Just purchased a scuf pro for my pc. I had a scuf controller previously (ps5 fps version) not a cheap controller either. It’s finally getting stick drift. I was surprised because I’ve easily logged over 1000 hours with it; with no problems whatsoever. I figure stick drift will still be an issue, seeing as how the stick modules aren't replaceable. But if I can get another 1000 hours out of this controller, I’ll be extremely pleased.

How is the Envision Pro holding up? I'm tempting to get it for my PC. I already got the Xbox Elite Series 2, but the buttons are so mushy and unresponsive. While battling bosses in Elden Ring I can swear to God the A and Y buttons can click without triggering. Been through 2x Elite Series 1, and 2x Elite Series 2. I love everything else about it. as someone who has used all 3, my personal favourite is the envision pro, close second being the dualsense edge. elite series 2 comes in dead last due to the abysmal quality control of the product, bought it and had an unresponsive A button right out of the box, returned it for a replacement, same thing but plus the same issue with the RB bumper, at that point i just returned it and got my money back. that narrows it to the envision pro and the dualsense edge, where the former is both cheaper and has additional paddles, clicky face buttons and d-pad, superior adjustable triggers. its a no brainer if you're a pc player imo, but the dualsense edge is still a quality product that i'd recomment to any playstation fan who enjoys the feel of the base dualesense.
If you play on PC over multiple different genres including non controller supported games, I'd pick the Dualsense of the 3. @@ChickenPopGames hey thanks for the reply, and the great content! From what ive seen, the Xbox Elite 2 controller is capped at a 125hz polling rate, which equates to 8 milliseconds of input latency. This review seems wrong according to other reviews. One review shows the dualsense Edge polling rate at 1108.49Hz (My Dualsense polls at 1000Hz) and when wired to PC it has an average input delay of 0.9ms maximum at 1.92 and minimum at 0.62. while the Elite S2 wired to PC has an average input delay of 7.85ms maximum at 9.86ms and minimum at 4.75ms. Elite S2 polling rate wired is 127.23Hz. I own the elite S2 as well and love the 4 paddles.
I believe the 1000hz poling rate is once it’s overclocked, I don’t do that sadly. My speed test includes full system latency so I base it on an average of how much faster I am with a particular controller. I know it’s quirky but I feel it gives me an indication of how the controller performs in real time. I appreciate your message, many thanks 🙏
I had the Xbox Elite 2 and I gave it Back 2 days later stickdrift Buttons Not working and so on. Still tho the greatest controller I ever Held in my hands decided to get the ps5 Edge tho. Lets see how i like it
Scuff envision is to damn small the edge paddles break very easily xbox elite lb or rb always breaks but mine has lasted me 2 years before it happends so for me its the elite 2 plus the tension on the sticks is badass
I only play on PC. Xbox Elite 2 was a game changer, well the 4 Back Buttons + reWASD made my Controller gameplay much much better (I don't play shooter). But I had to replace the RB/LB Buttons, had to buy them and solder, did it for the first time, took me a while but I fixed them. A/B/Y/X don't trigger all the time, happens quite often with A, the other ones are OK. The current Controller Market is bad tbh. 1. Xbox Elite 2, lacks many features like Gyro, Quality Control issues, like LB/RB and A,B,Y,X buttons. But PERFECTION regarding the back buttons layout. 2. Sony Edge, came out last year but uses bad Sicks, at least you can change them, only 2 Back buttons, like wtf? I would've bought it if it had 4 Back Buttons. At least it has all the features. 3. Scuf, Bad sticks, lacks Gyro. Tbh, I would've tried it if it had Gyro that I need. All other controller: I ordered Flydigi Vader 3 pro, but quality control is worse then Microsoft, so I don't expect much. I wanted Gulikits new Controller (4 Back buttons Elite 2 layout!!), but you can't map the back buttons to keyboard, like many other controller, they don't care much about PC, they focus on Switch too much. Conclusion, a Controller can cost more than a keyboard, my k100 was cheaper than Scuf and Edge lol. But they still don't deliver a good product, they design them to not last long or don't add features that should be standard by now. I really hope that Microsoft improves the Quality Control before releasing the Elite 3, leave it the same, add better sticks, maybe a few new buttons and all modern features like Gyro. Or Vavle releases a new controller, I am pretty sure that would be the last controller I would need to buy.
