I think you could have mentioned that there are 4 secret emotes which are unlocked by typing /emote in the chat. The four names are "jar" "taunt" "music" and "blush"
Y'all here's a tip : - Marnie is closed on Monday and Tuesday. - Robin is closed on Tuesday and sometimes Saturday. - Clint will take a day off on Friday once you fixed the community centre. Idk if it's the same on joja route since I've never done that.
secret tip: Robin is closed on Tuesday but the building is still open. She gets out of bed at 9:30 and walks to the door. If you speak to her when she is walking past the front counter, you can still shop/construct buildings even tho it's Tuesday 😎
My tip that I found super helpful: If you have tons of animals, hold down the item collecting button and don't let go. Every animal/truffle will be collected, and petted
@@lototheflo9640 I think they mean keep the button held as you walk around and any animal you walk past is pet/you pick items up, rather than having to stop and do each animal individually.
Here is a tip for people who want to redecorate their farm: If you have lots of space that used to be fields but you want to place paths there the digged up earth can be super annoying because you can't place paths over it. But you don't have to manually bring it all to it's original state with your pickaxe. Just use the menu at Robin's shop or the Wizard's book where you can move your buildings and flatten out all the earth by placing a building over the dug up ground. When you move it to the side again you'll see that the ground is now even. This can safe a lot of time and energy and isn't nearly as annoying as doing it all by hand!
1:09 one time I covered my entire farm in melons and watered them all with rain totems for an entire season, result was planting over 3000 melons and getting more than 6000 in return
Here's another tip for people who need hardwood fast but the hidden forest is still locked: Use a chair to skip the log, you can get the chair from your house and just place it at the other side of the log, you won't get stuck either when you plan on leaving Even if you don't need hardwood, it's still good for forages
I did this on switch day 1 hahahah for forage 😅 you can leave the chair the next day it’s still there, didn’t know it till 4 days, i thought my chair will be gone
You can also place a chair in front of Pam’s house, it won’t be destroyed and it’ll also make her walk faster, in my game she gets to the train at around 9:40 everyday (if i don’t also block her path at the bus stop screen)
I've got over 1000 hours in Stardew and I didn't know some of these. (For the processing machines, though, I put the "indicator" machines inside my house so I see them right away and don't bother going to my sheds at all if nothing is ready.)
I'm really surprised about the ducks swimming! In my first save I built the coop next to the little pond thinking they would use it, but they didnt. I was so disappointed. lol Maybe it only doesn't work with the standard farm ponds? Never used a different farm so no idea really. Concerning the tea leave bushes, that is where the mushroom cave comes in really handy cause you can turn all your countless common mushrooms into fall seeds and then use those for making tea saplings. I have seed makers right inside the mushroom cave for that reason.
To get the ducks to use the water, place the coop as close as the game will allow you. and most importantly, your ducks have to have a very high heart rate and they will only go into the water after you pet them I struggled for over an hour trying to get them into the water 😅
I discovered the duck thing by accident one playthrough. So now my coops are always by a pond because the swimming makes me so happy. Also about to log in and go make friends with Caroline.
I already wanted to get ducks near the pond on the 4 corners farm, so now I'm looking forward to it sooo much (and to the beach farm I wanna do in the future with Elliott as the bachelor I marry)
Does access to water raise a duck's happiness? I saw mine swimming by accident; I had Harvest Moon flashbacks the first time I played SV so I keep my animals fenced in on my hilltop farm 😂
I have a blob fish pond that I get pearls from. It’s not very often but I currently have 8 pearls just from the pond alone and I just finished year 4 and got the pond and blob fish in my second year. Also, get a rainbow trout into a pond asap. It’s another way to get prismatic shards. Not very often but I have 4 from my pond after setting it up in my second year. That’s more than what I got mining (I don’t count the shards you get on the island). I always carry around an iridium stared rabbits foot (not sure if it actually does anything significant but I always do).
One thing I do a lot is in the early game, whenever I’m in the mine and I’ve already found a ladder/stairs, I’ll go around and collect all the candles. I think it’s much better than using sap and wood early game since you need wood for basically everything and sap for fertilizer. I then leave the mines and on the way home, place candles on the path home so that I can see until I get a glow ring. ALWAYS get the ladder FIRST before getting the candles.
