Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.

Aww!!! So sweet! That right there is the most rewarding thing on the farm! Thats why spring is my favorite season cuz thats when all of our babies are born. Thank the Lord y'all were able to help and everyone is healthy! It is really scary! We have had that happen with cows, sheep, goats and I have even had to help my sow! My husband, bless his heart, even gave mouth to mouth to a lamb last year! Haha! Bless you guys! Congrats!

The good Lord gave animals instincts on how to care for their young, even first timers. Most of the time they listen to Him. Good job on getting the baby out before he was lost. He looks like a strong fine buckling. Lucky that he's polled (from what I could see he appears to be). May the rest of your does kid out problem free.

We didn't have time for a vet. He would have been dead by the time anyone got to our place.
I was thinking more in the way of advice, but you clearly handled it! It's really remarkable that you happened to check on them when you did ❤️ I can't help but feeling there was another hand in this. Princess looks like such a lovely mother too.

singleman and LTH Awww Thank y’all so much! I just don’t see a reason to be hateful or mean for no reason, plus I truly feel joy when good things happen for good people. There’s enough nastiness and negativity in the world. I just can’t understand that. If one is unhappy with their lot in life, fix it or else have enough self respect not to impart that nastiness onto someone else. It’s simple decency. We don’t always have to agree or like what someone else does but we don’t have to be rude, disrespectful, ugly, whatever either. I enjoy watching and chatting with folks. Most really don’t mean any harm they just want to help or share or even just chat a second. No harm in that. I’m yappy...as if no ones noticed...hahahahaha...I just enjoy good people.
