- They got off to an incredibly broken start back in 9th, but have since been struggling a bit in 10th! Now, after a few points adjustments and balance dataslates... how are the Votann doing in the latest Edition? And which of their Units are the best?!

What are you top 5 Leagues of Votann Units in 10th Edition?
Also slight amendment - the Hearthguard will end up with a 2+/5++, the Weavefield Crest is ONLY on the bearer, so the way I would play them is taking the Teleport Crest on the Hearthguard Hesyr and then put a Kahl with them with the Rampart Crest to give the Unit the 5+ Invuln, slightly worse than what I had thought but still a very solid Unit I think!
I'd advise against putting him with HG if you have the Volkanite Disintegrator as you want to keep the mortals rather than lethals.
Additionally you didn't mention one of my favourite thigns about HG abd it's that grenade launcher. A block of 10 HG suddenly gives you massive chaff removal.10 x D6 attacks with Blast, only STR 4 and no AP granted but that will chew through light infantry.
Hi, can you explain the tokens? Is it add a shot to the hitroll or rolling a 3 insaid of a 4? Same with the wound roll. Would be great if you can

Just as a disclaimer, Hearthguards don't have an Invuln, only their sergent has it. Hence why people take the deepstrike and take the Khals 5++ Invuln.
Oooh I missed that! It is just on the bearer indeed, yeah absolutely in that case I would do Hesyr with the teleport crest and give them the 5++ from the Kahl's Rampart Crest! Not quite as good, but still T6, 2+/5++ isn't too shabby and they still get to deep strike! Thanks for pointing that out!
Listening along together peoples takes on Votann ahead of my 2nd league with them. Came to say this. Glad it got spotted.

Kahl giving hearthguard lethal hits is the strongest contribution.

The Weavefield crest only gives the Hesyr the 4+ invuln not the whole squad so youd want the Hesyr to take the teleport crest and give the 5 up invuln to the khal

Does it not bother you that one cloak is hanging, flat, and the mounted guy's cape and flag are both flapping in the wind? I would probably argue sculpting a flapping cloak out of miliput/greenstuff or printing one.