Ive never heard of this game before or even imagined myself playing a game like this if I’m being honest.. this game is super addicting! I just started playing like 3 days ago and I can’t get enough of it haha. I’m always trying to free up my time so I can get back to my farm 😆 thanks for the tips

Just so you know, star quality doesn't change the value of an artisan good made from it. If you're not processing all crops, sell the high star ones and process the low ones.
The best tip I have is: if you wanna make a fenced orchand, plant the trees and let them grow before fencing them. For some reason a few of the saplings just don't grow when near a fence and some do so yeah
I got a little aggravated when I started my first few fruit trees and I would get the notification saying trees didn't grow overnight; I forgot that if anything is within the 8-square radius before you sleep the tree won't grow so I'm thinking about putting fences around them; I spotted some grass and fiber plants popping up by my pomegranates
Here's a little thing that might make the hammer glitch less tiring for your finger: Instead of right clicking then spamming the left click button you can right click and than just hold down the left click. it might not work with a touchpad though.
I'm not usually a huge fan of these videos but you struck a good balance between things your average player likely wouldn't know, and things that they'd still likely have access to or need!
I knew most of these but some of them I didn't know. I'm definitely going to place my ducks near the pond and from now on i will be definitely holding seeds while harvesting. Never knew that would let me replant the seeds while harvesting that's awesome.
I didn't know a couple of these - thanks! Also, your happy voice always makes me smile. I would happily listen to you reading a dictionary. Thanks for the video!
For early money, I do this: I plant the 15 parsnips and pocket the 500 gold. I chop whatever wood I can on day 1. Day 2, I chop wood till I have 350 - enough for the bridge and a chest that I can take with me. I get my trainers fishing rod and fish at the mountain lake. That night, I sell everything I possibly can in the shipping bin and pray I'll have enough for the Fiberglass rod (that's why I saved the 500 gold). If I don't have enough, I would just fish at Willy's probably until I do. Then I fish some more, but I don't sell any more fish until I reach lvl 5 fishing for that bonus sell price of fish. This is just my approach to the first couple of days.

Is there an equivalent to the shift key to move items to the community center bundles on the Nintendo Switch?? This would save so much time! Thank you!
Hello! I've just been getting into stardew valley and I'm in summer year 2, and I love it! I love your videos so much, they have helped me and they are so entertaining! Also, your voice is amazing! Please continue to make amazing stardew valley videos 😁
So what I’ve learned from this. I just got the game a momth ago, finally completed the community center on my third or fourth playthrough and got the boat to ginger island. But I still have a long way to go.
I usually keep a note on my phone telling me when everything is done. From crops to processing to crystalariums to tappers, I write it up and keep track of everything.
Regarding all the time-saving tips: imma just install the time-stop mod. I don't actually like over-modding this game too much, but it does require a couple of tweaks for maximum enjoyment. Like the fishing minigame fix, for example.
I'm having fun with intro music, trying out a couple different tracks that DDLC song is so catchy, but yeah It is a little bit weird for a stardew valley video 😅
Crab pond is actually a very good tip. Thanks ♥ I usually rely on my hardworking Blobfish to give me pearls :) I place Furniture in town to make villagers run. They only destroy craftable items and supplies when they walk through them. They do not destroy Furniture. In some of the profiles I played Pelican Town looked like a sprinter camp :)
Very helpful because I love fishing... And keeping crabs as a pet in the fishponds... But the Qi's quest thing makes my goal of gold starring all the legend fish possible so good to know
I remember telling people you can catch more than one Legend II and they told me I was lying, I even showed them a picture of my inventory with 2 Legend II haha
wow... she mentioned the tip i gave her! noice! lol. (#4) tip #1 surprised me. i learned something new and VERY HELPFUL. tip #5 was also news. tip #8 is handy info tip #10 is a timesaver for sure and the bonus tip is news for me about the quest (havent reached that point ingame myself) and i was wondering if it was possible to recatch the legend. glad to know its possible and a great source of money when bored lol.
