I'm starting to itch watching you cut that okra...such memories..get a light long sleeve shirt to keep from getting too itchy. Wonderful memories from when I was younger.
I just love you guys.I have just started watching your videos like a day or two ago, and I am so hooked.I have learned so much about so many different things.Thank You.Keep doing what you are doing.People like us appreciate your hard work. Many Blessings to you
I would put cow panels around on the inside of that barn. It would do so much more to protect the sides and you wouldn't have to worry about preditors sneaking as bad.
love watching your vlogs, you both tag team well/ the baby turkeys seemed as though they are going to love their new home/ can't wait for the dairy cow to be added to your family
Haha those ducks know how to party!! When the lights (sun) goes out they go home. Haha those ducks reminds me of some people who never want to leave the party until you cut off all the lights and hide the remaining food.
Thanks for letting us in on your magic number for a years worth of green beans and how often you eat them. It will definitely help this beginner plan better! 😁
What no midnight marshmallows for the piggies...not right! Lol, Blessings and simply wonderful the sounds of the night and then the slow awakening of the day. God is Good!!
One year, I harvested the greens of amaranth (red root) at my brother's farm and froze 50 quarts. We love to eat amaranth, and lambs quarters greens. We also eat purslane in salads. It is highest in omega 3 oils of any known edible plant. I would love to see more close ups of foliage because I love to identify plants.
A great video ! You guys are so kind as people, with the animals, you take care of your land ( which is stunning ). Very nice :) The ducks arent ready....we will come back- very sweet !
What a great video. You sure pack alot into each day. You're doing a great job and your love for your homestead shows. Blessings to you and the family. 😊
Loved this video~ was watching it and remembered we are supposed to get torrential downpour in the morning, and we hadn't put our goats or 3-months-old steer calf under shelter, yet ! They frequently stay out if it will be nice, but not a downpour.
What a beautiful song, Good man! How beautiful to see that you found a good man, and that you appreciate him for what he is for you! I also have been blessed with a Good, Christian man, God bless your marriage and your family!
Invariably when I keep only one male of a group of poultry, something will happen to that male. I have started keeping a backup male of the more rare breeds.
I guess if I need to find my home at night I should become a duck plus who doesn't like a good tastin' bug. You guys have the spirit and values of what made/makes America Great! Thank you for this channel.
I hope that you are putting a little bit of salt in your water. I do that when I was outside working. It helps when you are sweating. Old timers thing to do.
Kevin & Sarah, thank you as always for the video and for all the hard work to allow for all of us to travel along on your journeys. It is always such a blessing to see the homestead and all the livestock. Glad to hear an update on the family cow and hope that things worked out with the tractor. Perhaps sometime this fall or winter there could be some videos regarding the financial areas on the Homestead. We know that you all are very frugal with finances, however, there are many expenses with life and family responsibilities along with homesteading. This is an area that you have covered before and perhaps you would be willing to share additional experiences and wisdom gained since. God Bless and thank you again, Rob S. (Rockford MI)
Great video ! Do you have the cow and goat barn anchored well ? Also, please close the bottom of the shed to prevent coldness in the winter from getting at them. It would be a great idea to have doors on it...preferably Dutch doors so they can be enclosed for warmth and also air circulation ...Thanks for sharing and God Bless you and your Family... :) xoxo
We go through this same routine every night. We have 3 geese that insist on being tucked in. If they are already in their pin, they come back out when they see us so we can put them back in. They are such creatures of habit.
A pure joy to watch you and your FAMILY do farming. I can't do that anymore I broke my back, So I really ENJOY you guys working the HOMESTEAD. Thank you and GOD BLESS.
Hello I'm a new Subscriber. I do not live on a homestead but just love to see how homesteaders survive and live. You all rock it . ty for letting me in your life style. God Bless
Out of all the homesteading videos I’ve watched, I love yours the best. You are so down to earth and real, it’s like visiting with family. I always look forward to coming home from work and watching your videos! 💕
Liked the video your garden is beautiful! It is very hot and humid where we live Pennsylvania about 40 miles from Philadelphia! It is to be like this until next week!
What a great day on the homestead. Turkeys running free, ducks eating bugs into the night, securing the barn......whew! And it was a hot one! Good work you two! Many blessings from Louisiana, MO!
This is silly, but of all the things you showed us, I loved seeing 2 fireflies. I'm in Seattle now, but used to live in Michigan. I miss those fireflies!
I keep seeing fireflies in the background. I used to love catching them when I was a kid. Love Kevin’s T-shirt’s. Listen to all the noise from the insects.
@jody tejeda you really shouldn't put that much(or so personal) information on the internet. Perhaps a private message or in an email, but not where anyone can see, and use it! Without even having to log in!please, please, PLEASE use a bit of caution when you use the internet!
Awesome just awesome video you guys are just great and just keep the tomatoes watered and they will recover don’t take off the suckers and you will have a great fall harvest of tomatoes
If you will prune off each okra limb after picking the okra pod your plant will grow faster and put off more okra. Tidbit from my granny.
I'm starting to itch watching you cut that okra...such memories..get a light long sleeve shirt to keep from getting too itchy. Wonderful memories from when I was younger.
Clip one wing. Got it! Thank you! ☺️
Yay for the turkeys. They sure seemed to enjoy the outdoors.
My favorite couple.
Greetings from New York
Baked cookies while watching this video. Such a wonderful video like all your others. Thanks!!
I just love you guys.I have just started watching your videos like a day or two ago, and I am so hooked.I have learned so much about so many different things.Thank You.Keep doing what you are doing.People like us appreciate your hard work. Many Blessings to you
Kevin, love your T-shirt.
I LOVE your property and garden!! Everything is so meticulously well maintained and bEaUtiful!
I would put cow panels around on the inside of that barn. It would do so much more to protect the sides and you wouldn't have to worry about preditors sneaking as bad.
Or a foot/leg sliding underneath. Those sides are SHARP!
THATS the only part that concerns me(a bit.)especially with steel siding😬🤞🤷♀️
love watching your vlogs, you both tag team well/ the baby turkeys seemed as though they are going to love their new home/ can't wait for the dairy cow to be added to your family
Haha those ducks know how to party!! When the lights (sun) goes out they go home. Haha those ducks reminds me of some people who never want to leave the party until you cut off all the lights and hide the remaining food.
Love fried okra. Good with fried green tomatoes too. My dad used to put out a huge garden every year. I really do miss it.
The turkey’s ate that vine straight away 👍
Look at you guys, upping your production values :) Love it! keep up the great work!
Thanks for letting us in on your magic number for a years worth of green beans and how often you eat them. It will definitely help this beginner plan better! 😁
The fireflies were awesome as you were taking hay to the boy goats, also the tree frogs are very vocal. We have those in central Texas too.
I LOVE YOUR SYSTEM!!! AND YOUR WILLINGNESS TO SHARE!!
Your property is beautiful and so serene in the morning! Isn’t God good!
Always!
I had two young chickens stay out after the sun went down chasing lightning bugs. It was really dark before I could get them to go in.
I love the fireflies!!!
Yes ty we love it
What no midnight marshmallows for the piggies...not right! Lol, Blessings and simply wonderful the sounds of the night and then the slow awakening of the day. God is Good!!

