Great instructional video, so many other's don't explain things for beginners like you have. Having measurements etc is also more helpful than a lot of the videos I have seen for many pallet furniture videos on RUclips. Thank you for taking the time to go into so much detail and not doing a sped up video like most others.
Awesome. I was looking for some ideas for the Venezuelan refugees we are getting here in Brazil. They're coming without any furniture at all. I'll try to tinker with old pallets and make some stuff. Thank you very much for this simple chair design!!
@@MrandMrsDIY Thanks! It did actually. It's a great design. They added cushions to the chairs. A slight angle on the backrest would make the chairs a bit more comfortable, but it's also somewhat more complicated to do so.
Really so simple. I enjoyed the way you explained and demostraited how to make a dinning/kitchen chair. I really like the ease it went together. I think I will make some for the garage and the house. There are so many ways you could even upolster the chair too. So many things could be done to include painting them or leave them natural or stained with clear coat.
@@MrandMrsDIY I just thought I would let people know, that this reply took over 3 years, and I still have the chair, and it is still solid. So, thank you again 3 years later for my patio furniture.
Now these videos are awesome! Please do more PALLET videos like this one. I like these. I will be making some myself now. The metal chairs we buy at walmart always seem to fall apart
He would have used it but he had to make the video short and the bottom square he could do it then just mount it on the chair not mount every piece apart lol
Great vide, thank you for the inspiration! I pre-drill all the holes in pallet wood as it's not very solid, can split and sometimes has cracks. Also, I like to spread the glue on the entire surface with my finger, making sure the glue reaches the entire surface.
Made this chair straight after i watched his video but with some minor changes. Thanks for your video's Craig, i have subscrided to your channel. Cheers from New Zealand.
Hi I just have to say I like your videos I like to start making things my self you make it look so easy..... boy I love to have a hole set of Silverline tools Thank you your follower from Tulare ca
Craig is a proper geezer, I remember when he went into the Big Brother house, only after winning did he admit he had done it to raise money for a sick child (I don’t think they are related), the man is a legend and anything he does now is considered genius in my household.
A few years later..... Dang dude. What a simple cool chair!? Bet it'll last two years longer than stone too. Just subscribed. Hope you're still doing stuff. May do this with my two adult boys for a fun few hour project next holiday season.
Is that standard Elmer's wood glue? I haven't seen it in a white bottle and the glue that white before.. When I buy it, it's kind of a light tan color and same as the glue..
Wow Craig Philips the dirty sellout although I do buy all silver line tools because they are not top range but very useable and get the job done for half the price of delwalt and other brands I wish I was sponsored by silverline it's what I always buy
Hi Malak. The measurements are dependent on how big or small you would like your chair to be. The height from the floor to the seat in this one is 480mm. The depth of the wood itself is roughly 22mm.

Excellent chairs! A really nice tight little design, very four-square and solid, and very much in keeping with the reclaimed wood idea.🇨🇦
Thanks! You planning on making some for yourself?
@@SilverlineToolsTV yep! Winter project tx again for great demo
Good luck with the build! Let us know how you get on

Thanks!
Nice one Graig, it makes a change to see a video were you only need basic tools.
Thanks Russell!
Cheers Russell!
Nice job Craig. Going to give that one a go.
Thanks Trevor, hope the build went well!
Nice job - good to see someone working, who knows what they are doing.
Thanks David, much appreciated!
I can’t decide whether I really like or dislike these
You make it look like I can do this. I want to make palette furniture and items and you give me the confidence to try it myself.
Absolutely Khristina! Break the tools out and have a go yourself are what its all about! Hope your build went well!
Hi, just wanted to say thanks. Helped me out a ton with my first chairs.
Great to hear! What's your next project?
@@SilverlineToolsTV I was thinking of a bedside cupboard. Got any tips and tricks for me?
Have you seen our Cabinet Video?

Not a bedside cupboard but might help give you a few ideas
No problem Henry!
Looks really solid. Another great job.
Thanks Fae!
Chop saw is a nice luxury as pallet wood is easy to cut with a hand saw. It has the integrity/strength of thick toast.

I would like to see you using that hand saw that you keep mentioning 😆
Second that
Yup

Saludos me gusto el vídeo de la silla felicidades le quedo muy bien .

i believe i'd do the sanding before i put it together.
It is hard to sand down all the parts the same. If you put it together and then sand all is even

Great job! I would argue that since the support pieces are internal there is no apparent reason for mitre joins. Or not?
For tidiness
@@davidduxbury4919 Yes tidiness was the main reason
very awesome

I'd welcome the subway thing.. bastards never put enough condiments on my sammiches
I feel like he's using Elmer's paper craft glue not wood glue
Subway are tight arses
Just don't eat the wood!

hi what are the measurements please malak from algeria👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

can I have the measurements of the wood ,also can you build a kids seat and bench set too?

thanks ,much appreciated
@@SilverlineToolsTV I needed these measurements as well lol but not in mm! Lol I did my best!
