M night Shymalan is the guy who makes unique and risky movies which people think as mediocre...
You truly need to have a unique understanding of life to understand his movies
He ends his movies with a profound message, the way Twilight Zone did.!
Well said
Really enjoyed this. I wish he would at some point do an interview just discussing his movies. His ideas, the meaning behind certain things that happened, why he made certain choices, etc.
He deserves an Oscar for unbreakable's screenplay
Some of my alltime favorite movies are The sixth sense, Signs, The visit, Split .. when I found out they all were made by the same dude I realized M. Night must be my favorite film director
Just watched "Old" yet another fabulous movie I couldn't figure out the ending. I love your works. Never stop. 🥰
Signs will always hold a special place in my heart. One of my most favorite movies.
I haven't seen most of his movies, but the ones I've seen I've liked. Writing unique and interesting plot twists is one of the most challenging things for a writer, so I really respect him cause he's written more than a couple great plot twists.
I LOVE that he was careful about spoilers for movies that have been out for over a decade. What a cool guy.
His movies are so bad they are good, love this guy, big fan. He has a very specific style which always puts a smile on my face
He is adorable; one of my favorite directors! 😁
That ending! What a twist!
I always liked M. Night. He always seemed like a real nice and down to Earth fellow. He did good with this here. I know his career has been uneven, but to me he had done well.
You're telling me wired overlooked all the live action avatar googles?..
Cause.. thats like #1.
And THIS is a “how to love the thing you do” lesson
I for one, thought his trilogy was dope af. Yes, even the ending.
Ikr. Very ballsy and brave ending. I'm a great fan of the trilogy but I seriously hope he makes a limited series focusing on David Dunn's transition in between Unbreakable and Split.
I think the ending was brilliant...
This was one of the guys who taught me about cinema and I love him.
Old was really a good movie, definitely one of his best.
Love this man.
I also love all of his movies (except AtLA and After Earth). Yes, even The Happening, Lady In the Water, and The Village. Some of his best and most underrated films, imho.