Thank you, did NOT know any of those things!
Well, i knew purslane was actually good for you, and not just an annoying weed. But thatscabout all. Again, Thank You!
A great video ! You guys are so kind as people, with the animals, you take care of your land ( which is stunning ). Very nice :)

Love all your videos. But I miss the cooking part. I would have loved too see the salsa made. God Bless
Enjoyed seeing how you tuck everyone in for the night to avoid issues with predators. That morning view was so beautiful! So happy for the turkeys☺
I get to live vicariously from my apartment in East Harlem. These videos are a nice excursion for me.
I guess I never thought about big city apartment dwellers watching these videos. How cool!!
Loved this video~ was watching it and remembered we are supposed to get torrential downpour in the morning, and we hadn't put our goats or 3-months-old steer calf under shelter, yet ! They frequently stay out if it will be nice, but not a downpour.
Summer is such a busy time. Glad to see things coming together for you. God bless.
This is my favorite video so far! I always wondered if you had to herd the chickens and ducks in at night.
Love the night time part. Seen so many videos of morning chores nice to see how you end your day
Wondering you planted by the pond are doing as well ?
Do you have a video on how to dry out your seeds to use next year? Thanks for letting us enjoy our coffee with you guys.
l was wondering the same thing.
I was going to ask about the cow, but now I don't need to. Glad to see the changes as they happen.
VERY interesting... today I learned about ducks loving to be out late.... fun video!
They are party animals lol🤣😂😂
What a beautiful song, Good man!
How beautiful to see that you found a good man, and that you appreciate him for what he is for you!

Invariably when I keep only one male of a group of poultry, something will happen to that male. I have started keeping a backup male of the more rare breeds.
If you want lots of cow milk get a Holstein. If you enjoy the best cream, butter and milk get a Jersey.
Lots of great animals. Lovely homestead 🏡
You have the best looking garden.
You can get boxes of electrolyte powder (for exactly the same reason as mentioned,at the drug stores too....😘🤷♀️
Kevin & Sarah, thank you as always for the video and for all the hard work to allow for all of us to travel along on your journeys. It is always such a blessing to see the homestead and all the livestock. Glad to hear an update on the family cow and hope that things worked out with the tractor.

Kevin... I love that t-shirt... "THE ORIGINAL COMPUTER" a pencil :) :) :)
Love hearing all the cicadas in the background. I remember living in Arkansas and couldn't walk outside at night if I was on my phone! lol
Great video ! Do you have the cow and goat barn anchored well ? Also, please close the bottom of the shed to prevent coldness in the winter from getting at them. Thanks for sharing. Sarah, I made some banana bread from your recipe but it fell apart after I took it out.
Thanks for showing your night time routine. I see it's much easier to get the critters in bed than I thought!! Loved this video!!
Turkeys are so cute!!! Their little heads poking out of the coop door was adorable!!! They looked like mini-dinosaurs!!! ❤️❤️❤️
They literally are descendants from dinosaurs!

I keep seeing fireflies in the background. I used to love catching them when I was a kid. Love Kevin’s T-shirt’s. Listen to all the noise from the insects.
I live in MO. It`s been so hot I don`t know how you got any work done. You are hard workers !
Who says animals are stupid? Look at those Turkeys proceed with caution.....so sweet!!!
I am enjoying watching your family learn to adapt to a different climate in gardening and building your farm.
Kevin ALWAYS has the best T-Shirts. This "The Original Computer" made me giggle a little too much.

I love your goats! I hope you plan to keep them for their whole life.
Wow. Thank you for answering a question that has been on my mind. Chickens don’t need interference to go to bed. That’s awesome!
I see lightening bugs. So cool
Y’all are such a Blessing. Thank y’all.
It’s always amazing that you have a beautiful green environment and the bunnies eat only your garden!
The night sounds are so relaxing.🙏❤️🙏
You guys are great thanks for sharing everything!
Awesome just awesome video you guys are just great and just keep the tomatoes watered and they will recover don’t take off the suckers and you will have a great fall harvest of tomatoes
