The Worst RPG Ever Made

- There are a lot of terrible video games out there, but by far Two Worlds is the worst one I have ever played. That doesn't mean there aren't worse ones, but it can't be denied that this game is really horrible. So today I take a look at one of the Worst RPG's ever made.

The speed run for this game is legendary tho. Run straight to the end boss, kite him into attacking villagers, annnnnnd they all gang up and kill him for you.
Oh wow, if I had known that I would have been done with this video in no time.
Are you sure you know the concept of Bad Fucking Game? (Bad Fucking Game)
+schwarzkoch
I don't get the point of your comment. Did you just wanted to sound smart or something. Speedruns are speedruns, the genre of the game is irrelevant.
You make it sound so easy but there's that frame perfect jump over the fence that stops most people dead in their tracks.
I don't know man, but killing the big bad villian was your role and you just did EXACTLY THAT.........soooooooooooo
Once upon a time, Two Worlds was touted to be "Oblivion on Steroids"
More like Oblivion on Crystal Meth, am I right?
no
You don’t know how drugs work. Crystal meth woulda made it better than on steroids.
Vanilla Oblivion was already Oblivion on Meth, LSD, Cocaine, and every other Class A drug
Oblivion on Morphine.
Bloodied, Broken, and completely incoherent.
@@darrynmurphy2038 Implying that Oblivion with Shivering Isles is not just one single big trip.
I remember finding a resurrection spell in a random cave, which made every NPC, including townsfolk, friendly when revived. This sparked a global conquest of reanimating the entire map. Pretty fun tbh
You can use this to turn in quests apparently. I was reading a guide as I had gotten stuck and for a different problem where a questgiver died before tou could hand it in, you just needed to find his corpse and reurrect him. XD i can't confirm as I didn't have this issue but apparently possible which would honestly be really cool though likely not planned
@@Relevus Really? Whenever I used that spell on a questgiver, I would instantly fail the quest. I remember I accidentally got the mayor of Windbreak killed, and then I realized I need him to give me a quest, because his specific quest led to one of the elemental things. When I revived him, the option for the quest was still there (If I remember correctly, he wanted you to kill an ogre, or a troll, or something along those lines).
But when the dialogue was finished, _I instantly failed the quest._ He didn't die during the dialogue, either - the game just instantly failed me, simply because I used the resurrection spell on him. I even went and killed the ogre-troll-thing, and the game still wouldn't acknowledge it. I ended up having to reload an earlier save because of that.
Good times.
This game is like The Room of RPG’s. It’s trash, but there’s something charming about it. 🤷🏾♂️
Shashank Kaveti no its just garbage
There is nothing charming about this game... hah
Oh hygh DwagonBon!
True
@@sem6045 ah I see you are a man of cereal as well
Those are the saddest farmers I have ever seen. Their scythes are so dull that it does not even cut the crop. :(
nah mean theyre so sharp they cut right through them like fin air!
Remember back when it was about to be released. A mate of mine wouldn't shut up about how amazing it was going to be. Suddenly he stopped doing that, now I know why.
sure your friend liked kira more than the game itself
I had an employee at GameStop tell me as I was buying a copy of Oblivion, “you might want to wait out for this new game called Two Worlds. It’s gonna blow Oblivion out of the water.” LMFAO
Well Two Worlds is also a classic although in very different way...
So glad I never bothered with this I was tempted as people were hyping this as an oblivion beater luckily I was too busy playing oblivion
The same way The Room is. :)
Too bad im late to the party, but theres one thing i need to say about the game: yes, you can fuse two identical swords to make an even better one.
Guards in towns have, interestingly, all the same identical weapon. Luckily, Guards also respawn infinitely.
Would be a shame if someone abused this oppurtunity to create weapons with an infinite amount of possible damage, wouldnt it?
Well, i did.
бесконечно слаживать оружие не получится. Раз 20 максимум........
not a single entity in this entire mess of a game respawns, no wolf and no bandit, both in the steam version and the original
This is just false.
Nothing respawns, and I don't think you can fuse infinitely, It only worked 50 times for my staff and 10 times for accessories / robe.
@@LookaL2K When the game originally released you could stack infinitely, the limit was later patched in.

That fake accent went from Japanese to Italian. How...
Neither Japan or Italy exist in the Two World's universe.
Maybe that's just his specific fantasy accent.
@@stuflames4769 Nah, I think the voice acting's just bad
7:27
Woooooow it's like a botched Mexican, Italian and Japanese accent but all in one!
