  • 3 day camp out in the Arctic military canvas tent in the woodland.
Challenge. Get outside camping and test yourself and your gear. Let me know how you get on ..
I spent my 3 days preparing wood for the firepit and woodburning stove, using the kelle kettle, tending to my veg plot and spending time chilling with buster my dog.

3 days! Hmmm, that adds up to 2 and a half cases of 2 story Budweiser beer, 5 lbs. of government cheese, and 2 loaves of french bread. Sounds like a great weekend to me, there uh, Bushwacker Man!

The wooden rolls are otherwise something with gunpowder in them, even if they are a little wet, and the pot is a super pot with bite in it, the musical tone has become much better, even the mice don't run away screaming anymore.

If I had a fine camp like that I don't think I'd ever go home again 😄 I've just had a little girl and I hope she follows your daughters footsteps, I shall be playing her videos to her when she gets older. Great video sir all the best 👍

I go every December for 3 days it doesn't always get as cold as you have it, but we do get down in the 20 F. I set traps for fur and to eat. Love doing this kind of stuff my favorite time of the year to camp.

btw - as a father like yourself can only congratulate you on your daughter, well rounded down to earth lady, sure you are mega proud of her but you should also be proud of yourself because she wouldn't be who she is without you, and as a father of a 19 year old i know i have not been the best and can appreciate those who have done better than me

Cracking camp that. Managed to do 37 days under the stars this year so far. I did a 19 days camping about the Anaga in Tenerife in march which was amazing to cheat the winter. I do love the winter camps also mind. Some 4 day camps a couple of threes, mostly in Forrest areas in Germany and some lake areas in the winter. Did a big communal camp and invited a load of the boys at Easter for a big cook up and 🍺 at my private camp wich was canny. Got my eyes on a new area to check out this week on the river Rhein. I’m a geordie ex squadie with a tour of afghan and can’t say enough what getting out in nature does for me . Hope your well👍🏻

If you had a chefs knife cutting veggies is easy. You can probably pick on up at a 2nd hand store. Thanks for the guitar playin too.

Lovely to see you out again mate. You've got it real cosy there, but know you've put a lot of hard graft and effort to get it where it is now...especially that vegetable patch. Be real interesting to see how your crops do this year. Buster loved it bless him. That stove seems to be holding up well. The chilli...Good ole cowboy food, just what you need on a winter camp. How satisfying is it when we see the flames belching out the top of our kelly kettles for a lovely cuppa eh 😉 Easily pleased aren't we 👍 It's the simple things in life that make us happy

Good challenge, appreciate that's your regular camp that you're used to though and stayed at for weeks before. Maybe you could go somewhere different and just take 5 items and see how you get on like a proper challenge? ...

Not many places left in the UK to wild camp, without breaking the law. The challenge nowadays is not to get caught wild camping 👍👍

It's gonna be a real challenge if you don't live at the garden to keep care, the deer and other animals will eat it and insects will eat your crops. You need chickens, goats lambs, a cow.and they all need food and water. It was a hard life without plenty of water too. Survivors made it, others didn't. You need medicine also. How we take our lives for granted...

You brought in your Own Water etc , You didnt say by Vehicle thsts Parked Yards from the Camera, Try Backpacking it in, fresh Toms in that Concoction you did that had Tinned Toms in already.
Even you Dog makes you look a Idiot ,Watched Every step you did, Try giving him the Scent and dragging it along the Floor out of his View.
Dont let him Chew Twigs , not if you want a Vets Bill for a Perforated Gut , Throat or Teeth /Gum Issues.
Use Ash on Stove Glass will Scratch it, leading to weakness & Cracking , on initial lighting when it stops Smoking in the Stove , Wipe Glass with a Damp Cloth ,it will stay clear
