Yeah man Uruks are fierce! Crossbows have been hit and miss for me so it was so nice for them to actually put in some work this time. Of course it helps to roll some good dice! 😆
Yes good point! If the dice roll well, the model is great! If dice roll poorly the model is pants!

Yeah I know! Its just that the 2nd day had 2 games which both ended up being grind fests against very similar forces and just didn't seem so interesting and not really worth the hours it takes to edit.

Scalpers are the worst! I desperately want some fellowship dice but the on selling price is crazy! And don’t be fooled those Isengard dice roll plenty of ones as well! 😆
Those Mordor dice are frighteningly good. Sauron's eye comes up often it seems
@@dicedrinksanddadjokes the first two rolls fresh out the box were 6's 👌 I took it as a good omen! And the 3 I rolled after, I just assumed the dice gods thought I was doing a roll for, evil wins it yay! 😂
@@dicedrinksanddadjokes I was looking at the one ring fellowship dice...Same thing on UK eBay 😐 I'm not paying over £100 for 8 dice! I sure hope no one has actually paid that, but unfortunately I'm probably wrong about that 😕 Surely dice isn't hard to have a constant stock on?

More AOHD Goodness! 😂 I'm running them again in the next tournament I'm in I think then it's time to retire them.
I think I'm going to run vanilla Isengard here in the near future, I haven't played with Saruman yet!

Hey thanks Wade! Yeah I was rolling some hot dice in that last game! Funny you should say that I’m actually planning on moving on from this force. I might give straight Isengard a go or one of the other legendary legions but I’m done with AOHD for a while 😅

Hey Oli, I made him with a pike warrior combined with bits from an upgrade spruce that came with the old magazines. So it’s a metal head and metal cross bow

Haha thanks man, yeah they even out over all. I rolled terribly in the previous 2 games. It’s just funny when you have an improbable streak of 6s. It’s amazing what you can do with an army when you do that 😆
@@dicedrinksanddadjokes do you find that players can still win with strategy and being clever with heroics, even if someone has a streak of off the chart luck. Or does luck always win the games
@@mikeglasswell-gameplay luck certainly helps but if that’s all it takes then you wouldn’t get the same people at the top of the leader boards. Strategy is a massive part of this game that’s what makes it so great!

Hey Manu, thanks for watching! I don't know anyone personally but the best bet would be to check out the facebook group - New Zealand Middle Earth League and ask there. Otherwise have a look if there is a local war gaming club. My local club mainly plays 40k but I'm slowly seducing them to MESBG haha!