This dude sounds like the Nemodians from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
bought this game for the 360 brand new for 5 bucks in a local retail store, I loved the fuck out of it, and I'm a proud owner of the sequel collector's edition. There's something special about this game even tho it's broken and half assed at moments, it feels genuine and charming to me
Preach!
I adore eurojank games, so this is a gold mine for me.
I know why such hate for this game. I think it was really good. Maybe not great but it was fun
Played the hell out of this when it first came out. I tried replaying it recently - it’s total garbage, but I still had so much fun with it
I put sooooooooo many hours into the game. Honestly loved it as a kid and I wouldn’t trade that time
It's glitchy as hell, but for some reason when I played this years ago I loved it.
Want horseback combat?
Get Mount & Blade: Warband. It's literally in the name.
Or Sacred II, awesome horseback combat.
@@magnusnilsson9792 compared to the first sacred part 2 and especially 3 really suck, I mean where is my woodelf with multishot and spider arrow, instead I get that ugly ass dryad but even if you don't care for the characters you play combat skills reall suck, as soon as an enemy moves the skills miss
Nick Cassetta forward thrusts also work if you have a big enough sword.
They both even begin with harvesting season
Not Warband. Bannerlord. Warband’s horse combat is worse than Skyrim’s.
I had a friend who hated Oblivion but loved this game. We were all like: "lol wut?"
Haha that is definitely a little strange.
CiggyBones
I actually agree with your friend. Thing is, for me, it probably has less to do with which game is better and more to do with Oblivion being a massive disappointment (to me).
Morrowind was (and still is) my favorite game of all time. When Oblivion came out, I was expecting Morrowind 2.0.. but I got..well.. Oblivion.
So I hate(d) it. At least with this game, I didn't care if it sucked as it had nothing to live up to.
Same here. He hated TES games, but would bust nuts in his pants over Two Worlds and Two Worlds 2.
Oblivion was one of my least favorite games of all time. Enemy scaling ruined the entire experience. Fighting a rat at level one was the same as fighting a daedra at level 40.. and the chest loot, explore dungeons and caves only to find 16 gold and a breadroll...
Nope I hated Oblivion to so what
Not only did they make a sequel, but they have put micro transactions in it, 8 years after launch. Asked, why did they do that, a dev said : " Why not ? Everyone is doing it ".
Haha ya I heard about that. I can't imagine they made much money off of it though.
It's another company that bought the company who went bankrupt. So it's a new one continuing the tw2 story with dlcs while working on the next sequel, tw3 !
Got to love the honesty
They added the Micro transactions to TW2 not TW1.
Wonder if there is a modified version of this game that shreds off the unnecessarily stuff to give you a similar feeling to that of generic games such as TES, HG:L and more without the extras that fills you with doubts about even being a good feature to begin with.
5:45 are we not going to talk about this guy's wardrobe?
Hahaha. Good man, you made my day. That's some deep cleavage right there
And how its the same guy at 7:20 lmaoo
@@ImAman555 but with a Japaneezah akkasentto!
The graphics of this game are like.... Great value Skyrim
The reason they make you put in all that personal info is so they can hunt anyone down who says their game is bad...
Good thing I said in loved on tatooine.
The Cantina Haha! Doubt they have a star map
This was the first RPG I ever played and to this day remember it fondly, all the choices and paths you could take it was quite pleasing, I picked up two worlds two and sat it down after 20 minutes
This is my favorite game I played this for 2000 hours.
Ouch
Right this game was awesome
This game is definitely not awesome but definitely not shit
Same, I had alot of fun playing this game. I had more fun playing Two Worlds than I did playing Oblivion.. like Oblivion was fun but I had more fun playing Two Worlds.. quite enjoyed putting on the Orc disguise and infiltrating the siege camp too.
Anyone tried using the cheat codes on Two Worlds? Damn, I miss this game
Funny thing about the horses; even though controlling them is very awkward, if you level up your horse riding skill, you can literally just ride through a horde of enemies and kill them all instantly. It's that powerful.
It wasn't the WORST RPG ever...but good god, was it close. Still...I have this bizarre love for it that cannot be explained.
Antihero Broadcast my sentiments exactly. I knew it was shit a
But i enhoyed it anyway
When it came out I was so into it that I played 3 days straight with only breaks to eat and sleep. I still don't know why I got so into it because it was... bad.
I have a similar guilty pleasure in Battle Monsters for the Sega Saturn.