Yes! I didn't know about that community center trick, and I felt like an idiot because it makes so much sense ! Especially since shift click works for chests
been playing stardew valley for weeks now and i'm addicted and got sick from playing too much and eating less watching ur vids helps me a lot on the game 🔥🔥🔥
The great think about tea saplings is you can plant them in your house and they don't need water meaning you can spam them down all over and not have to worry about them until the last week of the season.
@@Isabel-oy1mo It's cool if you want tea but I'm currently trying to get as many crystalariums as possible as they seem to be the most profitable per tile.
i havent died in the mines yet but one of my friends said you can BUY your items back at the adventurers guild (its at the right side of the mine enterance)
playing with my gf in coop just make some of this tips obsolete there's just so much more freedom in solo, time won't even pause when browsing the inventory so thinking ahead during cutscenes rly helps
Tip 6, u can also use stairs/elevator reset technic by go to upper floor after done hoeing, wait min, then go down and the soil will reset, save a bit of time and energy
Fun fact: If you go to the chat box and only place [174] you get lewis Juding you. Honesty any item code is a different character. BUT if you put "/Cheat" Concernedape will reply with "Nice try..." ... and after doing so going to check you're fortune via Television it will say the "spirits are annoyed" therefore luck isn't on you're side... I'm pretty sure ConcernedApe is classified as a spirit.
Another way ro get a perl if you go to the mermaid show on the Winter star theres shells on the side of the stage. after the show is over you'll be able to click on them to make noise do in this order 15423 you can get a perl you can also find this out in a secret note :)
Time does matter for sure but my time is more important than in game time so I'm always looking for ways to make passive money for example you can get a slime hutch and fill it with slime and then just sleep for a week.
Can you also please make a video about the various Stardew valley clones like Staxel, and maybe the games that inspired it (like harvest moon)? I'd love a video like that. Also great tips, I knew the tea plant was good, but not that good lol
The ducks are very cute, however it's also a problem when the ducks refuse to leave the water for days on end, sleeping outside where I can't reach them. We fenced off the water for the ducks after that
That's really odd. I've never seen them stay in the water for more than a few minutes and they always go into the coop at bedtime like all the other animals.
I feel like these tips could be useful but I'm only on year two in my first playthrough. I have no clue what I'm doing and more than half the stuff you've talked about I haven't gotten to yet >.

I just did it by accident the one day, and my eyes were finally open to the possibilities!
What is the equivalent of right click on switch?
@@Ben-xg6yo I'm not sure I'll let you know if I find out!
@@nonbinarysamurai6707 ok thanks!
@@Ben-xg6yo It seems like pressing on the right stick does it! Im not completely sure but I think that's it
I remember telling people you can catch more than one Legend II and they told me I was lying, I even showed them a picture of my inventory with 2 Legend II haha
i knew all of these but the legendary fish one, omg i didn’t expect to learn anything but i did thank you
Wow! These are great tips!! Yes, even the duck one 🦆 Great job putting this together 👏🏼
OMG the ducks ! I'm so doing that in my new playthrough !!! Thanks :)
Next playthrough: DUCK POND FARM!!
wow... she mentioned the tip i gave her! noice! lol. (#4)
tip #1 surprised me. i learned something new and VERY HELPFUL.
tip #5 was also news.
tip #8 is handy info
tip #10 is a timesaver for sure
and the bonus tip is news for me about the quest (havent reached that point ingame myself) and i was wondering if it was possible to recatch the legend. glad to know its possible and a great source of money when bored lol.
Yes! I didn't know about that community center trick, and I felt like an idiot because it makes so much sense !
Especially since shift click works for chests
I play mainly on pc but I recently purchased it for switch. So I can play anywhere (work) now.
These tips are already a huge help
been playing stardew valley for weeks now and i'm addicted and got sick from playing too much and eating less watching ur vids helps me a lot on the game 🔥🔥🔥
Stardew is great but take care of yourself.
Please, be careful, you and your health come first. Stardew isn't going anywhere, you can take things slow. It would be a much better experience.
Probably never gonna get this far in stardew valley, but wow! I didn't know there was that much in the game!
