Awesome repair , I rebuilt my m113 last year 15k miles ago & runs like a bat out of hell . I ported the heads & re surfaced them , also lapped valves . You better believe I replaced every seal & gasket on the engine , sensors , vac lines ect . EVERYTHING. I enjoyed the process & want to get my hands on another rebuild project this year !
I love how you are willing to take on complicated repairs. Hard to find competent mechanics like you! Great job. That era of AMG's are very reliable and worth the investment in up keep.
About to do this job myself on my '00 ML55 (226k miles). Doesn't look too difficult of a job. What did you use to pull the old seals out and press the new ones in? Thanks for the video and the tips for the air pressure and tool modifications.
@@angerthosenear_yt I used special curved pliers that came in my N62 AGA valve stem tool kit. You can probably use similar pliers. Thank you. If I were to do this job again I would invest into a hub locking too for this engine, would help avoiding to rotate the engine.
Hi, Good video! I have lifter tick, when the engine is 1st started ,and goes away after a couple of minutes. I just want to change the noisy lifters. Do you have details of how to get the rocker train off and reinstall? Do the pistons need to be in a certain position? Is it hard to get the lifters out of the rockers? Thanks.
@@terrenceg3257 Hello, thank you, I don’t have any videos, but there are a few good videos you can find that will help with that. I would do the stem seals as well if you are doing the lifters.
Can you show us how to change the camshafts? I am going to install N/A M113 AMG Camshafts on my M113 4.3, but not sure in whole what will i face in the process...

@@DEEuroworks Thanks for the input. I'll be sure the tool kit I get has the pliers, seems worth it to save on sanity with that amount of seals.
