Great job man. Finally somebody on YT who knows what a DIY project for beginners is.. Not all of us have expensive planners and machines and technique needed. This is really a beginners job.. Thank you. I will start with this.
Built one of these over a weekend after acquiring some pallets. I gave all the planks a light sanding before construction. And also I glued the leg support pieces into place rather than doing them after.
Thank you for the video and the idea. i have just made it. Not from pallets but i am completely satisfied with the result. I learned a lot with this one. Thank you and keep it up!
That is a good looking and bench . Got a question for you. How would you put a small backrest across the back with a small slant without it tilting over? Help if you can. Thanks
Sorry Craig... I respect what you are doing but I have to point out, That is not pallet wood. it is treated timber cut to a similar dimension of a Pallet's slat. but it is way too perfect.. no nail holes and no sanding. my money would be on this wood coming straight from the shop and being treated with a Wire wool and vinegar solution to give it a weathered effect.
Hi Lynn, It depends on the size and construction of the pallets that you are recycling. We recycled 6 pallets to build this bench. You can see how to take apart pallets here: ruclips.net/video/gPi0zDsqJUo/видео.html Thanks for watching our video 👍
I love how you guys replied thinking that translating the 400 mm into cm and m will do, but by "English measurements" they could very likely mean the imperial system :D
It is completely dangerous, because there is no bracing, frankly this guy does not know how to work, why put round rods after doing the complete assembly, it is of anything

@@SilverlineToolsTV How can i share it? Or jsut send it in email?
I've just made a bench following the video. Explained how to build very well. Top man.
Thanks for the video, I decided to undertake this but I planed the pallet wood and added 2 cross members on the lower part of the legs
On yes
I can see what my next project is going to be
Thanks Craig
Great vid with excellent instruction
Great video. That will be my new benches for outside with matching table.
I just made a DIY buddy bench inspired by your video. Thanks so much!
That is awesome! We'd love to see your hard work
I like how Craig doesn't push to sell or even mention the tooling brand he's using.
Thanks
For repeated cuts set a stop up on the saw.. saves measuring every time.
Cool as hell think about putting a back on it thanks excellent video !
Great project, well made! I love making things out of pallets too! A bench is on my list too! Keep up the good work!
I’m so use to American craftsmen, Bob Vila and such, that I never thought of the British as craftsmen. 🤔.
I love this, simple but brilliant. 💯
I recently made the same bench with just a saw, hammer & nails. No power tools.

You're never gonna make a silk purse out of a sows ear but that ain't half bad. Thank you for sharing.

Bravissimo dai spunti veramente interessanti.
Very innovative and nice:),enjoyed watching the build. thank u for sharing.
It's our pleasure, thank you.
Getting the pallet apart is the hardest but
Very true! if you're struggling we have a video on how to dismantle a pallet as well
Yeah, I like it. Cool, simple build mate. Keep it up.
Cheers Mark
Nice job. I love the bench. It will be one of my future projects.
Very nice
🔨 excwesit work 🔨 pal
Very good, I'll make one next week, thanks
What do you do with all the chemicals that spilled and splashed on the pallet from what ever the pallet was used for.
This is the first guy that actually teaches you how.... All these other channels are useless
Thanks man
Good luck finding 4-6 exactly same size pallets very rare
What model is the chop saw you’re using please?
Why not go one fewer set of legs than cross members or vice versa to keep it uniform?
That's what i did
thanks!
Can this be done with any pallet wood the pallets I have the boards are 3 inch wide
Nice job on that Craig. Looks Great..
Put the screws in on the back side before assembly so you do not see them. Would look way better if you do not see the screws
I’d say you need a table planer first.
you are the Best
Türkiye👍👏😊
Didn't this guy do the defunkt C4 Tv Series Big Brother a million years ago -
😂
He doesn't realize just how many spiders and bugs are going to live in it.
muito bom mesmo
Great video

yeah... I get some pretty nice pallets sometimes. depends on where you are getting your wood.
How many pallets would be needed to make this bench?

Thanks for watching our video 👍
if you cut a 25mm spacer to put under the discs you will get them the same then clamp them up great vid tho keep up the good work
I used 2 pallets different sizes so the legs & seat slats were already the right length.
nice:) good work:)
cool vid. Very Useful :-)
Alright Alright calm dow our kid.
thumbs Up Craig BUT PPE ???? dust mask
Can't use a set square and no countersink even though using a countersink drill bit. Come on Andy.
I wl make one for me...
Should have screwed the discs in as he made each leg
or a piece of all thread
It is a great project done well
Quit nit picking he did a beautiful job
You haven't got your chop saw fixed to your table top very very DANGEROUS
Столяр, "ни какой", все "на глазок"! (в прочем, все для кадра снято)
Spiders.
Should actually brace both sides and under seat for stability sorry Craig this is quite shoddy.
No disrespect but the wood saw machine probably cost a put 200 quid..use your hands the old school way 😂
how about English measurements. what the hell is 400 millimeters?
40cm
mm are common measurements with most crafters / engineers etc.
•4 meters.
I love how you guys replied thinking that translating the 400 mm into cm and m will do, but by "English measurements" they could very likely mean the imperial system :D
@@charleeboytruth8195 er no, 400mm is 40cm... 400cm is 4m
pleas STOP!!!!
