Legolas not having three attacks is the biggest crime in MESBG - At the very least, he should have a similar rule to thranduil - if you give him orcrist he gets +1 attack and/or Fight 7. He literally fights bolg and beats him twice in the movies, But Tauriel has more attacks?? Bring back the megolas option!!

@@ArchangelTyrael It was a mini booklet released when the hobbit stuff was first coming out, Legolas was more points and had fight 7, 3 attacks, 3 wounds - representing him in the movie.
Ah yes, the elvish death bubble. I definitely think Rivendell pip them to the post as best elvish army. Rivendell more flexible and resilient against the whole field, whereas the Mirkwood boys and girls have a high ceiling when they get the ball rolling, but fall to bits under magic pressure IMO. Blast or dart Thranny off his mouse/horse and blast or compell him into awkward spots and the army becomes much more manageable.
Or you know, just kill him. Easier said than done, but effective.
Rivendell can bring so many different play styles, and phone in so many helpful green ally characters (aragon, legolas, angry galadriel, Saruman, Isildur, Elendil) they are just so damn flexible and dependable.

Tauriel is always my second choice, an economic elf hero with 3 attacks. Thranduil is of course the best.

They're a solid force!
So you prefer pg spear shield instead of mirkwood glaive.. even if they are cheaper? My thought was just 4 pg at 700
Mate 100% do I prefer the PG with spear and shield over the MK elf.
Personally I think the glaive is shit especially for 2 points.
It has its place in the army but I'll pay those 3 extra points for D6, body guard and potential F6. Yes you have to be within 3 if thranduil to get the +1 fight but the army is designed around staying close to thranduil. If you lose your 4 palace guard which ppl with target asap suddenly you don't have the vital F6 at all.
