So yesterday was my first day ever going out in public wearing "women's" clothes. Went shopping at a Maurice's and I was (at least to my knowledge) the only person in the store not AFAB. Was pretty nervous until one of the employees came up to me asking if they could help. She ended up being so welcoming and helpful it helped me relax and feel at ease and she helped me pick out some cute clothes too. I had the biggest smile on my face when I left it was so affirming. The biggest irony of this, however, is that antivaxxers were spreading the conspiracy theory that the Fauci Ouchie is feminizing men. What do they think taking feminizing HRT is going to do then?

The accidental use of non-gendered pronouns like they/them, you, etc get me everytime. It shows just how ingrained gender neutral pronouns are in the English language, that people use them without any thought. It perfectly demonstrates just how pedantic the grammar argument people are.
Wish non gendered pronouns were common in more languages. Maybe the younger generation can change it one day. Have seen some languages adopt new words for those that don't fall into the man/woman box.

This reminds me of the time I went to my Gynecologist (MtF) to get the transfer to the endocrinology (just health care related stuff in my countrie, thats why I had to go there). When I entered, the woman at the front desk was giving me really weird looks. Im 6'5, and I looked really out of place at the Gynecologist. When she handed me the transfer slip, she had this really nice smile because she read it and understood why I was there (transfer for HRT).

I like to argue. I argued with many right wing and conservatives about trans topics (afterall I am trans, even though I never tell them. Im quite versed in all the arguments relating my existence) You can present them all the facts, and at the end they just dont engage with you anymore, they just write stuff like "Im just telling the truth". Its like as soon as they notice that they are in the wrong, their brain shuts off and they declare victory.

I was in class and this dude outted me as trans and the other dude thought I was a transfemale. He said, "don't you have to be want to be a girl to be trans." And the boy who outted me had to explain it to him. He said, "oh". XD it made me laugh. He thought I was originally a guy.

This reminds me of the time I went to my Gynecologist (MtF) to get the transfer to the endocrinology (just health care related stuff in my countrie, thats why I had to go there).
When I entered, the woman at the front desk was giving me really weird looks. Im 6'5, and I looked really out of place at the Gynecologist. When she handed me the transfer slip, she had this really nice smile because she read it and understood why I was there (transfer for HRT).

I like to argue. I argued with many right wing and conservatives about trans topics (afterall I am trans, even though I never tell them. Im quite versed in all the arguments relating my existence)
You can present them all the facts, and at the end they just dont engage with you anymore, they just write stuff like "Im just telling the truth". Its like as soon as they notice that they are in the wrong, their brain shuts off and they declare victory.

The claim that all things are binary is so stupid, “land and sea” what about the air lmao? “Salty and sweet” savory, sour, there’s a million different things that could be used here. “Light and dark” sometimes it’s both at the same time, the sky can be dark but there’s still the moon and the stars making it bright. Things don’t have to be one or the other, all that does is constrict the human mindset and create this sort of box or ideal that people have to fit.
