For the white liner you might prefer using a light nude, it gives a similar effect but is less harsh since the white of the eyes isn't really a bright solid white. 💜
I like the effect of a nude liner in the water line even more than dark liner on my lid. It makes me look so much more awake!

SERIOUSLY the little wing she does with her eyeliner I LOVE and I’m always looking forward to see how she does it on her makeup videos but she always does it off camera and I’m like 😭😭😭

@@trini1259 I would also say the wing is something that just takes practice. It depends so much on the shape of your eye it’s different to do it in everyone. Practice doing it 5x a day or something and in a couple weeks you’ll be a pro

KVD currently stands for Kara, Veritas, and Decora or value, truth, and beauty. It used to be called KVD Vegan Beauty and Kat Von D Beauty before that.

When mia says she called the super goop by the wrong name a bunch the last time and then this time calls it a foundation instead of a sunscreen. This would 100% be me. This gives me work zoom meetings anxiety for saying the wrong thing repeatedly

Not just that the lipstick is the same type of emollient face is that makeup. So naturally they would mix together. A liquid foundation wouldn't mix so much. I truly feel using a liquid foundation would have been much better of an application. We all live and learn. Don't do what she did. It gives me the giggles.. (ꏿ﹏ꏿ;)

The red lipstick you used is a blue-toned red, so once that was blended out and diluted with the white foundation it became purple, no witchcraft lol
Actually the foundation is cool toned so it has blue green under tones which made it purple
I was kind of hoping she would use the other colour for that reason. But also that looks like a great shade for the lips
And she used the same brush from the lipstick to blend the lipstick

yup! She needed to use a neutral red or a yellow undertoned red (like a brick red)
beauty blender with a more wet foundation seems like a key factor in the blush hack

Omg mia, i think you should do a make up look following robert welsh. He's a pro make up artist. He's really good and his techniques are different from what we've learned from youtube gurus and when I tried doing it, it really does made a lot of difference.

Big yes on Robert!! The Welsh Twins are awesome. I've never done the RUclips makeup because I considered it too unnatural (one time a younger friend did my make-up according to the style of her fave RUclipsr and I looked ridiculous and 20yrs older 😫) Have always either done my own thing - but when I started make-up you couldn't even buy brushes 😉 - or later followed Lisa Eldridge and Wayne Goss. Robert definitely fits in with those two quality wise. He's a pro MUA who knows all the theory and techniques. But he's probably more accessible for a younger crowd. His brother James has a great skincare channel. Their Twin channel is my personal free antidepressant 😄🤣.
I’m obsessing over the eye hack. It worked incredibly well. Your eyes look beautiful. You’re naturally very pretty and this just amped the eyes up. Overall I was super surprised because as you were doing it I didn’t like anything and the. The finished look came together beautifully. You really looked so good when it was all finished. I’m going to be trying all of these on myself now. Great video.
I feel you on the red face embarrassment. I was always self conscious of my rosy cheeks until college when I lived in Spain and a man reminded me how woman spend lots of time painting their faces to get that rosy glow and I should embrace it. It really put it into perspective for once.

The viral red blush hack has already been a thing for the past few years in Southeast-Asian countries. I think it originated in Japan called "The Drunk blush" look where you put the blush underneath your eyes blending to your cheeks. In the Philippines however, it evolved to what the trend looks like now with the difference of using liptints, multi-purpose cream tints, cream blushes, etc. instead of an actual bright red lipstick. Sorry for the long post but just wanted to share ❤️

Tip for the lipstick under foundation thing, wet your brush with setting spray helps blend it easier 💕

When I was in high school we only used black eye liner but I’m 34yrs old….so I’m old! I use white now bc it opens your eyes 👀 (I tried black not that long ago and I felt old…older than normal) but im chez….so I have like cat eyes

Interesting how these trends come around. I remember the lipstick trick is a lot like the using cream blush under everything that we were doing like 20 years ago. I also remember doing my eyes like that 12 years ago....um well still do them like that because I can't be bothered with trends. Thanks for giving these a go and entertaining us.

I think the eyes would have been even more dramatic if Mia tilted the eyeliner a bit down, like the puppy dog look. But it totally did make a difference!!

There's essentially two different bases for red lipsticks, orange reds and blue reds. The shade you used was definitely a blue red which is probably where the purple came from
