Let me know, what's your favorite piece of at-home Pilates Equipment? And if you're just starting out with Pilates, try the 7-Day Pilates for Beginners Series. trifectapilates.com/series
The magic ring! And large and small balls. I have been a long time mat Pilates person and am certified in Mat! love your work!! Old and new all your classes are great keep of the magical service:):):)👍🏻❣️
of course , the pilates mat, but now i'm adding the yoga at on top to keep me from sliding. I love the magic circle, resistance bands, yamuna ball and sometimes a block.
Hi!! I have 2 faves. I love doing almost any kind of workout with a small ball. 2nd would be bands, but I often can't get in position quick enough with them and its soooo frustrating. Mine tend to stick together after a bit, and besides my slowness, that makes it even harder, but I do like to work with them. I am using them some and the round bands while I recover from a sudden cancer hysterectomy (They got it all, thank the Lord!!). Anyway, so many blessings to you!!
@@trifectapilates Oh i am very blessed. Thankyou so much!! I will be loking for some of them that are safe for post op. Up til now, I've mostly been walking and doing a playlist I found (yoga, but mostly lying down pelvic tilt type stuff) for post surgery. Many blessings!!
I’ve been doing my Pilates on a regular yoga mat, that being said I do my practice on the carpet…so is there any benefit for me to investing in a Pilates mat? And I’m thrilled that I have all the equipment you mentioned…I should really use my circle more it’s my least used piece of equipment 😔
Yes, the mat even on carpet will provide more cushion and support. If you don't mind carpet, you can keep doing that. I just find it feels more comfortable with a mat. And yes, move with that circle!
Can you tell me if the Hatha Yoga Extra Thick TPE Yoga Mat will work? It is available on Amazon, it is 1/2 inch thick, but it is TPE rather than foam, so I am just wondering if that will work? I tend to slip a lot, so I thought maybe this would provide enough cushion and prevent slipping.
That's a zafu. I don't use it for Pilates but it is a helpful lift when seating. You can use a blanket in it's place but the zafu doesn't require any extra folding to be the right height for me.

I'm not sure since I've never used that mat. Sometimes it's helpful to put a thin nonslip yoga mat on top of a Pilates mat as an option.
Thanks!!!!
You bet!
What are you sitting on..the black cushion thing?

For me the band the weights and a small ball
Perfect, next month we'll be using the band and the small ball!