I love that you have the DOKI DOKI music in the background 😭❤️
I just started my first playtrought and starting year 1 I feel intimidated by this video but it's really cool to see how far you can go in the game
Year 2*
The great think about tea saplings is you can plant them in your house and they don't need water meaning you can spam them down all over and not have to worry about them until the last week of the season.
Do you plant them in a garden pot?
@@Isabel-oy1mo Yep.
@@matthewtalbot-paine7977 :o I had no idea!!!! That's genius because i ALWAYS forget to check my tea tree when it's time to harvest them.
@@Isabel-oy1mo It's cool if you want tea but I'm currently trying to get as many crystalariums as possible as they seem to be the most profitable per tile.
never knew the tip with willy... always something new... thanks lilly
3:24 and the secrets emotes ?
(Jar, taunt, music, blush)
7:49 that was really smart, i love it
You have really good tips. That tea sapling is a game changer!
Great tips! Though of myself as quite the experienced player but still managed to pick up some thing here, thanks again ezlilyy!
i havent died in the mines yet but one of my friends said you can BUY your items back at the adventurers guild (its at the right side of the mine enterance)
You can but the prices are ridiculously inflated, unless you’re dying to have something back I just let it go
You can only buy back ONE item (or stack of that item). Rarely worth it.
playing with my gf in coop just make some of this tips obsolete
there's just so much more freedom in solo, time won't even pause when browsing the inventory so thinking ahead during cutscenes rly helps
There are some benefits to playing in co-op!
Both are great to be honest
Tip 6, u can also use stairs/elevator reset technic by go to upper floor after done hoeing, wait min, then go down and the soil will reset, save a bit of time and energy
You don't actually have to wait at all, just exiting the mine by elevator or staircase resets it.
yeah but then the rocks/monsters reset too and you’d have to mine back to dirt spot or kill any aggressive spawns and waste energy
The first tip immediately blew my freaking mind, nice!!
These are all actually excellent tips! Thank you!
Thank u so much for the tip about swimming ducks! This is so cute! 😍🥺
Fun fact: If you go to the chat box and only place [174] you get lewis Juding you. Honesty any item code is a different character.
BUT if you put "/Cheat"
Concernedape will reply with "Nice try..." ... and after doing so going to check you're fortune via Television it will say the "spirits are annoyed" therefore luck isn't on you're side...
Tea method will be more popular. Nice!
Oh my god! I did not know the one with "extended family" quest. And I would never now if it wasn't for you! :D
Where’d you come up with the percentage? 😂
That sapling tip sounds super good, I'll try it!
OK, ya got me, the duck tip was cute, and i didn't know they would do that
I didn’t know a lot of these!! (Like the giant crops) 10/10
The duck tip is super cute I'm gonna use it definitely! 😍
I have 300 hours in Stardew and I have never heard about Willy giving you a pearl for the crabs!
I see, you upload at 12:00AM in my country
2:45 i thought she was gonna say “block that b*tch” 😭😭 lmao!
I've heard you can also block Pam by putting chairs in her path, rather than by standing in her way.
Yo this is really helpful!!! Thank you so much ezlily!!!!!
Glad you found it helpful!
Time does matter for sure but my time is more important than in game time so I'm always looking for ways to make passive money for example you can get a slime hutch and fill it with slime and then just sleep for a week.
3:01
playing Minecraft for years train you to press shift whenever so I knew this way before
Can you also please make a video about the various Stardew valley clones like Staxel, and maybe the games that inspired it (like harvest moon)? I'd love a video like that.
Also great tips, I knew the tea plant was good, but not that good lol
For tip 4 do you know what button works for PS4 or switch?
If you fish during stormy weather at the ocean docks I personally usually get purple and gold fish!
How do y’all have such output together farms?? Mine feels so small and it’s sucky
I have no clue what I'm doing and more than half the stuff you've talked about I haven't gotten to yet >.
thanks for that caroline tip. I really appreciate it. :)
Was just watching your hopper video when I got this notification
Notification Squad!!!
Why do I think of Archer when I see that "bus driver"?
PAAAM!!
