Great video man. I’m happy Glass has been slowly rising through your ranks because I think it’s interesting if nothing else.

Signs is number 1. No argument needed. Just watch it again….. soooo good! I literally just finished it again.

Funny you say this,I recently did another Shyamalan binge and it changed my ranking, I did end up putting Signs at No.1

Fantastic video man I share your sentiments on Shyamalan and I think he's sorely misunderstood and probably one of my favourite auteurs of the past 25 years. I haven't seen Praying with Anger, Wide Awake or Knock at the Cabin and I couldn't get through more than 20 mins of The Last Airbender but I've seen the rest. Here's my ranking:
    1. Split
    2. Unbreakable
    3. Glass
    4. The Village
    5. Signs
    6. The Sixth Sense
    7. The Visit
    8. Old
    9. Lady in the Water
    10. The Happening
    11. After Earth

Definitely recommend Knock at the Cabin. But I'm glad to find some Shyamalan truthers out here 😅. Totally respect your ranking, I understand why they're all where they are...

Great video man. I always enjoy his films when I'm watching them but for some reason they fall out of favour a bit when I think about them after watching, like the following day or whatever, which is a bit strange. So I never really know what to make of him. Favourites are Sixth Sense, The Village, Signs, Unbreakable, and The Visit, in any order. Thanks again for the video.

A lot of people seem to have this and I think it might honestly be the social bias settling back in. During his better films, people tend to enjoy them and then suddenly afterwards, people sour on him again. I just think everybody is so used to dunking on him that it's hard to kind of deprogram that, I don't know. I make my best case for him in the video I did entirely about him but yeah, thank you so much for watching!

The plan is to get to Nolan, Fincher, Tarantino, Schrader, Scorsese, Spielberg, Raimi, Craven, Carpenter, Baumbach but that's a lot of movies 😅
