This isn't comprehensive, there were a bunch of modern/classic control things and some stuff that wasn't easy to represent visually. I think these are the funnest or most impactful things in the patch.

JP used Amnesia > JP forgot how to build meter.
No od reversal build meter... so jp gets the same treatment. Sounds fair to the cast

Amnesia setup were situational at best. Honestly I didn't even notice any changes until I saw the video. I knew about standing HP, but that was about it. The scaling however is way too important.
Reminder that this is a small patch, a bigger patch will be coming later, I think at the end of the season

He might became another nash in sf5.
@@DollRyougiNah, he will be more similar to bison in a way where it struggles with aint airs. (do obviously different playstyles) I don't think this would quite kill the character, but it I do think it will now longer be top 5.

@@DollRyouginah. JP having an anti-air normal move that had invincibility to mid-air attacks is wild. Now it functions like every other AA normal in the game
Jamie losing drinks after super was so stupid it was more of a bug than a design choice

@@chachawho435still bad design choice when his lvl two was really niche, to the point of not really having uses outside of, closing out the round (and lvl 3 is better for that) or making unsafe moves safe. Now it has uses of being good /okay install

@@chachawho435I think it wasn't really a bug, but like they programmed Jamie to have his character model change slightly with each successive drink level along with SA2 being active or inactive, and somehow overlooked the fact that there would be times where the model would have to change out of sequence before the next round, thanks to his SA2 being time-limited.
This is a great change, but still makes SA2 better to use early in a round instead of later. If he did it at, say, drink level 2 or 3 (or 4 with more than half Drive meter), they ought to give him a "backup stock" to carry over into the next round.
Wait, so if you were at drink level 2-3 and used his level 2, you’d go back to drink level 0 after the install ran out?

desk is more "show, not tell" kind of video

Looking back at season 1 tournaments with JP is gonna be pretty hilarious in a few years. Those OD Amnesia nerfs are gonna hit him hard.
I mean, he can still do 40% with full resources to close a round. I think the AA nerf is gonna hit him way harder in the long run.

@@budafuka Yeah but without being able to build bar after an OD amnesia, he has to be fully stocked for that to happen. That's quite different to him having 2 bars, using a counter and killing an opponent at 60% hp.
@@ultimateman55 He can still side switch or put you full screen with it. It still has its utility. You just won't end a round for an opponent trying to grab you at 55% health. The AA nerf is just straight up taking a tool away. I guess he still has 6HK, even if it's more situational.

@@tedjomuljono3052better but not perfect. it can still miss for people really close to the ground. I guess they probably didn't want it to hit grounded moves that count as airborne (e.g. Ryu's forward+HK)
