I like elit2 because of 4 back buttons but the delay from when I hit and function, while not noticed by most I do notice . This is were the dualsense edge is better it's got low latency the only thing is the lack of 4 back buttons instead of 2

I bought a Vitrix back in March and haven’t used it too much, cuz I’ve been mainly rockin’ a custom Scuf Reflex Pro for PS5. I agree on the Vitrix trigger review; just a little too clanky, but the the back buttons and swappable capability is pretty sweet.

I just bought and received the scuf instinct! It’s great the instant triggers are the best i improved on fortnite so fast with the paddles changing my binds! nice vid carter ❤

Got a scuf envision pro 3 weeks ago and it's been great. I never bought a scuf before because of all the negative reviews I've seen online but I'm glad I pulled the Trigger 😅. The only downside is the software but it's tolerable like you said.

I had to return my envision pro due to icue crashing, I went back to my scuf impact pro….BUT after using the envision pro and all the mouse click like buttons, the other scuf controllers feel so mushy and cheap
I have a Xbox elite series two and the trick with the first problem is just bind both triggers the same like on the right I have it as b (build) and on the left I have it as y (pickaxe)

Honest question from someone that never used a pro controller whwn add extra button on the back does make u have 2 of the same buttons?
Yeah that’s right; I usually map top left as X, top right as O, bottom left as Square and bottom right as Triangle (on PS).
That allows you to still control direction and shooting during jumps and slides in games like CoD etc. Little bit of muscle memory but it’s honestly game changing for me and I highly recommend one..what are you using - PC, PS or Xbox? I had the Elite series 2 for the Xbox and had zero issues and a lot of fun with it! I switched over to PS5 and I’m looking at the Scuf Reflex FPS due to it having the 4 back buttons.
Yes you should map your dpad in the back so that you can use the rear buttons and Face Buttons without ever reaching across the controller to hit the dpad
does the scuf envision lose aim assist on those side buttons bound to keyboard buttons? Cause If I bump my keyboard ill lose aim assist until messing with it in settings again.

I have the envision Pro and the clicky triggers are probably some of the best you can find. They're excellent and I probably wouldn't use my Envision if it didn't have them as an option.

I still use my scuf impact because I love the paddle feel. I own a Reflex FPS that I use for COD and it is an excellent controller. I’m considering buying an Envision because those extra side buttons seem great to have. I’d bind it to switch materials which would help me a lot
Yea but you can’t use it on ps5 game versions the impact was the best scuf in my opinion
If you have your envision pro on memory mode you can map everything you need and it will run off the memory so you can close icue entirely and the controller will still work as normal
that is true, but if you have your side buttons set to scroll-wheel like i do they'll stop working if ICUE gets disconnected. Hasn't happened to me in awhile though, might be getting better!

yeah, that's another problem with Scuf. They have a thousand variants for each controller and most lack important features. And as the f****** make custom made stuff you can't even send them back.

My SCUF FPS broke in less than a year of moderate use. L2 has a platonic paddle that clicks the mouse key, it tends to Crack. No way to fix stick drift which happened to my controller within the first month.

I have the elite series 2 Xbox controller
ps5 dual sense edge is the best you can connect it to anything via dongle (brook) it hase touch pad , it has gyro , it has speaker, it has microphone and you can even apply tension via precision rings cost arround 5 10 bucks on amazon and it is cheaper to fix if you have stick drift so the only down side is battery and that damn stupid rubber at the back and it has only two back buttons but i normaly use just the two so it is not a big deal breaker for me

@YZDreamer not a bad budget buy then but I still don't want to use the dpad on my controllers I need at least 4 buttons. I've actually been switching over to 6 buttons It makes aiming a lot more calm as you don't have to flick back to the opponent from leaving the thumbstick. Battle Beaver sells 6 buttons layout or you can have extra buttons added to a controller that you have for instance I had two extra buttons added to my elite controller to make 6

@YZDreamer the key is finding a button layout that works for you, if the buttons are placed well then it feels natural. For instance I hold my controller thumb on thumbsticks, index on bumpers, middle finger on triggers and ring and pinky fingers in the back. 4 of my buttons are directly under my ring and pinky fingers, and then the other two are directly below the pinky finger button so I reach my pinky finger down to hit them. On battle beaver those positions are High, Low and Lower on both sides

@@chrisanytime1You are lucky. I bought one and it got stick drift in like 2 days. I'm really good with my controllers too and have had other 1s serve me for years like the razer wolverine ultimate. The elite felt good in hand and I really wanted to like it but I refunded it for a razer v2 chroma.
@@sonofgodraj I was just talking to my buddy. He's had two of the elite two controllers and he developed stick drift and they supposedly repaired it and sent it back and it still has stick drift so he's done with Microsoft. Lol I must be very lucky!
@@chrisanytime1 Definitely. I'm always surprised when people say their elite controller never gave them problems. It's a really good controller when it doesn't break down on you. Hopefully when they make their next controller they iron out all the problems. Hall effect thumbsticks would be dope.
@@chrisanytime1 80% or more of people who have bought the controller. some people get really lucky. but most people always have either stick drift or a bumper fail. theres absolutely no way to fix the stick drift either bc of how the controller is made. lol good for you though that you havent had the issues MAJORITY of others have had.

Not a single one of these controllers are worth buying, especially SCUFF - continuous stick drift on new controllers. I have gone through 2 of them within a period of 6-months.

ive been seeing and hearing the most positive reviews about the BFG. currently ordered and just rec'd a Vader 3 pro which feels great. no grip on it but has 4 back buttons (although 2 are awkwardly placed while other 2 are perfectly placed for slide jumps or crouch shots) , hall effect joysticks, clicky option for triggers for quick shots all for $79. but like i said thinking about BFG to have something for xbox and pc or maybe try razer wolverine but ive heard mixed things about that controller some really good and some really bad
@@sooperfy Used all of them, have a pile of them, no better controller (as far as controllers go) than Evil Controllers, just better built than any of these. Would never turn back and i own a few of them.

The Envision: You have a ton of buttons what sounds amazing. But you can not set them freely. The only buttons you can change functions on are the additional. And I wouldn't call that free change.
(I compare it to the freedom of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller where you can put keyboard commands on all keys...like for games that don't have controller support)
Sadly the Xbox Elite Series 2 I got had wobbly sticks.
Currently I'm back at a Logitech. Free layout and it's working. It's not the best. But at least Scuff is not stopping me from using the controller as I want because they think they are smarter than I and the basic keys shouldn't be changed.

Depends on your use-case I guess. I play Fortnite & COD on PC so gyro isn't useful to me & the left share button works as touchpad which is fine for a map, otherwise you have 11 other extra buttons you could put it on

Because your thumb won't always be on the stick so you can use any button any time