Such a great in depth review there, thank you for your input, I’m going to do a 6 months later with the SCUF Envision to give an update. I’m just reviewing the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra which you may like, really feels good, look out for the comparison this weekend. 🙏👍
Envision pro is a tiny controller and is locked too 2ms response time it is a not overclockable and side buttons constantly clicked when trying too shoot returned it next day was a terrible compared too the dualsense edge.
At least you tried it, I can’t agree more about the software, it’s not up to standard. You can blank off the side buttons and response times for me are not noticeable compared to the Dual Sense, TBH both the controllers have strengths and weaknesses but I would be happy with either in the long run. Really appreciate your input, I feel your points are valid for your experience. 👍🙏
As much as i love a controller review, the most important part of the XBOX controller is not discussed and that is your bumpers, they are connected to a piece of plastic internally, which in a very short period of time wears down causing the bumpers to have significant delay. As much as the controller is fancy externally and provides plentiful of options, the internal make up is just of such poor quality. At the cost they charge, it is so disappointing. Then there is customer support, for such a large company, you expect Worldwide support, they do not provide such, so when your bumpers stop working, you have to buy a new controller if your outside of the USA. Shame really. Maybe review the actual game play side of the controller as opposed to how they look. SCUFF for example have many stick drift issues.
I hear your frustrations, this review was based on my gameplay experience, sadly the controllers were all pretty much new so I can’t comment on longevity. What I can do though is feedback at a later date if I have any issues. Thank you for your input and every comment is considered for future reviews. 🙏
@@Seeecretz for me personally it’s the SCUF, it’s shaped perfectly for my hands as you can wrap them completely around the controller. Definitely better for smaller hands and it’s lighter. I’m reviewing the new Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra if you can hold out a bit longer. 👍
I would buy neither of these options, they just don't compete with the Apex 4 on PC, period. All of them will suffer from stick drift, and having to keep buying replacement modules for the DS Edge, is just Sony's way of making money indefinitely. The simple truth is that almost all first party controllers suck, no matter what platform you play on. As much as 3rd party controllers get heavily criticised, they have come a very long way, and are objectively better than 1st party controllers atm. Even if you're someone that wants the haptics of the Dualsense, just stick with stock controller, instead of overpaying for the DS Edge.
I can’t speak for everyone, but for me it’s bc I’ve been a console gamer for almost 30 years. Thats a lot of muscle memory to break to try and relearn keyboard and mouse.
how's the elite trigger ? do they feel good on fps games. I have the dualsense edge for my PS5 but now I'm moving to PC and I only play COD but the edge just feel too big for me to press the back button while shooting, does the short trigger button feels great compared to dualsense edge? Edge trigger stop isn't great I'm also considering the Vader 3 Pro with hall effect stick and mouse click triggers
Id personally go for the SCUF as it’s smaller and better shaped in the hand. Triggers are perfect and have mouse clicks when locked off. It works so much better with PC than using a PS5 controller through Bluetooth. I’ve still not had any issues with mine yet.
I have been a Razer controller user since the 360, ive had one for the 360(sabertooth), one for the xbone(Wolverine Ultimate), and so far one for my series S (chroma v2) fantastic if you dont mind a wired controller
It's such a shame the Scuf Envision has no gyro, because the back button placement looks ideal! But no gyro just rules it out for most games I play. With Steam being so good with gyro aiming it's so strange a PC specific controller would have no gyro.
@ChickenPopGames The Stealth Ultra looks like a beast! The issue I've have with Turtle Beach controllers has been reliability, I like what the Recon controller does for sound a lot. Sadly, they've never lasted long for me. I'm on my third Recon. The headsets though, they are excellent! I love Turtle Beach headsets.
