    Wow those are some crazy good comics. You should put a "FRAGILE" sticker on that Startling Comics so that they might at least attempt to be delicate with it. I recently got into pressing and I'm having a blast doing it. I've done about 200 of my personal books and I will eventually send some of the better ones off to CGC. I'm hooked on comics again after being away from it for 20 years. Keep up the good work with the show and good luck with the grades!

    Phantom Lady #15 (1947) is also an early reference to the walking dead. Great stuff!

    Anxious to see how the Star Trek run comes back with the writing.

    The sharp covers is one of the things I really like about GA and SA pedigrees.

    Put a note on that Startling Stories book for the staple issue. Hopefully they will be more careful with it during the grading process.

    All very nice books, but that Famous Funnies 214 and Vault of Horror 35 are standouts. Need those in the PC at some point.

    Currently all tiers are opened very quickly at CGC

      All except normal economy. That one is still 150 business days. But fast track economy is quick

    Great stack! One question though, I thought that if you were doing different tiers submission to CGC, you had to ship separately. I’m still new to grading so if this is not the case, I would love to know. I have a decent FF 49 I wanted to send with my next batch (was a wedding present from my wife 20yrs ago)

      No, different tiers can be shipped in together. They will be shipped back to you separately.

    I know you have answered this question before but would you submit a 1940s era book to be pressed and graded and if so by whom. I am afraid of brittle pages and spine splitting thank you

    • @AutomaticComics
      @AutomaticComics  Год назад +1

      I’ve had some sponsored videos recently by the presser I use. I’ve sent many golden age books to him. His name is The Comic Book Presser.
      Spine splitting/etc is always a risk if the book is brittle or fragile.
      If you use him make sure to let him know I sent you.

      @@AutomaticComics yes absolutely I could be a valuable book so. I will. I will also ask if he could evaluate whether or not I should do it or not. I also have several silver age comics but this is the first book I would consider pressing and grading. Thank you so much for responding

      Thanks again I will use them and tell them that you sent me but feel it’s too risky to press a 1940s book but will get my silver age books pressed there