Things like the orc Disguise were awesome
I feel you bro, I feel you...
Blacksmith "Aye masta haw may I serve you" 😂 😂 😂 😂
I swear that I'm the only person that loved this game. And yes, I played Oblivion before it. The fact that I've started playing Oblivion again is probably part of the reason I'm seeing this channel pop up again.
I acknowledge most of the criticisms. The game is shoddy in every aspect and that's one (not all) of the reasons that I appreciate it. The RPG mechanics are beyond broken. Perma potions were insane. Magic was insane. You would die very quickly just by being shin-deep in water while wearing heavy armour. There was a skill for knocking people off horseback even though no enemies spawned on horses nor knew how to mount one. Something about this was just fun. It's not like Oblivion (its main comparison at release) didn't have balancing faults.
Then there were just a few things that went overlooked among this clusterfuck of a game which I find admirable. Firstly the game had a great deal of diversity which was reflected across a lot of the games elements.
-The world was huge and boasted a far broader range of biomes. Forests, jungles, desert, snowy mountains etc. The cities were also large and distinct.
-Same goes for the enemies inhabiting them.
-It had more armour and weapon models, including weapon types that were present in Morrowind and absent in Oblivion.
-They actually gave a fk about the faction system. Something that I hadn't seen repeated with as much depth until Fallout New Vegas.
-It even came with two online modes; which tbf were severely cut-down versions of the main game but still worth a little mess around with friends. Have to appreciate the effort of trying.
I'm just saying that the game had its merits. But it's hard to find them when you put the game back down so quickly.
I never thought I would defend the voice acting. I've always considered it to be among the top 3 worst for voices, but in retrospect I feel like they could have been salvaged with better animators. And a better head modeller.
I'm kind of late to replying, but as someone who's only seen this game second-hand, but played the sequel directly, I get what you mean. There's a lot of potential invested in this game, it just needed more time 'in the oven' as it where. There's something a good buddy of mine has always said about how they should go back and take bad or poorly-received games that had potential and remake them into what they deserve to be, and the Two Worlds series is something I firmly believe that holds true to.
The inventory system is my favourite from any game. A lot of the appeal to me was getting new armor and weapons and it just made you feel badass
I love the realistic way to hunt with the bow and the bear trap. Something I never saw on a game before it. Most of the games uses magic to catch the monsters, slow or even paralize. But here we do it in the most in realistic way, with all the real animation. Turns the class more fun and challenging.
TBF, Bethesda didn't kept the heavy armor preventing swimming since Daggerfall. Amongst other spells and features. I actually liked Two Worlds for it is. And I do agree that it should've been taken care of.
Also what he didn't realized that the cuts scenes was either completely missing or the game couldn't read it. Cut scene to the ending of the game.
Weirdly enough... I've always seen Two Worlds as being like The Room. Yeah, it's terrible, but it's like the kind of bad that loops right back around to being good.
Idk why the version you're playing is so fucked but in the version I have(xbox 360) everyone's mouths move and there's actual endings
I played this game in 2009 and it was already working great, this video is a scam, or his coppy is a scam. If only he would show the version that is on steam... this video would look so much different. But u know... he needs the views. Doesn't matter that his judgement is unjust, unfair. Doesn't matter that his coppy is some weird one and basically not the standard one. Who cares right, he got the views. M.I.Right?
Invocated Agitator wtf
The gameplay he shows is broken and completely fucked, nothing like the coppy you can buy on steam, nothing like the patched game i played in 2009. There were plenty of games that were broken on release but with patches they became pure gold. TW aint pure gold, as a whole at least, but it is pure gold as an exploration H&S game, the world is great, the amount of different and cool enemies is great, the shit i found in this game stuned me linke in no other game, when i thought i found everything in this game, i was finding something new, like the bamboo jungle full of ant people, or the necromage village in volcano land. Just fuck the main quest after you talk with ur sister at the second half of the land, across the river, and do everything else, and explore, explore, explore. One of the best games i played, despite it's obvious flaws. But who cares right, THE VIEWS matters.
I thinks it's funny on how it's like,
"I'm going to play this relay bad rpg that was super hyped"
the universe "give him the most janky copy known to man! We'll even make all the Asians in the Asian Village not Asian just just for him. "
@@osscreepy The ONLY thing bad about this game is MAIN (and only the main) story. Everything else is great, good, or at least decent. I remember how this game impacted me back in the day and i still remember my journey through it vividly, when so many other "aaa" games faded away being bland and forgettable. Also, i hate lies and manipulation in general.
