In sidemount, when you swim, often a tank will be clanging in rhythm to the pace of the fin kicks against one of the fittings or D rings. That's a common sidemount "sound" and yes I do love that sound because I'm CAVE DIVING! Then there is the other sound that Navy1977 is talking about...when you whack the wall with the tank. We really try to avoid that.
I will never go cave diving and will never see this awesome cave face to face, thank you guys for making this video happen! and thanks robbie! awesome cave!
Jonathan and Todd’s kicking, buoyancy and tank trim are all getting up to the next level ! Also, this cave looks so spectacular it is hard to believe that is real. Maybe go back next time to show Woody and Gus ????
So, the funny thing is that Woody and Gus dove it first. Gus got out of the water, and immediately called me and said "DUDE! YOU GOTTA SEE THIS CAVE!!!"
I'm just having goosebump by seeing the scenery underneath through a video, can't imagine how amazing it is if seeing with the real eye! Great content as always!
It was absolutely beautiful. I have never been in complete awe of nature. When you entered that massive chamber. It felt so immersive. The sheer magnitude of it made it look like you were gliding in the air in the middle of the chamber. I honestly don’t know how one could even attempt to start the training or the necessary knowledge it takes to be able to dive successfully and safely but when the scenery is as beautiful as your cameras have captured. It seems like it would be all worth it. I hope I am lucky enough one day to be able to experience this in person. What an experience.
Amazing. The bones get me…to have been hidden for so long and then to be seen again. And not just the bones but all of it, the beauty of it. It’s a very special thing. Thanks for sharing.
This is soo amazing, the pain taken by you to film along with diving is what I am so grateful for. When you reached the large room in the cave I started feeling nervous and a bit of anxiety, because I imagine myself doing the same.. and just imagining is so hard. It requires a lot of courage. Hats off to you, let me tell you..(you already know) you are living the most of your life.. more than most people on earth!!
Thanks so much!! In the big room I really wanted to swim way out in the middle and try to film from far away, but honestly I was not sure that was a good idea!
DiveTalk brought me here. This video is GREAT 👍, well narrated, well edited, crystal clear video, a joy to watch thank you. And although I’ve never dived I can see excellent 👌🏻 trim and great flutter kick techniques used 😂 here Woody would be commenting on this. 😂
One of the many reasons I keep watching: the chance to see new places like this without the hassle of having to go there or worse, break something!!! I think the odd bone sample could be taken to age the relics in there too; that would be fascinating to learn!!!
Thanks so much for sharing this spectacular cave! As a diver who had enjoyed Tulum's cenotes, I had to say it would be more stunning when you dive into them by yourselves. Go dive in Yucatan!
Outstanding. I would never go cave diving, but I still love videos like this. I want to go scuba diving one day, and potentially get technical diving training. I love the idea of exploring caverns and shipwrecks.
Loved the Cenote scuba diving in Yucatán. Friends kept telling me to go and I thought that it couldn’t be as amazing as they kept saying. It actually was even better.
I'm not sure which I like better, doing the dive myself, or sharing it with others. I really love filming this stuff and pulling it together into an adventure video.
Every time I run into you as you have been about to go diving (half a dozen times now I think?) I am struck by the almost childlike sheer joy and enthusiasm you are showing to it all. I have seen many try to do what you do and often the work involved and pressure seems to suck the joy out of them. I am sure 100% that is part of your success and longevity, and I say that as guy in the dive industry that first watched anything of yours after I met you when you were filming it, long after you were well established..LOL Honestly, and I hope you take this the right way, that excitement you have reminds the sometime cynical me how awesome it is, and how fortunate I have been to make a living in diving 30 years, and for that i appreciate it. That has actually very little to do with your show funny enough, it's stand alone and you as a person and diver. One day when we are diving the same puddle same day we should make an effort to at the same time.. 🙂 @@BlueWorldTV
Thank you for making the videos, Jonathan. My 5-year-old daughter Amelia and I watch them before bed, she is absolutely fascinated by everything you make she loves the blue world.
Thanks for the great footage. I have just been to Yucatan in November and have been lucky enough to get some dives at the Pit and Co. But this is really something else. Thanks blue world team, well done
That was absolutely magnificent ! I don't know why, but RUclips didn't notify me about your last 5 or 6 videos, i have some catch up to do, i missed the BlueWorld.
Have you ever heard of the Lost Sea? It's a MASSIVE underground lake/underwater cave system, right here in Tennessee. You can tour the lake in a glass bottom boat, meet the native fish without eyes, and I'm sure a professional like you could get permission to dive there! 😊
I have heard of it and I think we looked into it a year or so ago and we weren't sure we could get permission to dive. I need to put that back on our radar.
@@BlueWorldTV That's awesome 👍 I really hope you get to drive there in the future. I would love for everyone who watches your channel to have the opportunity to see it from your perspective, and be made aware of these mysterious wonders tucked away in our land locked states.
Hey,.. Jonathan and Todd I've Been really enjoying your Videos I live in Vermont and was Amazed when You And your Team came to Vt and did some Diving on lake Champlain Thought that was Really Awesome So please just Keep the video's Coming out OK Take care and stay safe
Thats why you are the best scuba channel!!! thanks for this upload
Thanks for watching!
Is it just me or is the sound of full tanks clanging together on the way to your dive site one of the best sounds ever?!?!?! 😄
@Navy1977LMAOOOO THEIR BALLS OF STEEL 😭
@Navy1977 That’s funny…. I don’t care who you are…. 😂
I’m starting my sidemount class in about a month and I can’t wait!!! It’ll probably sound like two BBs banging together when I frog kick!!! 😂
JONATHAN HAS RETURNEEDDDDD
I never left!!! We just reduced output during the winter because we were busy and our traffic goes down anyway.
@@BlueWorldTVwatching all of your videos right now!! I just watched sully the pilot whale!
Oh crap I was just watching his old stuff. I had no idea he still dives and posts! Gonna catch up now.
oh Jonathan, we NEED an Imax tour of this cavern!! Insane!

Amazing cave! I' m not a diver, not even really a swimmer.....Thanks for bringing the blue world to my home❤
Our pleasure!

These videos give me the calm and peace I'm looking for. Especially the diving shots. The back score is just perfect
Incredible! The water is soooo clear it's as if you're flying. Also terrifying af

Kudos to Noah! Especially among the mosquitos for 3 hours!🎉❤

More oceans coming!
Endorse Johnathan's narrative skill!❤

Such a beautiful place. It would be easy to forget your daily little problems. Thank you for sharing this hidden place right here on earth.
When I'm in there, so quiet on the rebreather, it's amazingly peaceful. My zen.

Not super recently. I’m still shooting with a GH6 and Todd has a GH5. Above water Noah was being lazy and used the new DJI pocket 3.
