Na Mia the first dress was a SCAM nothing like the picture.
They also overcharged, they took photos from the original website and put it on their Etsy pretending to be the company and overcharge, she payed over £300 and it’s £180 on original website

I’m gonna be honest, I really didn’t like the first piece. But it was because I didn’t really think it looked like the picture at all. In my opinion, it looked a lot cheaper and it was definitely a lot shorter. I’m gonna give it the benefit of the doubt since Mia’s kind of tall and it had just come out of the bag but idk

Yeah the fabric was similar but it DEFINITELY was not th same it was cheaper and it had way less fabric than the one in the picture. She kinda got ripped off. My sister studied Fashion design and she was upset and said that's not a hard dress to make being a wrap dress

Mia you definitely got scammed with that first dress. Even if the seller was legit, they must have realized the dress didn’t look as good as advertised and changed the listing/price. She models the dress you bought, but you can’t find it anywhere on her website. And the item that resembles what you bought is cheaper than the other products of the same style.

It was not a dress. It looked like a wrapper/fancy housecoat to go over a night gown made from Grandma's recycled curtains.

Latex is really something special - it's a material that has almost a life of its own. I started making latex clothing some time ago and I must say, when you closely get to know it (it's actually a 100% natural rubber), you really get a feeling of its wide possibilities of use. But you really have to 'feel' it. It's maybe not for everyone, but one can get used to it. And no, don't believe it's only for s*xual / fetish/ erotic etc stuff - far from it.
I'm happy to see a youtuber as you to present a piece of it, and I hope we'll see more in the future!
(PS:The 'fake' latex materials are probably everything from lycra, PVC, EVA, PU and other synthetic materials. Latex is unique, and it's purely natural material).

I'm kind of confused about the first dress.. it doesn't look like the picture to me. They don't seem to have an account on etsy anymore but from their website it looks more like the 'Queen Daisy Lime Transparent Ruffled Maxi Dress' which is significantly cheaper than the one you bought. Can you look into it more?
i think it is that one - but yeah the picture it looks more flouncy bouncy and poofy but the real thing the ruffles seem shorter
It wasn’t steam either, it look wrinkled from the package. Maybe the ruffles would have look nicer after a little steaming :)

@@zoet9882 I showed it to my sister who just graduated from fashion design and she said it's not even built the same way as the one in the picture and the fabric is WAYYYY cheaper. She said that the one in the pic is a wrap dress that should have a loop in one of the seams to pass the ribbon through and get the side split leg effect. It was built like a flimsy bathrobe with less ruffles

Mia, you are amazing. I love your channel so much. You've helped me through the dumpster fire that is COVID, which really means the world to me. I really enjoyed this video in particular though-- I love that you still did an extra clothing haul, but from Etsy instead. These hauls are always really entertaining, but I love when you do hauls from Etsy or higher-end designers because that means that if you don't wear it, it's something that someone will actually be able to use if you donate it, rather than just being a sloppily put together bunch of fabric that will most likely end up in a landfill. Stay amazing, Mia!

I think that Reflectic set is made of reflective fabric. A handy material, for example sewn as thin strips/trims for outdoor wear/sweatsuits or just a traditional hoodie. And usually these reflective decorative tapes are near the seams or in the seams, because that's usually the best place to put them. We (in Finland) also have decorations made of reflective material hanging from the end of the string, reflectors. And they have themes all over the place, so there's something for everyone. Plus they're safe because they make you visible in the dark but don't blind the driver. And so these are perfect for areas with dark time of the year. Witch means that it's still dark in the morning and it's get dark again early in the afternoon.