At least Oblivion dialogue is funny.
LOL...remember Owyn in the Imperial City Arena? The best character in the game, voice acting and all. :)
at least oblivion is the best rpg ever tbh
Yeah Oblivion's voice acting was pretty funny
*O wait, let me try that one again*
Yeah Oblivion's voice acting was pretty funny
RawIsJoland Morrowind says otherwise
The beggars suddenly changing voices always made me laugh. "Spare a coin for a beggar? THANK YOU KIND SIR"
My teacher did all the combat animations for Two Worlds.
6:12 Hearing an unenthusiastic regular American voice say the word "mayhap" = pinnacle of perfection
No joke, I loved the dialog when this came out. It's so bad, it's amazing. The map was also pretty huge for the time.
I live for those sweeping orcs
Emily B I do too!
Then Fallout 76 was released
What storyline
In the purest sense of the word, Two Worlds was released in a significantly more playable state.
fallout 76 is still better than this game
@Davip Lond lmao
@Davip Lond Fallout 4 has really tight responsive fast gameplay But yes I agree the quests are bad. I think Oblivion is good idk why you'd compare RPGs that are totally different to Oblivion. You act if the dialogue in Oblivion is terrible , it's average , the voice acting in Oblivion weighs a lot writing down. The fact that I remember more characters names and lines from Skyrim and Oblivion compared to the other games you mentioned says something good. I think you're a bit harsh. I always saw Bethesda as going for a simple approach to their rpgs and I think that's why they're so accesible. Wether that approach is bad is up to the player. I see people compare Witcher 3 to Skyrim all the time which seems dumb. They set out to be something different, which doesn't make a game bad
Idk what do you think?
The Hobbit???
I am actually playing that game right now on my Laptop and having a ton of fun.
It was an okay game! Based more off the cartoon version than the book. But i loved it.for.what.it.was
It is one of my favourite games, overall. I've played it at least 7-10 times. It is definitely far from perfect, but just has something unique I've never felt with any other game.
I also have played it over and over again. However, Nostalgia n Shit. When I played it first, I was propably 7-9 years old.
Looking at it from a Distance, it may not be a bad game, but at most it's average. But since I have so many memories, it is still a hell of a lot fun. And any Potato can run it.
Wow Wtf?? Who the hell makes something like this? Seriously that menu registration?
I can bet that he searched the internet for the most fucked up version of this game tu buy. I had nothing like what is in the video in my coppy back in the days. Like his version is a crapfest (im watching characters im watching all the rest and had none of those problems) and mine(and most others) was a fine game. The version you can buy on steam is a great one.
I mean, he installs from a physical disc printed in 2008. Maybe he just happened to have it lying around and thought it would be fine, like it would download the most current update path or something? I am guessing it did nothing of the sort. The game probably thinks it's running in Windows XP.
Heh, you must be lucky, if this is the worst RPG you ever played :)
probably a millenial who never experienced "the dark times" you know, before BG...
Actually you're right
Everyone hates on the faces in oblivion. Ive always liked the cartoonish look of the faces in es4.
I never thought they looked bad. They always seemed to fit the 'painting' look the game's aesthetics had.

That "Asian" blacksmith lol 😂😂😂
im half japanese and i was in tears watching that XD
Well, Asia isn't a place in this universe, so there's no saying that he doesn't conform perfectly to his fantasy background.
I actually just recently played and finished this for the first time, I played it in it's native language, German and as expected the voice acting is SIGNIFICANTLY better than in english.
I actually don't think this is the worst RPG ever and found it to be oddly quite playable, enemies telegraph their attacks visually and with your little dodge, you can basically play the game barely ever getting hit. Then use Alchemy to permanently boost your stats into the stratosphere, all you're left with is a pretty standard RPG, nothing special but nothing particularly bad either.
At least for me, I think I've played worse. I'd give this one a 4.5 or 5 out of 10
Edit: There are ending cutscenes, the game is just too broken to play them xD
When I was a kid my local blockbuster used to have some games for sale, and I would always see this game on the shelf, never selling. I would often pick it up and look at the back, read the description and look at the screenshots and think, "Hm, this game looks pretty cool," but I never could commit to buying it, I would always get something else instead. I guess it was for the best! I wonder what happened to that one lonely copy of this game in the Rose Hill Blockbuster. Did it ever find a home? Or did it go in the trash when Blockbuster went bankrupt and that store closed forever?
