Love it! Melt and pour is a SKILL!! I’m a cold process soaper, and I’m intimidated by M&P!! Love you say how to make soap without MIXING lye. Big distinguishing word, hope people don’t miss it 😉
Thank you so much for the comment! I’m shocked to hear a CP maker would be intimidated by MP 😊 makes me feel much better.. thank you!!
Great to see she's thriving in soap! Been checking her out for few years already.I find her project's to be extra pleasing to the "eye balls" Some RUclips's tend to hold back on their secrets but this one shares:) and that is very much appreciated.
Too much talk in the beginning. I wanted to know what she used instead of lye but she never got to it so I'll skip watching the video and find another tutorial.
Hate tutorials when its not straight to the point. Creds for not using music tho, thats a good first step
Your soap making techniques are really amazing. I liked the video very much!
Thank you so much!!
@@EleveHandmade isn’t fragrance oil still fragrance? Can we use essential oil instead?
Awesome video, new hear and just learning about soap
Well thanks for stopping by! 😍
New to your channel. I was searching for a soap recipe that did not use powdered lye. I also am sensitive to some soap ingredients. This way I can make my own. I want to try feverfew. Thank you! ~ Diane
Hello! Melt and pour is a great option if you don't want to mix lye, however, it does still contain lye.
This is great and super helpful....thank you soooo much.....blessings to you....xo
I’m so glad! ❤️ thank you for stopping by!
This is beautiful! I really wanted to learn cold process but I live in a close quartered apt with animals so didn’t think mixing lye would be best..
I totally understand that. You definitely need great ventilation to keep everyone and your pets safe!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
You’re welcome, I have another one of these coming up shortly!
Thanks for this video! What would be the average lifetime of the soap? and the soap base does not have lye?
Hey! A good shelf life for melt and pour soap is 6 month. It does have lye in it, the difference is you don't melt the lye, it's already done for you!
I certainly enjoyed this video. I am new to soap making. What are you spraying on your molds?
Thank you! It is isopropyl alcohol 😀
@@EleveHandmade what does the alcohol do?
Hello. Where can you get the pre made in the big bag ?
Hello there, it was from Brambleberry!
How can you ship the Melt and Pour bars to customers without them melting during the mail process? Great video love it! 💕
Hello! I’ve never had a bar melt before, but you could buy individual ice packs from uline to keep your package cool!
@Sarah & Elévé Fine Soaps Thank You so much for all your help as always!! ❣️
How much soap base did you use to make the soap bars?
So does the melt and poor soap base, not contain lye pre mixed then?
Yes , the bases contain lye. The videos are made with people that don’t want to mix it, in mind 😀.
Has the big blue block of pre mixed soap had lye added?
Pre-mixed in, yes!
What is the base that you melt called?
There are several you can choose from, I personally use triple butter melt and pour from Stephenson :).
I can’t find where I can buy your stuff??
Right now I’m only taking wholesale orders, I explain it in todays upload!
Where do you buy your soap base?
Wholesale supplies plus is a great starting point!
Yes I find I can't do good swirl effects with melt and pour unfortunately 😢
I know! This does really stink. Far less decorating options 😢.
How much soap base did you measure to make the 6 bars?
I believe it was 24 ounces, I usually do 4 ounces per bar!
Thank you
Love the soap! Will the Orange Slices Mold when the water gets to it? Or will it be ok?❤
Great question, no they have been preserved so they shouldn’t!
@@EleveHandmade Thank you so much!
I've heard you can make soap with baking soda
That’s not soap but you can wash with it if you want. You can also make a Syndet bar soap with surfactants but technically that’s not soap either. They mean saponified oils is soap but it doesn’t really matter.
I’ve seen people talk about it but don’t think that’s the way I’d go. I read a few articles that say baking soda soap is great for washing clothes.. I would definitely need to do more research before suggesting it though!
What is the base? Goat milk?
I use triple butter when making melt and pour. It’s Shea, cocoa and mango butter 😀
Please please and please change the misleading click-bait title.. please? Clearly you understand that the product you are making, has lye in it. I don’t think the title knows
I think the soap base is made up of lye and oil
Please slow down when teaching you talk fast, I enjoyed you just to fast.
Thank you for the helpful criticism, I will do my best!!
Stop waving your arms around
No.. I’m good
