Bomberman Zero is probably one of the most unforgettably embarrassing things to ever exist, the fact that that project was fully developed and released to the public is incredible (cuz there's a lot of games people put a lot of work in that never see an official release)
Nice list here. With the amount of bad reboots that exist today, I think this could easily become a Top 20 list. Here are some of my honorable mentions: Flashback (2013): Despite some gameplay improvements, this reboot lost the soul of what made the original Flashback so great. The main protagonist saying “Awesome Sauce!” is something I never want to see in a video game again. NARC (2005): This reboot tried so hard to be a GTA clone and failed miserably. The game also violates the spirit of the original arcade game by allowing players to make the choice to sell drugs for their own profit. Gods: Remastered: Why anyone thought people wanted a reboot of an old 1991 Amiga platformer is beyond me. Especially if said reboot actually fails to update the mechanics to make it more playable for modern gaming standards. The lack of mid-level checkpoints is unacceptable in 2023.
Some series aren't meant to be modernized. 2:02 At least you can still jump into the car in style. Spyhunter: Nowhere to Run and nowhere to go. Thank you for showing Frogger get shredded up. Just because you're the bad guy doesn't mean you have to be the bad guy. What? Yo wife was a mechanical arm!
Bionic Commando was awesome. And 1997's Frogger is 100 times better than the original in all aspects. I really don't understand the hate towards this game.
Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) may be loved by some fans, but even if it isn’t actually a failed reboot, it was rushed for development and became one of the worst games in the franchise and of all times and its gameplay isn’t even fixed, not counting fan update
Critics and players actually agreeing. Times were so similar back then. Ya there were bad games back then but know people will cry over every small thing instead of just having fun😂😂😂😂😂
I'm going to have to give it to the Saints Row Reboot and the SpyHunter game. Even though I played and have the Reboot Saints, to me the only thing that was good was the way we could color our weapons, Everything else Needed Major Work, I'm hoping the guys at Rockstar out do GTA 5 with GTA 6 with the weapons Customizing,More and better clothing (especially for Lucia, the female character) and better fighting. SpyHunter on PS2 was My main game when I had that console. If whoever brings that game back, they should stick with THAT style of Vehicle Combat.
Saints Row failed because it tried to cater to "modern" sensibilities instead of the brands actual fanbase. A common misstep in entertainment over the past few years.
@@mattalan6618i liked it too. I dunno why ANYBODY is taking the series seriously. The game did alot of things right. Was it perfect, nah, but its was really fun and the weapons and vehicles were different than the other gta clones.
I hope someone re reboots saints row and does it right the reboot did some stuff nicely like the ability to make ur cars rusty and offroad and customizing your aircrafts and all that but alot of the rest didnt do it right just hope it comes back same with mercenaries hope its old dev team bring it back and do it right someday
It was a fun arcade game originally, and the PS2 games were decent adaptations that made you feel like you were driving a bond-type car. But after Nowhere to Run, the franchise disappeared.
Golden Axe was truly a great video game, I even enjoyed the one called The Revenge of Death Adder. It's tragic that they did not do a good job on the reboot.
Alone in the Dark, while bad, isn't really a reboot. You actually play as the same Edward Carnby from the original game, even though those took place in the early 1900s. The game explains how but not why Edward is so different from his original incarnation.
Vigilante 8 Arcade for Xbox Live Arcade on 360. I was so excited for that reboot, but the gameplay was slowed down, the physics were terrible, and the cars could no longer turn in place like the original. It made the whole thing awful, and made car combat look even more dead as a genre.
The new Saints was a huge dissapointment. The character creator is good. But despite that it so bad. Even the sound quality when your free roaming. I tried to play it. Even gave it a extra chance but it could not grab my attention.
About of that video's thumbnail and FAILED videogame REBOOTS, I had Bomberman Reboot it was that BAD I sell it away because didin't like it BUT i'm interested of it's secuel Bomberman 2 and a Castlemode what looks really NICE! 🏰💣💥🔥
The only Bomberman games I really like was the adventure Bomberman games like for the Nintendo 64 Bomberman 64 Bomberman heroes they were my games I wish that they will come back I'm not really that fond of Bomberman that much I want to adventure games to come back
I think its funny that when they are bashing turok for "modern warfare style weapons" and on the screen its some obvious alien weapon. Is the game good? heck no. But i dony see no laser guns in modern warfare either😂
@mojoplays, I hope you know that, by law, anyone that mention Gokden Axe Beats Rider has to play the Giluis Thunderhead clip in which he says "by my balls!". Do better
Saints Row 2022 Reboot was just woke ass trash. "SpyHunter: Nowhere to Run" should get a remake with Unreal Engine 5.3. I actually enjoyed Bionic Commando and I own a Xbox 360 Physical Copy 😎.

I think the broken gameplay and glitches are the main draw to Sonic 06 in the current present day, but it was sure hated upon released

I liked Turok (2008). I know it doesn't hold a candle to the classic games, but it was cool. The only flaw was the sensitivity of the aiming controls.
I remember that Spy Hunter game with Dwayne Johnson. Apparently there was supposed to be a Spy Hunter movie starring him. That didn't happen though.
I think the movie was scrapped due to Midway’s financial crisis that shut down the company in 2009.
