    I am commenting now and there are 506 views and 2.23K subscribers. Soon "0" s will start adding on both. This is a magnificent video, thrilled to see it. Many of the things in the video I have seen in the caverns on the soil. Underwater having them is unbelievable. Hats off to your courage to explore such undiscovered places and to your dedication & passion 🙂

    Only complaint is y’all should be using rebreathers because all the expelled carbon dioxide will a negative impact on all these formations

    • @Underwater_Explorations
      @Underwater_Explorations  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your comment. It is indeed thought provoking and your point in well taken. Cavern and cave diving worldwide is done with open circuits and it wasn’t until recently that rebreathers started to be used more commonly in these environments (i.e Ed Sorenson etc) and surely rebreathers have their advantages in certain caves (not only for gas conservation, but also for silt prevention) but I am not sure all caverns, caves and cenotes for that matter, require rebreathers to prevent damage of their formations. In fact, several studies have been done in the cenotes, including Cenote Zapote where amazing biological formations call Bells, have been throughly researched, and there is no evidence to suggest CO2 has any effect of the formations. Again, I do see your point and I absolutely agree rebreathers are a welcome tool, just not sure it must be used routinely to prevent damaging caves and caverns formations.
      Thank you again 🙏🏻🙂

      @@Underwater_Explorations awesome insight I’ve always heard to use them during cave dives to prevent damage to formations and what not I’ll definitely have to look into the cenotes studies but love the content from you guys!
