TIP: i actually use these nails because painting my nails never lasts. i’ve been using these nails for months. i add an additional drop of nail glue and then press them on as hard as possible. they usually last average 2 weeks i just might have to redo one or two nails :)
okay nail glue must be the way, I tried them and the back edge was slightly lifted and my hair strands were constantly getting caught in the nails so I immediately took them off 🙄
Yes! I literally just did my nails the other day. I have lots of the Kiss Brand press ons and I use the extra strength nail glue to make em last longer. Firstly, I prep my nails. Like wash my hands, clip my fingernails/hangnails, file, etc. Secondly, I make sure that i have the correct sized nail for my nails and finally put them on! They look almost like a pro did them, if I do say so myself...lmao🤣💕
@@madisonwarren2870 that's what I've been doing all the way through lockdown....it works really well for me and I've been getting my nails done for over 20yrs.
When my hair air drys it comes out gross and curly in a bad way so it ain’t cute, when I use a blow dryer it does work but I have to use a round brush or I blow dried it just so the bad curls could come back faster, I bought the revelon brush about a month ago, it is super quick and easy and doesn’t give me the gross curls, it gives me the straight hair I go for. It was also really hard for me to hold to dryer and brush at the same time so that helped. Also it is so much quick with the revelon brush, I have thin hair and it gets greasy so I wash it daily, other people may have had diffrent experiences with it though, this is mostly just my opinion! 💗
Mia and I quote, "I remember just being so mad in my dream cuz I was like had no choice but for some reason I had went to this nail salon that didn't give you any choice on like what to do to your hair"
I love The ordinary. Its a bit intense and my first time felt a bit scary too (i think it was partly because they hyped about the 10 minutes time so i was scared to begin with), but these days i dont use anything else to exfoliate. Im from Finland, my skin kinda sensitive too, pale and sensitive to the sun. But this product is the best exfoliator i know. Atleast for my skin. Give it another go!:)
My skin is the same, though i only use this exfoliator maybe once a month. every other day i use their lactic acid which is a much gentler one for daily use. But it is a great product, just not after annother exfoliating mask haha
@@TinkGen131 Yeah you're best to wash your face, dry it and walk away for a few minutes to make sure it is completely dry. You're absolutely right the way you use it.
Miss B I usually wait until they start to get loose and then they come off lol, if you wanna take it off and it’s still pretty hard on the nail then I probably would do it doesn’t hurt or damage your nail
since I play lacrosse and do competition gymnastics I need something sturdy that will last DIP powder is the answerrrrrr! Lasts me around 4 weeks! Where I go it's $60 with tips! Worth the money! 🌸🤍🍑🧸🥺
I know you get this all the time and that I’m not the only one but I’m so thankful there are people out there like you, Mia, that are WHOLESOME and also entertaining. You’re such a nice little ray of sunshine in my day.
the ordinary product burns everyone, its a chemical peel. you're also NOT supposed to physically exfoliate beforehand, and then afterwards you MOISTURIZE and put on sunscreen. also, the press on nails last a lot longer if you put a dot of nail glue on them. mine stayed on almost two weeks
I think you need to brush your hair up and forward from the root with the dryer thing. Just like you would with a blow dry trying to achieve volume. Brushing straight from the root down wont get you that affect. Try it again 😁 i dont have one though but ive mastered the blow dry lol
And actually curling it around the brush a bit at the tips (instead of using it like a brush) and only in one direction. There won't be a curl if she's using it in different directions like she did with the first strand of hair.
As a black women who frequently watches Mia’s videos, I just want to say I appreciate Mia for using foundation that actually MATCHES her skin tone rather than a dark foundation that’s no where near her color like other youtubers. The obsession some people have with looking darker really creeps me out sometimes so props to you Mia ❤️❤️❤️I stan even more
The revlon brush has saved me from my super frizzy hair! It creates a decent amount of volume (if you dry from the roots) and helps me to smooth and straighten my hair
I loooove the Revlon One Step! I use mine to get volume at my roots. Maybe practice more with it! It’s so good I got one for my mom, grandma, and 14 yr old sister.
I’ve been using impress nails for a few years. How long they stay on truly depends on how well you prep your natural nail. On average mine last 12 to 15 days. Also. You definitely need to keep your hands dry for at least an hour afterward. I think you would have benefited from reading the instructions LOL
Yes! I usually can get them to stay on for about 2 weeks! Which I’m completely okay with, I’m also pretty hard on my nails. If I happen to loss one right off I just use nail glue to glue it back on. 😂 ive been using them for about a year now! Loveeeeee.
She's "so excited to smell it" Referring to the clensing bar she pulled out about 6.5 min. in..... I swear I just love me some Mia. Shes just always so upbeat and seems to always look for/try to find the briteside to whatever shes doing; and she genuinely gets happy over such simple things. She really is one of the most genuine and wholesome ppl I've ever encountered. And clearly from the other videos shes made, i can totally see she gets it from her mom... They both seem like they'd be such a joy to spend time with and to have a personal relationship with in real life. Without a doubt the world would be such a better place if more ppl were like them!! They both most deff have a sub for life with me. I 100% cant get enuf of either Mia or her momma.
I used Kiss impress nails last October for my wedding and they were amazing. They lasted for like an entire week before they started to fall off. I used the Kiss brush on nail glue with them.
Stine Mary Boye Kristiansen they do leave ur nails a little dry, But no where near as bad as real acrylics. Just throw some lotion on your cuticles & nails and you’ll be fine !
