I swear the graphics and Art design for this game is timeless, it just always looks good no matter how much time passes by
I got this game from my uncle 14 years ago when I was 6. I remember always getting scared because of the intro, fatalities, dark battlegrounds and music but still loved the game. I always chose scorpion and still use him as my main in the new games. Good times.

This is was first game I bought along with my PS2 . I was super impressed and awe by its immersive graphics and gore back in 2004

still wonder what a deadly alliance liu kang would have played like. I remember getting this game on release and firing up the OG xbox, my older brother and i so excited to play it. Then that neck snap in the intro just made my jaw drop and my mind reboot for a second . My guy liu was done, just like that. Pissed me off for a while, but i just learned kung lao and decided he was a cool main. I warmed up to the game. The story, fighting styles, aesthetics, music, all of it

Makes me sad why midway was shutdown and was on the brink of bankruptcy when Armageddon and deception were amazing. Yet you have studios now that half ass games shoved out unfinished yet there still in business.
This game and deception did it the best in terms of gameplay and the fighting styles. I played this game so damn much as a kid. Dont get me wrong I'm enjoying the new MK1 that just came out as I type this, but I have so many memories of MKDA I had to look it up on RUclips one time. Lol

I remember I wanted this game back in the day. I have/had Deception & Armageddon, but never got this one. These days, a playthrough video is enough for me to be satisfied, but I'll always remember the one that evaded my grasp.

I played Deception on Xbox and Armageddon on Xbox 360 since it’s compatible.
I had this on the gameboy advance, very few characters on that version but still amazing, i remember playing it when i was like 4yrs old

would play this back in 2009 with my dad and i'd body him with li mei so hard he would actually toss his controller down and push me out of his bedroom. all in good fun, of course, because i'd come back like five minutes later with some soda and chocolate chip cookies and we'd be right back to playing again.
of course, i'd play this alone and for some reason was actually terrified of arcade mode.

I really enjoyed the different fighting styles for each character in this game. I remember playing MK in the arcade and on Sega Genesis. Good memories.

They really put a lot of time and effort in to this MK, and it shows. I wore this out on the Gamecube. Great way to bring the franchise back after 4 was so awful.

Puedes jugarlo mediante emuladores de PS2. No creo poder dar nombres de paginas de ROMS, eso queda a tu propio riesgo. Pero de emuladores si, NetherSX2/AetherSX2 (la versión sin anuncios se puede encontrar en su Discord oficial) para Android. Para PC, PCSX2 es el mejor a lo que sé.
