Yep agree, I have recently had a good series of races in the m2 cup including 2 wins. I raced mx-5, it was chaos, totally knocked my confidence. I shall be staying clear in future 😂😂

I've watched quite a few MX-5 cup league races (Actrollvision) which are top tier and Per Sandberg is always at the sharp end so you did well to keep up with him there at the end.
Oh damn, I didn't know he was an actual Mazda cup driver
@@Deckchair_Racing sorry, just an iRacing league but a few MX-5 Cup drivers have participated such as Jeremy Fletcher (who finished high up at Daytona this last week).
Aaaaah okay. I think it's probably me knowing Thruxton quite well rather than being good in the Mazda haha
Really enjoy your videos! One of my favourite things about iRacing on RUclips is watching new players like yourself learn the game, and being witness to their improvements. You've come along way since the first video I watched imo, which is pleasing to see. Awesome to see you get recognised by another racer too!
May be one for the future once you feel RUclips has grown enough or whatever, but it would be awesome to be part of a Deckchair Discord some time! Absolutely zero pressure do that though, keep up the awesome work.
P.S. Would be great to see more live-streams too, time allowing

A Discord channel is definitely on the to do list. Got a massive project on at work at the moment but hopefully once that is out of the way, I'll have some time to start streaming more because it is great fun

When I was on the track we were told to do a light left foot brake just before the end of the straight just to make sure we still had brakes You would be surprised how often some lost their brakes
Try reducing Spotters background volume by quite some level (I think it's called that way) and spotters volume by couple of %.

I literally worked this out after the video. It was annoying me so much and I kept turning the message volume down because I thought background volume controlled the levels when iracing was minimised! The radio crackle is so loud haha

@@Deckchair_Racing engine vs voice vs spotter sounds seems alright. You could add few % on engine, reduce few % on spotter and definitely reduce more % on spotter background