I swear by the Impress nails! I received them years ago in a PR Box and decided to attach them using a drop of their kiss nail glue........LOVED THEM. They stayed put threw all kinds of torture but I could get them off if I needed to without ripping my real nail off.....and they come in EVERY design, length, and color possible. Especially NOW when people can't really go an get their nails done.....these are awesome.... But I recommend using the kiss nail glue instead of the sticky things the nails come with.....way stronger that way :)
I immediately thought of Hyrum cringing at the physical and chemical exfoliating 😣 And then him freaking out at literally no moisturizer or sunscreen application after! Never do a double exfoliation ESPECIALLY on sensitive skin 😫
Glad I'm not the only one that takes a million years to do my nails! I always do them myself and take a long time taking the last set off, prepping, and designing making sure they last long! I LOVE the Impress nails too. They are amaazinggggg. The Halloween ones are my absolute favorite I always stock up! Love this video!!
Hi Mia! I use these nails sometimes and here's a few tips to help them last: - make sure your nails are dry for as long as possible before and after you apply them (you can wash your hands and everything, but just not soak in the tub or shower) - gently file your nails before applying them - apply glue to both your nail and the press on nail Brittany Vasseur on youtube has a bunch of press on nail videos too which have lots of tips!
For the Ordinary face exfoliator it’ll burn if u have any cuts/open wounds or have recently shaved your face. If it burns right away and continues to burn, yes you should take it off right away. I have the product and it does work well for me despite my sensitive skin but if you go in direct sunlight I suggest putting on sunscreen so your face won’t burn. The product removes dead skin and pushes knew skin to the surface preventing blackheads, blemishes, acne scars, acne, etc. I hope this helps :)
Another cool shopping app to try out is Ebloggers that sell a range of cheap and expensive items that I was thinking about ordering from however I thought it would be great to get some reviews and thoughts of what u think too! X
If you want a great makeup sponge you should try Juno & Co. I am obsessed with their sponges. They’re velvet, so soft, and blend magnificently. The blue ones are a little harder than all the other colors in my opinion, but it doesn’t take away from the performance.
@@aimeetrudgian4980 not as much as it did for her, it's only suppose to penetrate the 1st layer of skin, not the 2nd-3rd and she used it right after a exfoliator that's why it hurt more because the skin was already gone
Mia you're not supposed to used two exfoliators together that is like a punishment 🤣🤣 for you're face also you absolutely have to moisturize you're face after you exfoliate
I would give the "The Ordinary" product another try, add a small drop to a cleanser or oil and let it sit for 3-5 minutes, this way your skin will still get the benefit of the acid but will also be easier on the skin. I know with other acids by them they suggest doing this so your skin becomes used to the acid. Also never use it after exfoliating!!! the acid is already there to remove the dead skin so using it after exfoliating is basically removing the dead skin but also trying to remove the new fresh skin underneath too.
Acid is an exfoliate, a chemical one instead of physical. If you have sensitive skin Alpha Hydroxy alone is enough without Beta Hydroxy. Look for products with AHA only without BHA.
I think she should try a different exfoliating product because the ordinary one is too strong and it is not for some people with really sensitive skin. also BHA and AHA do different things, BHA is oil-soluble and therefore goes ways deeper and it more suitable for ppl with acne and oily skin while AHA is water-soluble and peels the surface of skin. diluting it could make it ineffective as it would change its pH
Hi, coming in months after your comment to ask what kind of "oil" you mean? I have skin like Mia's and I often have the same burning, painful issues when I attempt to use a serum like this.
I have that hairdryer brush and I really like it actually - it’s the only hair tool Ive ever used where Ive managed to get that volumised ‘blow out’ result that looks really nice and put together. Ive never had any luck with that 2-handed technique where you use a round brush and hair dryer, I never managed to get the hang of that for some reason. The dryer brush works well for me though, I brush my hair all different directions with it and make sure to do the top layers of hair by rolling it towards the scalp to build volume. My hair is a fair bit shorter than yours though so perhaps that helps 🤷♀️ loved the video :)
The KISS Impress nails are amazing! I use them all the time. They typically last 1 to 2 weeks for me. You have to wait 45 min to an hour before getting them wet. It says so in the instructions :)
Just FYI my skin burns like a mother when I use that ordinary product! It's a chemical peel so it's normal for it to burn but the results after are fire no pun intended 🤪
I love kiss nails! When I do them I roughen my nails of first to make them last longer. It also says to wait an hour or 2 before getting them wet and continue pressing them for about a half hour after application. All of this will help them last longer. When I wash dishes at McDonald’s I can get mine to last about a week.
I had the curiosity of going to Mia's oldest video and I could not believe her 1st video on her channel was 7 YEARS AGO! WHERE HAVE I BEEN?! UNDER A ROCK?! She is amazing 💕
Ahhh as soon as I saw you pull out The Ordinary I was like 'no Mia!!' ai love the ordinary but its full of acids and I know how sensitive your skin is! Xx
Mia, I love the stick on nails and use them all the time. They stay on for weeks!!!! The only bad thing is that’s when you take a shower and you run your fingers through your hair the hair gets stuck in them if you don’t stick them on enough 😕
Mia i think you should give the revlon dryer another try! If you place it under the hair at the root and twist it to the outside while brushing it out you get the waves! The way u used it was just straight ending it!
I have done my own acrylics before as well and I’m so over it they come out so nice but also I’m kind of only 90% sure of exactly how to do it… and it’s a lot of filing and it’s just NOT relaxing at all it’s WORK!! Also Mia I’m sorry if I comment too much on your videos I hope you appreciate me jogging the algorithm (not like you need it!) -- but seriously I can’t thank you enough I have been going through so much stress for so long and your videos are such a nice bright way for me to relax and enjoy a cute video without going deep in thought and it’s literally just SO appreciated 🙏🏽 THANK YOU

