All this game footage is my own gameplay, which I recorded and edited to my channel using OBS Studio. All the fade-in between some clips is part of my editing on Adobe Premiere from my own captured gameplay for entertaining and educational purposes. JP has quickly become one of my all time favorite fighting game characters. His sophistication, nonchalance, DRIP. The way he's villainous but in a more subtle, "elegant" way than other SF villains. He's like a dark, unique take on the "old master" archetype present in so many fighting games/martial arts media.
The only thing I don't like about him is the connection to Shadaloo. Canonically, Bison is one of the 3 students who were taught Psycho Power by an unknown master. I think it'd make JP so much more interesting if he was one of those other students, choosing a slightly different path than Bison. Making JP Shadaloo's finance guy who somehow got a hold of Psycho Power cheapens him a bit imo. Other than that he's great.
I would've said the same but somehow him being ex-Shadaloo makes him more interesting. Especially since he wasn't a victim or tool or a loyalist to Shadaloo but moreso one who simply coveted a new power. And it adds to the enigma behind him because JP is such an outlier among those formerly Shadaloo, that it adds to the mystery surrounding him imo
I think the new villain being Shadaloo’s accountant is very funny.

Something tells me too, that JP is telling half truths as well. He might be one of those old students but was always had a knack for behind the scenes work but still a student that probably had the powers but never practiced as hard until now. I could imagine maybe Bison was showing him a few things while JP was going over the taxes and they spoke of old times?

Not really more gaslighting he fully aware he’s responsible. He just covers his tracks and makes you look like the unreasonable one
His sophisticated facade is so convincing that, if we didn't know the true story, we would believe his lies.
It makes him a really nice contrast to Bison. Bison, if nothing else, was very forward and clear with who he was and what he wanted. JP, on the other hand, has no problem lying straight to your face. So much so that you don’t even know when he’s being truthful.
Yeah, I already know the truth from other characters. As well as his backstory.
If we didnt dig deep in JP, we could have been fooled.
The craziest thing is that there’s still so much we don’t know about him a month later. How he got Psycho power, how he framed Ken, and why literally everything about him goes so hard I still don’t know.

JP is the kind of person who knows people better than they know themselves and exploits them on it. And many of the world's most powerful do the exact same thing to us.

As much as i love bison JP is in my opinion a waaaaaaayyyyy better villan i love his personality,his calm but intimidating voice and his design so much he realy is a top tier villan for me,bison is iconic and scary but JP is creep,you can't realy understand him and what his thinking he is way more complex and he knows how to be evil with actions,bison is the type of guy that would just go to hand to hand combant our mind control you like he did with ken but JP would manipulate you,destroy you emotionaly and only go to a actual fight if his out of options

I find it strange of JP to not acknowledge how he knows it's us that he is talking about when he talks about the fighter who inspected the belt or even the person who fought him after the explosion. I suppose it's in character from what I understand but still weird

As much as i dont want to admit with all the shit he's pulled in this story mode. I be lying if i said i couldn't possibly sympathize he's way of fighting or even view of the world. He maybe an old man, but now its confirmed he just as much of a flegiing in the fighting bizz like Luke or Lilly. I also now have a better understanding of Psycho Power, and what his overall affinity is, but like i said before, in the world of Street Fighter, there is no real good or evil, at least not anymore Bison is gone.
He seems to be following in the foot steps of Bison maybe because of the psycho power telling from his ending when he said it was utterly illogical for Bison to throw a martial arts tournament in his plan for world domination but he was starting to see the appeal. It shows that he was starting to become more like Bison with him gaining his own psycho powers he always wanted from witnessing Bison's psycho powers. Now that he has honed them it will be interesting to see what he does in the future.

Eh i mean in his defence for all he knew we could have been there to check if the bomb was ready to go off and he didnt know we were there to do the opposite and while i would have been fine with him attempting to blow us up for that reason him trying to get a little girl to pass the bomb was pretty much a dick move
@@Sabrina_Tea I feel like his attempt in blowing us up wouldn't work since we still had the pin to defuse the bomb, if Bosch haven't taken the belt then we could've easily defuse the bomb without anyone being the wiser.
I think the teaching moment comes before the final fight against him.