Isaac hahah thats terrible and kinda funny. Was it bad in a fun "so bad its good" way, or just actually unpleasant?
Trust me, and buy the gamme for pennies when it's on sale on steam and YOU WILL NOT REGRET. Have no expectations and treat the game as a H&S exploration game and you'll love it. Don't believe the naysayers. Yes, it's not aaa title, it's a budget action RPG with tones of flaws but a damn good one!
I actuallly hated the main story, did it to the point of mitting your sister past the great river (middle of the entire map), but side quests and other side stories, like the rebelion were great.
I've played worse.... Two wolrds was actually quite fun, i never forget the song.. "suuuudenlyyyy, the world belongs to strangers"
Suddenly the heaven's split in twoooo. Behind the clouds behind the eyes it's hidden in the secrets and the liiiiies.
Yeah I actually listen it to this day, the soundtrack was actually nice imo.^^
Oh yes, the song was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!! One of the best action rpg's if you are not skychild (bootlicker who started playing rpg's since skyrim came out) and can look past it's flaws.
Oh god no. That song was suchhhh cheese. It completey made me WTF
Phil Peters that's because ure a pleb.
you made me legitimately shed a tear good man. I love this game so much
I liked the Hobbit.
Of course I remember it as a good game but I was 12 and thought PS2 had realistic graphics as well.
Biggest reason I loved this game is simply running into a town, killing people, and then reviving the whole town.
better animations than fallout 4 XD
aye the hobbit has a special place of nostalgia in my heart
1:57. So, uh, I guess they are still in the middle of harvesting several months later because their scythes don't actually do anything to the invulnerable crops?
Or maybe they are ghost and their immaterial scythes can#t do anything in the first place.
Man I remember some of the complete BS you could do in multiplayer on Xbox. It was the definition of untapped potential.
Like kill all villagers on a map, combine their weapons, reload the same map and do it ad-infinitum till you had a wooden stick that would hit for 10000+ dmg.
Or find a unicorn horn and use it to make potions that gave you +200 to all stats permanently.
The best one was when you planted Taint Shoot in a village it would spawn skeletons at night who not only killed the villagers but would then proceed to enter their homes and sleep in their beds. To this day, I've never understood what mad genius programmed their AI to do that.
4:02 Ben Swolo, is that you?
This was the first game that introduced me to RPG's, I know, not a great first impression into the genre. But because of that, it was so different to anything I had played, it made RPG's my favourite genre of games. I'm one of the few people out there who genuinely loved this game, and he's so right about the loot in this game, I haven't seen any other game do what they done and it worked so well. But the end, damn that was disappointing :/
Luckily for me it was star wars knights of the old republic. Lol
Which to a lot is considered one of the top video game landmarks for it's time and actually putting bioware on the map. It was pretty much the Witcher 3 with CD red but back then lol.
The difference between Two Worlds and Oblivion is that my sister and I can observe a glitch in Oblivion, have a good laugh at it, say in unison "This game is SO broken!", and continue on playing. The reason being is because there's so much lore and stuff to do that it keeps our minds occupied on the world and not the glitches (which I must say aren't always game breaking).
Two Worlds... not so much. But the song~ tho. *sheds a tear*
I never ran into any of those registration issues when I played this game on the 360....
The intro sequence is steaming garbage, I'll admit that.... BUT the game itself was great fun. Especially the weapon-fusing system. And I found at least some of the dialogue amusing for genuine, non-ironic reasons.
But Two Worlds 2? Yeah. THAT was just fucking atrocious.
Not gonna lie i beat this game and kinda liked it
Me too.
@@robertherrick6703 Me too
I was like 12y old when I played it, and I must had a pretty low standards for games bc I enjoyed it
It's really only the writing and voice acting that is bad. I found the gameplay to be fun and found myself playing this game for hours on end just exploring and combining gear and looting. The gameplay definitely had that good "Oh, whats that? I'll just check that one thing out after this..." kind of feeling.
@@Galiant2010 The bad writing and voice acting is a plus for me. More entertaining than some bland cookie cutter medieval fantasy.
From the landscapes it lookes like a dark, cheap oblivion clone
thought the same thing lol
Oblivion was a better game overall, but Two Worlds was the better RPG experience.
Dind't have internet at that time so my father had to call that activation number..
And after finishing the game I finally found out why I didn't understand the story as I found the cutscene-videos which never played during the game.