TIP: i actually use these nails because painting my nails never lasts. i’ve been using these nails for months. i add an additional drop of nail glue and then press them on as hard as possible. they usually last average 2 weeks i just might have to redo one or two nails :)
Buffing the natural nail a little and the stick on’s help too!
How do you get these off after a few of them got loose?
okay nail glue must be the way, I tried them and the back edge was slightly lifted and my hair strands were constantly getting caught in the nails so I immediately took them off 🙄
Watching this in Dec 2023 and hearing you explain TikTok and Musicaly is crazy haha time flies
Mia and I quote, "I remember just being so mad in my dream cuz I was like had no choice but for some reason I had went to this nail salon that didn't give you any choice on like what to do to your hair"
okay so I was not the only one who notice the nail salon thing lol
I have to make sure my skin is dry dry DRY before I use this to make sure it does not burn. The lactic acid is one I can use more often as well
@@TinkGen131 Yeah you're best to wash your face, dry it and walk away for a few minutes to make sure it is completely dry. You're absolutely right the way you use it.
OoOoOoOo Finland I love it there I plan to move there in the future!
I always add a little glue to the nails even if they’re the stick ones, they stay longer
Would you have to soak them off if you did that?
Miss B I usually wait until they start to get loose and then they come off lol, if you wanna take it off and it’s still pretty hard on the nail then I probably would do it doesn’t hurt or damage your nail
@@erinstraub7773 how long about do they last
since I play lacrosse and do competition gymnastics I need something sturdy that will last DIP powder is the answerrrrrr!
You’re such a nice little ray of sunshine in my day.
i literally got so excited when she said she’s working on another renovation video
the ordinary product burns everyone, its a chemical peel. you're also NOT supposed to physically exfoliate beforehand, and then afterwards you MOISTURIZE and put on sunscreen. also, the press on nails last a lot longer if you put a dot of nail glue on them. mine stayed on almost two weeks
What kind of nail glue did you use? (:
@@XOLorena you can use super glue its the same thing
@@sydelli I don't know where you heard this...or if you were told this...but it's not good advice. Super glue and nail glue are not the same.
Thankyou for the nail tip
Tip for the elf primer: I didn’t love it at first, until I started applying it with a beauty blender and it worked so well!!
I think you need to brush your hair up and forward from the root with the dryer thing. Just like you would with a blow dry trying to achieve volume. Brushing straight from the root down wont get you that affect. Try it again 😁 i dont have one though but ive mastered the blow dry lol
Yeah that was totally user error! Oh Mia!!
And actually curling it around the brush a bit at the tips (instead of using it like a brush) and only in one direction. There won't be a curl if she's using it in different directions like she did with the first strand of hair.
Yes you GOTTA get that volume up top 😍 Also, I own this tool, love it, and when I get to the ends I curl around and leave it there so the curls "set"
Yeah, it looked like in the video she brushed from underneath the hair, not on top.

