I work for a bridal dress company that offers black wedding dresses and that last dress looking that good for literally a fourth of the cost of our gowns is actually insane.
It would be so cool if you did a photoshoot with each dress that you’ve bought before. Hair, makeup, props. All of it. Just to see how fun it would be to style each dress!
If it’s not something necessary and it’s truly worth the price, I think the creator definitely has the ability to price it however they want. Honestly, if someone doesn’t like it, then they don’t have to buy it. (I agree with u lol)

@@saisriselvan7124 it depends on the seller, I've sold some things on etsy and currently working on it becoming a main source of income, but I only sell in the states. International shipping is expensive and alot of the time things can become lost more with International shipping, the risk of having to refund someone completely without recieveing the product back is something many can't afford to risk with being a super small business. Say a 300 dollar order with International shipping out of the country could destroy an etsy business if they had to refund without the ability to resell.
@@Evatinful She donates everything like this to organizations who give prom dresses to low income kids. She's always been super vigilant about not "borrowing" things just for a video because that can hurt small sellers.
I definitely love it that Etsy always do their best to make us happy as a customer. And you should look into other dresses that are NOT prom dresses, but dining wear dresses and attire dresses for parties. Which I bought a dress myself that have bit of a flapper feel, but I’ll buy an actual Flapper dress later. Since this is a suggestion coming from me. And there are other dresses that you should look into that is budget friendly too that are under 500 dollars or, depending here.
I think she’s mentioned before that she donates prom dresses to organizations like the princess project that gives prom dresses to people who can’t afford them
Literally just bought a wedding dress from Etsy! The seller completely designed the dress for me from scratch and it just arrived today. It fits perfectly is absolutely stunning and was 700$ :)

I actually bought my wedding dress on etsy 8 years ago, a little over $300 including shipping and it was custom made for for me, she just asked what colors and my measurements. Absolutely loved it!

HA i'm 55 years old, binge watching your prom dress videos awaiting your kitchen video tomorrow LOL (i already watched the "marble" countertop one) but i had a gorgeous emerald green "formal attire" dress that literally sat in my closet for over a decade - it was beautiful velvet on top with short sleeves and an empire waist and a satin bottom portion with velvet covered buttons all down the front - just gorgeous and a timeless design style. Finally when we moved i decided to donate it to our local thrift store - figuring some young girl is going to be on a tight budget for prom and will be able to buy that dress (it was literally never worn other than a few try on's - it'd be fun to put it on here and there but i never had a formal event where that dress was the right one to wear). Anyhow - yeah, all ages enjoy your videos!

HA i'm 55 years old, binge watching your prom dress videos awaiting your kitchen video tomorrow LOL (i already watched the "marble" countertop one) but i had a gorgeous emerald green "formal attire" dress that literally sat in my closet for over a decade - it was beautiful velvet on top with short sleeves and an empire waist and a satin bottom portion with velvet covered buttons all down the front - just gorgeous and a timeless design style. Finally when we moved i decided to donate it to our local thrift store - figuring some young girl is going to be on a tight budget for prom and will be able to buy that dress (it was literally never worn other than a few try on's - it'd be fun to put it on here and there but i never had a formal event where that dress was the right one to wear). Anyhow - yeah, all ages enjoy your videos!