Oh my gosh great video. You always have great videos, and it’s cool to see someone who like RPGs just as much as me. Great job!

There was so much potential here, I hope there's some sort of community effort to mod this game into acceptability.
Wow. It turns out not picking up this game was the best decision I’ve ever made! *Pats myself in the back*
Haha ya pretty much.
Jay K. Patting *in* the back? How does that feel?
AlexDraws It's like patting myself on the back, but it's an inside job.
Jay K. Oh, *_ok_*
I have the opposite i used to listen to poeple saying its shit but after playing i gotta rank it in my top 10 rpgs.
“The worst RPG ever made” you must’ve not play a lot of RPG’s then.
i've played soo much worse crap... don't remember their names...
if a game is significant enough to remember it's name it can't be THAT bad...
@@Heidenspross Unless a game is so bad you remember its name specifically to not play it again
Or just checked reviews of a game before playing it :D
@Walt Disney and? What do you mean?
I've play my share of RPGs & I can say that two worlds is a bad one. One of the first enemy you encounter (in the savane) is literally throwing you its poop to kill you.
N64 looked way better! *Shows pre-rendered graphics* Me: You serious dude?
For the sequel they just had to name it “ Worlds Two” lol
Do Two Worlds two!!!!
two worlds two wasnt that bad, the ending though was bullshit
It got the best and most complex magic system ever made.
I loved the magic system, the online part of it was fun too. you actually got to play instruments that lots of rpgs lacked like skyrim
Yeah two worlds two was actually pretty good, I had a ton of fun with it. Ending is shit, true, but while it lasted it was fun as fudge.
I liked going against melee players in PvP. I would cast resurrection on me and would constantly kicked those modders down, then stab them in their stomach. they couldn't touch me. magic users on the other hand kicked the shit out of me.
6:23 - Two Worlds did it first, Witcher 3 is a copy-cat
I think what makes it bad isn't that it was made bad, it was made pretty good, Just a ton of stuff left unfinished and extremely rushed to be ready to sell.
That is crazy- a game with literally no ending- you don’t even get to save or reunite your sister or at least relish your victory over the bad guys? Dayum....
"The N64 looks better than this" *shows of the PC version of Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire"
Also... no ending? ProJared's review showed that it did on the 360 version. Interesting.
Yeah whats up with that there is at least two separate endings.
I think I know why. Notice when he starts up the game, it skips over the intro cutscene and goes straight to "several months later." I'm almost certain the intro and ending cinematics are pre-rendered video files that are failing to load. If you look them up, it seems like the character and environment models are the same they use during gameplay, but there's a bit better lighting and visual polish than you ever see in-engine.
I seem to recall having a few old PC games back in the day that had trouble showing me intro videos, and they just got skipped over like they are here. I had to go into the game's install folder and view the AVI file in Windows Media Player to see it.
I'm sure if he got the game on Steam or GOG it would be fine, but he installed it from an old 2008 physical disc, and it's entirely possible it couldn't access any modern day update patches. I'm kind of surprised he didn't have more issues, actually.
This game was a guilty pleasure for me.
I admit not the best game in the world but, it was those small things that you could find that made it magical. Such as the lost village, necromancer in the woods,, potions that boost your stats permanently on Islands, if you go island hopping you will find golem islands, most of all complete 100% freedom to do and go wherever the hell you want made it my favorite game as a kid.
you forgot to talk about the fact that if you purposely or accidentally commit a crime in a city like stealing, your only two options are to slaughter everyone in the city because they become permanently aggro'ed, or flee it and never come back. they didnt add a jail option and the npc's never forget for some stupid reason. I missed out on an entire city of quests because I accidentally grabbed someone's plate, and the game autosaved right then of course.
I actually liked this game. Had some interesting features for it. But by no means is it good, haha.
Beetle Taxes i also enjoyed the game.i ended releasing some creatures on a town killing everyone then found out i killed a main quest character.later in the game i found a spell that brings people back to life .so everyone survived afterall
sk8erdudedudedude yeah, for it's time, it had some great magic accessibility. Plus, it was something me and my little brother could both play together online. Which was broken, but really fun.
This showed up on my home page. I've never heard of your channel and I don't have time to watch it now. However because of the title alone I'm going to comment and like before I even get a chance to watch it.
Worst. Game. Ever.
10/10 shit RPG of all time
It sucked but I still played the absolute shit out of it, mainly just messing around with the cheat codes.