12-15 days!?!? That’s crazy!!!
Mine lasted 14 days exactly when I tried them 😄😊
How!? Mine last a few days no more than five.
Yes! I usually can get them to stay on for about 2 weeks! Which I’m completely okay with, I’m also pretty hard on my nails. If I happen to loss one right off I just use nail glue to glue it back on. 😂 ive been using them for about a year now! Loveeeeee.

I used Kiss impress nails last October for my wedding and they were amazing. They lasted for like an entire week before they started to fall off. I used the Kiss brush on nail glue with them.
How does they leave the nails? Do they ruin the nails? :)
Stine Mary Boye Kristiansen they do leave ur nails a little dry, But no where near as bad as real acrylics. Just throw some lotion on your cuticles & nails and you’ll be fine !

I.... I don’t even wear makeup and I thought people just cleaned them and used them for however long they last.... atleast I learned this now I guess
I love how Mia calls all the skincare products "skincares"
I swear by the Impress nails! I received them years ago in a PR Box and decided to attach them using a drop of their kiss nail glue........LOVED THEM. They stayed put threw all kinds of torture but I could get them off if I needed to without ripping my real nail off.....and they come in EVERY design, length, and color possible. Especially NOW when people can't really go an get their nails done.....these are awesome.... But I recommend using the kiss nail glue instead of the sticky things the nails come with.....way stronger that way :)

Lol I could imagine him cringing at the way she used the dropper and also the fact she used it after that exfoliating balm thing ha.
I immediately thought of Hyrum cringing at the physical and chemical exfoliating 😣 And then him freaking out at literally no moisturizer or sunscreen application after! Never do a double exfoliation ESPECIALLY on sensitive skin 😫

Hi Mia! I use these nails sometimes and here's a few tips to help them last:
- make sure your nails are dry for as long as possible before and after you apply them (you can wash your hands and everything, but just not soak in the tub or shower)
- gently file your nails before applying them
- apply glue to both your nail and the press on nail
Brittany Vasseur on youtube has a bunch of press on nail videos too which have lots of tips!
E.l.f has a tinted lip oil. I tried it and will never wear lip gloss again in my life 🤣
NYX has good lil oils too! Lots of pretty colors to choose from 👍🏼💕☺️
Eek i really want to try that ! 💕
I'd LOVE to see a VERY extra LOLITA WISH haul.. dresses, parasol, bloomers, petticoats, stockings, wigs, lolita shoes etc... PLEASE!!!!

The revlon blow out took is actually kind of amazing. It takes practice to get it down
We've always had to go to the salon to get hair done because no dryer was good enough. But this was definitely a life saver

@@aimeetrudgian4980 yep but it burns more for her
Mia you're not supposed to used two exfoliators together that is like a punishment 🤣🤣 for you're face also you absolutely have to moisturize you're face after you exfoliate
Right?? I was like DILUTE IT A LITTLE IF ITS YOUR FIRST TIME NOOOOO. Also Mia using it right after an exfoliant gave me stress
When she said her skin was burning from the ordinary skincare, I was just screaming TAKE IT OFF TAKE IT OFF
Same my anxiety was kicking. I was so worried
