This was genuinely difficult to put together and took a lot of time. SF6 is generally more accessible and easier to learn than other Street Fighter games but It's much, much more difficult to do perfect parry stuff than it is in 3rd strike. Parrying Zangief's Level 2 and Jamie's Level 1 took a lot of time and it felt like I actually had to 'get good' to finally pull them off. Thanks for watching!
Yo you are the goat it took you a week lol I remember requesting this last week 😂truly the greatest and the there needs to be desk sf6 music collaboration for sure we need to help push this
ROFL... man, you are insane... I never use Drive Parry unless I want to use Drive Reversal. Perfect Parry sounds great on paper, but the scaling make it useless. You cannot rely on it during the gameplay either.
Desk is just trying to give us hope; we all know he mastered it all on the first try and the eight minutes is exactly how long it took him to do all of it.
I think we all knew deep down that desk was better than even TASes, except he doesn't come with savestates. And this is the guy they didn't let in the beta or get a creator copy, unthinkable.
Desk, words can't capture how awesome and valuable this video is, but I love it more because you found a reason to play that SF3: New Generation Jazzy NYC Remix!
I've seen a lot of Desk's videos over the years, and I know that he has some insane execution. But being able to out perform the training mode dummy? That's next level.
The way I clicked on this video on the title alone, saw it and I was like - "Wow, this is really giving desk vibes!" *looks at channel name* Ah yes, of course
Desk you are the GAWD MC. Love all of your hard work and dedication to your craft. One of a kind and we are blessed to have you brotha! Keep up the fire content 🔥🔥🔥
i bet the lvl1 jamie was the hardest as i tried perfect parry it but i just couldn't, his lvl1 active frames are not going in the same rythm like chun's lvl2. mad respect for your efforts to pull these off man nice vid !
Gods desk, you're insane at times. Somehow Luke's level 1 being so difficult to perfect parry that even the CPU can't do it right now is unsurprising: it fits his "new main protagonist" energy. Also, despite being among your simplest punishes, all of the air throw ones come off as hilarious, especially Cammy vs. Lily. Poor girl must have accidentaly clobbered a cat in front of Cammy or something. (Ditto for the taunt "punishes" and EVO moment nods.)
This was insane and deserves ridiculous views. Fantastic show of skill man. Love the Chun/Ken ones but awesome job showing the cpu how it’s done with Luke lmao. Are you even human?
Great seeing your combos showcased in Red Bull Kumite Desk. I hope they asked you for permission in private because there seemed no acknowledgement on the spot.
starting with Ken and CHun-li while playing some Jazzy NYC. nice. only thing missing is a subway station stage. also the flex of Desk outperforming the CPU.
@@SmokePudding i mean, perfect parries are very strong. They can totally flip a situation on its head and turn what would be a safe frametrap into a cornered knockdown, and pretty much the only way around them is hard callout with throw. They're just different from how people typically think of a parry, using them to get huge punishes on pokes in neutral or pull a moment 37. These parries aren't good on offence, they're good on defence. Which... makes sense, doesn't it?
@@adre2194 after 2 months in the lab and getting to almost Diamond 5 I can safely say that I was wrong in my assessment and Perfect Parries are incredible
So like with the combos he pulls off along with stuff like this, this dude easily gotta be top 2% if he has even the slightest knowledge on fundamentals. Can we see him play the game anywhere?
Hey Desk! This was amazing. Thanks for the time and effort. Love getting a perfect parry but tend to have no idea how to punish. Would love to see a vid for a regular jump in or light attack?
Nah perfect parry is a really safe option because if you fuck it up you get regular parry most of the time. You don’t want the scaling to be good or else the whole game would revolve around a really safe really rewarding option.
I'd love to see you do JP's level 2 with a regular bread and butter level 2 blockstring he does in there, that would probably look like an amazing combo of projectile and perfect parries.

Enough said.

You know shit's getting serious when Desk surpasses the training mode settings
Thank you for your comment because I'm just speechless
4:40 Loved how Desk did the Bizarro World version of Evo Moment 37 here.
I was thinking the same thing! "Let's Go Daigo!!"
Good one
XD
LET'S GO DAIGO
Thanks for practicing for a week on this incredibly niche thing so I could be entertained for 8 minutes.
I didn't even realised/noticed that it was 8mins long. I was a bit shocked after reading ur comment.
Desk is just trying to give us hope; we all know he mastered it all on the first try and the eight minutes is exactly how long it took him to do all of it.
I just realized that. 😂👍
I thought he did everything with some kind programmable inputs. These are not done by hand.
@@Burglecutterhow so!?
Desk, what alien homeworld did you come from to style on humanity like this

He's done it. He's created a weapon to surpass Daigo Gear.
Love how you did the full Daigo parry with the counterattack combo as well for perfect accuracy!

That's actually why they didn't let him play early. They wanted the game's sauces and secrets to remain sealed until retail release
Gief putting his face in Dhalsim's Giant L2 fireball and then applauding genuinely had me laughing out loud.
bro ate it
Zangief's had vodka spicier than that
Damn you didn't have burn to the CPU that hard.😂

Desk doing a dash charge super in Guile’s segment just to flex… legend
Love how Desk flexes on the CPU's parry skill
Me thinks there's gonna be incredibly clutch tourney moments with perfect parries after a couple years

Well clearly Cammy got through.
And failed horribly.
With a big prize pool on the line, I so desperately want to see someone parry a super on the grand stage.
LETS GO JUSTIN!
what i learned from this... wait cammy has an air grab?
JP, juri, cammy, guile and chun li have one, kim and gief have air command grabs

Apparently seeing as how he was able to perfect parry Luke's level 1 super better than the A.I itself lmao.
This is extremely motivating!!! This is time we'll spent
I totally want a tutorial on how to perfect parry multiple hits on the Chun. That Luke explanation was golden.

Desk: The dummy can't perfect parry this, but I can, because a ain't no dummy. Lookit.

The funny part is doing this is actively detrimental in most cases because of the extra scaling lol

2 frames versus 8 yeah and ltg calls this game no skill
@4:33 Chun: Revenge is SWEET!
Who would've thought that the hardest Super to parry is Luke's level 1 out of all the cast.
I didn’t even know Chun could do here level 1 in the air….