There was a robot fighting game on Playstation one that was advertised everywhere, billboards, magazine ads. A lot of money. But the game was broken, you could not kill the first boss, he regenerated health faster than the maximum damage possible you could inflict.
@@SvenTviking what is the game called? I think I may of played it
Dude, you should have more subscribers.... Damn, maybe around 500k to 1 million suits you better. I mean you are a good youtuber. Even better than some of those who have more than 1 million subscribers... I hope you will reach there soom dude. I only found you two days ago. And now I decide to subscribe, because why not? You are funny, a good reviewer, informative and most importantly, that sarcasm is killing me everytime 😂. Congrats dude, you got a new subscriber...
I really liked the freedom in this game. It doesn't handhold you or rail you off from killing whoever you want or railroad you away from the stronger enemies, and the world is large with lots of different looking areas. And you can make yourself insanely OP with alchemy pretty easily.
I read that the voices were provided by the developers, not a voice cast.
Can't believe this got a good rating in Germany.
Great video btw. :)
That would make a lot sense, it wouldn't be the first time a Dev did that.
Though the script is awful, you have to admit that their English is great. (they're Polish) :)
Im actually pretty sure the game was made perposly bad as a joke in some ways XD
Well, aside from the fact, that this game was created by a polish development Team and is distributed by a german Publisher (Topware) there are a lot of Things to argue.
First, the Soundtrack is created by Harold Faltermeyer, the same guy who made Axel F, the vocals of the starting track are from Amber Moon.
A difference between the german and the english Version is, that for the german Version real actors made the voice acting, lip sync is also more reliable in that Version. Among them the voice actors who frequently do the voiceovers for Patrick Steward, Daniel Craig and Christopher Lloyd.
Regarding the End of the game, please look at the folowing Video - there is an end sequence, why in your case it hasn't been showing you can only guess...

There are worse games to tear appart, two world isn't the best RPG, but neither it's the worst.
when you think of bad games to make a comparison to how is the hobbit the first you think of? fantastic soundtrack, great cell shaded visuals for the time, and fun and challenging gameplay, not to mention the levels you play through are very unique. Idk maybe its just nostalgia speaking but I think its at least a decent game, unless your trying to play the pc version today, then it might seem pretty bad lol.
this guy is only looking at graphics, mate. he isn't capable to see through the spirit of a game or to look at its challenge.
I replayed the game last year for the first time since its release and I have to say it's rather mediocre. As a kid I only reached the 2nd level, so only as an adult can I properly assess the full experience. Graphics are fine, the puzzles are good level design is commendable and the combat is ok-ish. I liked the iventory/how it gets bigger, how you have to play a minigame to unlock chests and how they made the dragon. Music is Hans Zimmer level of quality. Unfortunately, the AI goes between retarded (head-on battles) and genius (stealth). The poison effect is annoying and while it's a cool idea, no child will have the patience to manually pull a potion out of their ass to stop Bilbo from suffocating on his own saliva. Some levels, like the one with the trolls and the one(s) in Mirkwood are bad, just not fun. The ring doesn't really feel like an asset, which again, is how it should be, but having elves smell you from a mile away, not really my thing. Looking for secrets was rewarding, final battle was cool, I'd give it 5/10. It'a functioning game.
I played this back on the 360, the frame rate often dropped to single digits, especially when you played the multiplayer
I love this game so much - its like playing rpgs on serious amounts of lsd - I even got the sequel. The sequel is shit though - not enough meth was used in its creation
I agreee! I used to love this game so much when it came out. I played it all the time. The second one was boring though, I never finished it even though it seemed pretty decent on the surface.
@@Spartan8278 why is the 2nd one boring
The internet now has your address Mr. Wookie of Mos Eisley
The Hobbit was an amazing game.
I played Two Worlds before I ever even knew The Elder Scrolls games existed. My older brother had bought the game and I found it in the basement one night, popped it in the console and was somewhat amused for a few hours. Never played it again.
That loot system was amazing
U know.. now u have to play the 2nd one. :'D :'D
Also the advertisements weren't too bad for two worlds 2, willing to poke fun at themselves. I think it was dubbed the legacy of sordahan. Or such.
"Date of birth: 7"
I've never understood the hate for this game, okay the voice acting is bad, but the game is fun to play.
I guess it's just one of those games I loved as a kid to find that everyone hates it for some damn reason when I grow up.
It was something like "Gothic 3".