@@cunawarit this is really interesting, it seems the most reliable controllers long term are PS5 DualSense as no one has mentioned them yet and I’ve certainly not had an issue. I will test some of there headsets at some point 🙏
Response times are wrong you acutally calculated your brain response time, use Xinput to get the following response time : Ps5 dualsense 1ms ( 1000 polling rate ) Scuf 6 ms ( 300 polling rate ) Idk for the elite
Thanks for the reply, the response times are to show that I was faster with certain controllers and that I or you can react quicker in game. Maybe I could have done the percentage differences instead. Appreciate the input. 👍

@@ChickenPopGames - thank you! I'll look into the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra. Unles the Elite 2 is different, XBox controllers don't fit my hands well, the last one I tried caused me problems. I returned my Scuf Envision Pro after three weeks. Looks nice and feels nice including the click buttons but holy crap is the software horrible. The software would close out of nowhere which will not allow any inputs of the controller aside from basic movements. My gaming performance decreased with the envision pro + iCue, sadly. Thanks for the comment, I had to buy it separately which would have cost a lot more money. This was due to the core colour white wasn’t available with it. Buying these controllers cost me a lot of money for the review 😂
Scuf is notorious for using cheaper material and terrible customer service…the controller is lighter because of the ass material and it doesn’t have dual sense tech or the adaptable trigger sense…

@@ChickenPopGames No problem. FYI - The 1000hz polling rate for the Dualsense is standard, no overclocking involved.
I've got small woman hands. XBox controllers are too big for me. Dualsense isn't too bad. Do you think Envision is smaller than XBox?
All other controller:
I ordered Flydigi Vader 3 pro, but quality control is worse then Microsoft, so I don't expect much.
Scuff envision pro doesn’t have bad sticks wtf your talking about?
Ima have to disagree my logic tech gaming keyboard was 350$ and thats just logic tech now think about a good custom keyboard shesh
@@emiliodominguez9045Exactly, custom keyboards can cost way too much.
My friend from Switzerland has a £500 one, and he's not even a gamer. 😂
Все это красиво,но главная проблема качество стиков и кнопок на хвох через полгода,качество стоящее 18$,а не 180$!😢
I hope this controller has good reliability, I will post an update in six months and let everyone know. ✌️
I was only interested in the response time of scuf nvision pro... It's good for first person shooter games?
I feel that’s what it’s designed for and it’s very good, as everyone says though the software can let it down.
I got a series 2 elite and came with stick drift out box so I took it right back
Envision pro is a tiny controller and is locked too 2ms response time it is a not overclockable and side buttons constantly clicked when trying too shoot returned it next day was a terrible compared too the dualsense edge.
Also the app was terrible triggers couldnt go too zero deadzone was clicking on its own.
Also didnt test overclocked which if you on pc and not doing you are lacking.
SAX is a must need to be standard. Want a console pc controller but envision being pc only n only have sax hurts
Amazing review! you deserve more subs
Really appreciate your support 🙏
Gotta tone down the music. Sometimes it's hard to hear you
Thank you for the advice, really appreciate your honesty 🙏
Hey brother.... what controller do u feel is better for small hands to play shooters ? i use the paddles too much
SCUF Envision definitely feels smaller than PS5 and Xbox is smaller to so depending on budget I’d choose one of those. 🙏👍
@@ChickenPopGames and between scuf or xbox ?
@@Seeecretz for me personally it’s the SCUF, it’s shaped perfectly for my hands as you can wrap them completely around the controller. Definitely better for smaller hands and it’s lighter.
I’m reviewing the new Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra if you can hold out a bit longer. 👍
Ps5 controller has been the best one for me since I got one.
So so great to hear, it’s a really good controller. 🙏
Good review vid mate
Thanks 🙏
Shame about the response times. Yeah, I'm talking about the actual spelling. ;)
Great video mate. It always confused me why pc gamers wanted to use controls, but hey, each to their own. See you Saturday night.
