a wide tooth comb...that's the reason it didn't snag or ruin your curls compared to a brush. I can't imagine the moving parts made a difference. Just get a 2$ comb lol
The fact that it is electric means it vibrates at whatever decible level and when combed through hair, it vibrates the teeth through tangles, breaking them apart.
@@lykri3350 I think the vibration is not contributing enough to the point where it's worth buying it over just a regular wide tooth comb. If she had compared it to a standard wide tooth comb instead of a full on brush, I think we would've seen less of a difference.

Mia, the Glow Recipe products are very nice. They are a company that uses various fruits in their skin care. They are inspired by Korean skin care, and their products are very mild. I use the entire line, and love them. They all have mild and fresh smells, and have gel like formulas. If you liked the Sleep mask, they have a normal moisturizer that has the same smell, but a thinner formula. I really recommend it if you liked the night mask. If your skin is not irritated by fragrance, it is a great line of skin care line.
I love having natural freckles. 😌 Used to get teased as a kid but I am so happy they are in style right now because I have honestly always loved them!!! I never got why people thought they were ugly!

That hair brush is basically just a wide tooth comb...that's the reason it didn't snag or ruin your curls compared to a brush. I can't imagine the moving parts made a difference. Just get a 2$ comb lol
The fact that it is electric means it vibrates at whatever decible level and when combed through hair, it vibrates the teeth through tangles, breaking them apart.

Mia, the Glow Recipe products are very nice. They are a company that uses various fruits in their skin care. They are inspired by Korean skin care, and their products are very mild. I use the entire line, and love them. They all have mild and fresh smells, and have gel like formulas. If you liked the Sleep mask, they have a normal moisturizer that has the same smell, but a thinner formula. I really recommend it if you liked the night mask. If your skin is not irritated by fragrance, it is a great line of skin care line.