Date of Birth:
01. January 1901
*seems legit*
It's one of the best rpgs I've ever played in my childhood. But I also played oblivion that time and found this better so here is a comparison I created from my memories from 2008 (I haven't play this two game since then).
1. Fighting system:
Oblivion: Idiotic flailing with a sword or just shooting with a fireball.
Two worlds: It's not just pointless flailing in the air, like in Oblivion, nor jumping around like s big frog(witcher3 -risen3). It's real combat feeling.
2. Character development system:
Oblivion: As I'm leveling up, the environment is leveling up with me, so if I develop myself on the right way( heavy armor fighter), then it's not fun at all. If I'm interested in skills like thievery, then I will be eaten by a mountain lion at level 12 unless I stay in the cities.
Two worlds: There are places with weaker and other places with stronger monsters in the world. If I develop myself, I can explore places, which were too dangerous before so it's real advancement with real consequences.
3. The map.
Oblivion: If I leave the cities, the world itself is a big empty nothing with randomly generated boring and repetitive caves/oblivion worlds. So it's only the illusion of a big world. The other problem is that the world is not only repetitive but homogenous. So if I go to a cave near anvil, every monster will be the same as in cheydinhal.
Two worlds: It has a large, non repetitive map. Everything you can find was placed there by hand without the use of random generators, so for me it was less boring and more alive. The other thing is that if I go to Ashos, the atmosphere, the people and the monsters will be entirely different than near Tharbakin.
4. The npc -s:
Oblivion: The faces in Oblivion are ugly, unrealistic and scary. Same is true for the behaviour. If I go to the mages guild, they just walking unrealisticly here and there without any reason except when they eat something.
Two worlds: Although the faces are not the best and the ai is simpler, I didn't feel them strange, scary or even ugly about them. I cared about other things and this is the right way in an rpg.
5. Interactions:
Oblivion: Yes, it's better from the technical point of view. But there is nothing more strange than when I openly bribe the people who hate me and they suddenly treat me well. This is not happening in two world.
6. Quests
Oblivion: Except the main quest, the storylines really haven't related to each other. I was able to do the whole fighters guild quest line without minimaly caring about the oblivion gates. Because of this, I felt like I'm a bit wasting my time.
There were joke quest too, which were not funny at all.
Two worlds: There are no separate story lines. Every story line relates to the main quest. This is actually better, because I feel that there is some purpose in the game.
Of course there are unrelated side quests too, which are mostly about kill something somewhere.
But I'm a mercenary who fights against monsters, not a psychologist.
7: Overall feeling:
Oblivion: After doing the fighters guild and the main storyline, I felt like I just wasted my time in a randomly generated world. I didn't feel any real purpose except that I wanted to say that I'm done with the main questline.
Two worlds: The story was actually interesting for me andI was able to feel myself as a part of an rpg world. The other thing which really motivated me was the character development. While in the beginning, a simple boar killed me, at the end I was able to burn an army of ghouls.
To be honest, there were many problems with the character development system which made me op at the end with unlimited strength and mana, but the feeling when as an op character, without any cheat code, I can kil dragon with only one hit in a place, where I would have been instantly killed at the beginning.. This is what I really like about an open world rpg.
It looks like the npcs are aliens in human suits speaking out of their necks the way their faces are motionless and their necks are constantly moving as they talk.
A strange franchise but two worlds 2 has an amazing magic system
The BEST horse combat is in M&B Warband
Hands down!
@2:03 "Several months later".... after what exactly? is that seriously how the game starts hahah wow
Ha ha, I noticed that too! But actually, there is supposed to be an intro cinematic before that, as well as two different ending scenes. I believe they are video files that are failing to load, possibly because he's using an outdated version of the game and it's not playing nice with his current hardware, drivers, or OS.
@@0Fyrebrand0 it's something to do with the anti-piracy software they were using.
Very rarely it happens whenever your game code has been linked to a pirated copy..
The missing cut scene at the start is you and your sister running away from danger in the rain before stopping to rest, which is when your sister gets stolen..
Two Worlds: I am the worst RPG ever. *Fallout 76: Hold my Nuka Cola.* And I got a trailer for F76 when I clicked on this.
Honestly, I thought this was better than the elder scroll games. It's far more of an RPG than Skyrim.
I think I'll just stick to kotor.
Definitely a good decision.
dang i want to play it again it was so good, i think it was the first RPG i every played. edit: was i high when i made this comment or do i just suck at spelling.
I miss this game my brother got it for me when i was young