See you Saturday ✌️
I can’t speak for everyone, but for me it’s bc I’ve been a console gamer for almost 30 years. Thats a lot of muscle memory to break to try and relearn keyboard and mouse.
M&K hurts my back
For games like call of duty where controller is the obvious dominant input device.
People are switching to controller because of aim assist is better for FPS close range battles.
Music is distracting and very loud
Thanks, I will make it quieter next time. 🙏
you put dualsense paddles on the wrong side, the paddles has L and R marks
Hi, this has been pointed out already but u appreciate your support. Thank you for watching.

how's the elite trigger ? do they feel good on fps games. I have the dualsense edge for my PS5 but now I'm moving to PC and I only play COD but the edge just feel too big for me to press the back button while shooting, does the short trigger button feels great compared to dualsense edge? Edge trigger stop isn't great
I'm also considering the Vader 3 Pro with hall effect stick and mouse click triggers
Id personally go for the SCUF as it’s smaller and better shaped in the hand. Triggers are perfect and have mouse clicks when locked off. It works so much better with PC than using a PS5 controller through Bluetooth. I’ve still not had any issues with mine yet.
P.S the elite triggers lock off better than the PS5 but still nothing on the Envision.
I have been a Razer controller user since the 360, ive had one for the 360(sabertooth), one for the xbone(Wolverine Ultimate), and so far one for my series S (chroma v2) fantastic if you dont mind a wired controller
This sounds like it’s worth a try, Ile keep this one in mind for the future 🙏
Is it worth 80 bucks? Someone is selling one to me
Which one? They are all worth that price 😊
It's such a shame the Scuf Envision has no gyro, because the back button placement looks ideal! But no gyro just rules it out for most games I play. With Steam being so good with gyro aiming it's so strange a PC specific controller would have no gyro.
Such a great point, I’m getting reviewing the new Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra soon so will see how that compares to the SCUF. 🙏👍
Response times are wrong you acutally calculated your brain response time, use Xinput to get the following response time :
Ps5 dualsense 1ms ( 1000 polling rate )
Scuf 6 ms ( 300 polling rate )
Idk for the elite
Thanks for the reply, the response times are to show that I was faster with certain controllers and that I or you can react quicker in game. Maybe I could have done the percentage differences instead. Appreciate the input. 👍
while you should use Xinput, the stats here are completely wrong
Your under rated
Thank you, have a good day! 🙏
I want the scuf controller but don’t care for icue software as it is bloated. My system has lian li fans and aio.
Hey, scuf envision pro or normal?
Great question, normal doesn’t have wireless or lockable rear buttons I believe so depends what type of gaming you do. If you are serious with FPS games then I’d go for Pro. 👍🙏
@@ChickenPopGamesThank you , i play a lot of cod on pc , always cable connect to pc ,but i see a lot of people saying the system is trash , the support too , and controller stick drift easy , is the same with you ? and the edge wins on this because where i live , the edge sell in everyshop and talk to face its easy than suport!
@@FozCoolLiving I believe all the controllers have had some sort of negative feedback, the problem is we only normally see the negative comments and there is also lots of positive out there you don’t hear about.
The edge is a great controller but doesn’t have 4 back paddles and is big and bulky in the hand. If that doesn’t matter to you then go for it, they are all great controllers and you’d be happy with any. 👍
@@ChickenPopGames you are right, when i buy i tell you What i choose
I returned my envision pro as well I just couldn’t get use to the layout of the controller
That’s a shame, what are you using instead?
Same. And it was definitely bigger than my ps5 controller so I’m not sure how the dual sense edge would be bigger than the envision?
@@ergonomicLThat’s interesting, it shows that we all have different hands. To me the Edge was just a bit fatter and heavier in the hand. The SCUF seems to fit my hands perfectly.
Definitely worth noting this for future reviews, really appreciate your input. 🙏
@@ChickenPopGames fatter, not taller from bottom of the handle to the bumper. Because I measured my ps5 controller to the envision and it’s taller
@@ergonomicLI feel this is what I meant by bulky in the hand. I’ve been switching between the PS5 and SCUF for a while now and I don’t even notice the transition anymore. Both are great controllers. 👍
I been considering the envision over all of these I’m still wondering if I should get the Xbox elite but the envision reminds me of the scuf vantage with the sax button and I loved that controller so much so I might pull the trigger and get the envision
I’m going to be releasing the SCUF Envision vs Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra in the next day or two, it maybe worth holding out for that 🙏👍
If you have big hands don't get it
which is best for small hands?
The Elite 2, Turtle Beach Stealth ultra or SCUF Envision would be my preference 👍
@@ChickenPopGames - thank you! I'll look into the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra. Unles the Elite 2 is different, XBox controllers don't fit my hands well, the last one I tried caused me problems. I really want a SCUF Envision but I've heard way too many reports of things not working right out of the box. I suspect it's a good controller - unless you get a lemon. I'm in Canada and would have to buy directly from SCUF and don't like the idea of having to ship it back.
whats the like mindcraft beat called?
I will look this up for you later 👍
I returned my Scuf Envision Pro after three weeks. Looks nice and feels nice including the click buttons but holy crap is the software horrible. The software would close out of nowhere which will not allow any inputs of the controller aside from basic movements. My gaming performance decreased with the envision pro + iCue, sadly. I really wanted to keep the controller but is the horrible iCue software that ruined it.
What a shame, I’m gutted you didn’t get on with it, did you go back to something else?
straight trash lol
This is pretty much the reason I don't want to buy it. Just like Razer the ass software ruins it.
U can program direct to the control instead of having to use icue
Bro has the ps5 controllers paddles in wrong
Someone mentioned this already, I probably only did this on the video. Thanks for the observation 👌🙏
@@ChickenPopGamesI've noticed that you are so nice, polite, and positive with your responses even when people purposefully call you out or be mean. That's class. I can appreciate that
@@bradcruise6291thank you, I’ve still got lots to learn so I take all criticism as a learning point. ✌️😎
Elite Series 2
Great choice! 🤙
Except it has a terrible defect in the bumpers where they will fail after a year. Also non symmetrical sticks are terrible
@@miliyn17it’s a really good point, I must admit the non-symmetrical sticks take some getting used to but each to their own I suppose. I think reliability was one of the reasons why XBOX decided up the warranty and to align it with the other brands but this is just speculation of course.
Thanks for your input ✌️🙏
Bro just get the pack for the series 2
Thanks for the comment, I had to buy it separately which would have cost a lot more money. This was due to the core colour white wasn’t available with it. Buying these controllers cost me a lot of money for the review 😂
@@ChickenPopGamesyou can buy cheap Chinese pack pretty much same as Microsoft pack but way cheaper
@@Decki777thanks for the advice, will definitely look at that 🙏
They all sucked, I have a Dualsense with an ExtremeRate Rise4 kit for like $45. All of these cost $200+.
None, Vader 3 pro
Definitely need to give this a go 👍
No we're talking. 😎
Can you use the scuff on the PS five
Sadly not. 😢
Scuf is notorious for using cheaper material and terrible customer service…the controller is lighter because of the ass material and it doesn’t have dual sense tech or the adaptable trigger sense…
Personally I’ve not had any issues with their products, one thing I will do though is report back if it fails on me. Thanks for your input 🙏
Turn off that damn music bruv
Noted 🙏
The Elite and Xbox controllers are crap, compared to the Turtle Beach Stealth. Bye Bye stick drift.
Just got Turtle Beach Stealth, will review it against the SCUF envision and post shortly. 🙏👍
Turtle Beach certainly don't suffer from stick drift, but the battery life is crap and the overall build quality is sub par.
Also, the fact that you don't even get a carrying case, for the price that you pay, is a complete scam.
all those garbage controllers are scams 💀
Not a scam, but it’s not good for price for performance
so are all these 200$ mouse/keyboards then
