For some reason the telling of these stories in this format is much more intriguing than if I were to just watch a show with this information. Keep up the good work.

I believe he said it was done not so much to state cause of death. But to determine that they were indeed dead. Either way, with everyone there, you would think they could tell if one was dead or not. Perhaps they need a “professional” in that field to give the final word. Go figure.

This time period will likely be a test of MrBallen's resolve, as he's done so many stories of such mystery and significance, that it will inevitably become harder to find varied or exceptional content. Let's be there for him, lead him to stories if we find them, etc. Because if we fans turn all "Wow you suck now rabble rabble rabble" it will not only be crappy morally, it'll lower his resolve to give us great content. Not that you suggested any negativity toward him; just saying this so that if it does happen and the channel runs dry for a while, people will hopefully stop and think before turning hater or jumping ship. Ballen's a treasure we can't afford to lose him 😂 And with his rapid fire content, it may become a reality that he struggles to find stories worth telling

My 3 month old son has become soothed by the sound of MrBallen's voice. He had a lot of pain bc of reflux, so the crying was fierce. I've spent a lot of time up nights listening. Not a bad thing! But by now, during the day, when a new story gets posted, and I play it, he just stops his cry short, and pays attention. It's almost like he's been trained. Kinda cool, kinda strange. I'll take it.

@@jessicacossin6282 my daughter had a condition the resident doctors and primary doctor in Erlanger children's hospital called "Prater Willy's Sydrome". She had such bad symptoms that she couldn't even breathe at some points the reflux was so bad. She's 4 now, healthy as a horse. :) Good luck

@@mayn90s19 wow! That's scary! We have a almost 3 yr old with Down syndrome. She's had too many life threatening surgeries to count. At 5 months she had open heart surgery, weighing under 10 lbs, it took her those agonizing 5 months just to get her to barely 10lbs, she had a cleft lip and palate, and her heart couldn't handle normal bottle feeding, so she required an NG-Tube, then a permanent G-tube. She's doing amazing now, getting ready for preschool in October... But when she was born we didn't think she would make it. She dropped down to below 5lbs, couldn't regulate her body temp. Never cried, didn't eat, didn't even cry when she was wet or had a dirty diaper. I didn't even have to trim her nails until after she was almost a year old... It makes you take a healthy baby for granted. I'm glad your daughter is doing great! Sending hugs!

25 years ago my daughter was a CO there for a couple of years and I'll tell you right up to today it's still looks like a Gothic Castle on the outside. I guess I should say that she was so outraged by the way men were treated there that she quit and became an RN
This reminds me a lot of the Green Mile, with the character that gets executed, the one that likes the mouse. Percy doesn't wet the sponge that goes under the headpiece, so the character bursts into flames on the chair from the electricity. It still gives me the heebie-jeebies no matter how many times I see it.
Yea that is one movie I could only watch once, it was just too fucking sad!!

The photo in question is on a front cover of a book cover I have titled Executions. There was no mention in the book of the man on the front cover, so it's nice to finally know who the man was and the crime he committed that lead him to the electric chair.
The guy didn't commit any crime . His fault was to be black. During that time a white man can commit a crime and the police most of whom who were in KKK , will go look for any black man to kill . Learn the real history of America.

David Berkowitz was never sentenced to death and although he spent some time at Sing Sing for psychological tests his main "home" has always been Attica. He is very much still alive.

I was just on here to say the same thing I was in prison last year with him in alater stat . He been there for at least 10 years I know him . He really nice man hard to think he kill all them people. But he doesn't like to talk about it .

A number of years ago Illinois stopped executions because 9/12 of the people on death row were exonerated and 6 were released as of last I heard. All the blood thirsty people who scream about executions should have a lil empathy for them, after all they might be innocent.

I was a prison minister and attended a few executions. It was by lethal injection. Some went peacefully and swift, some fought it and it was a long tortuous procedure. One was such a drug addict that they couldn't get the needle in a good place. The blinds were then closed and 35 minutes later when it opened, he was dead. I would not say that I witnessed his death. Because I didn't, they shut the blinds when they had trouble with him, then he was gone when they opened blinds..I had to stop being at the executions because since I had ministered to these men, it became more difficult ..
Whew! Sounds very traumatizing! I commend you for your deed. I sure hope that you find much peace and happiness in life, despite those haunting memories. Continue to do Gods work as he is pleased. 🙏🏽❤️

Always remember how the victims of these prisoners died.
I think it would be comforting to them to see your presence after you've been ministering to them for so long. I think it would be something like an honor, maybe more like a duty, to be there as someone takes their final breaths, as uncomfortable as it is. And as with all people, they have only shown you the side they want you to see.
My job is to find family of people who have died alone. Many have not been in touch with their families for decades. Some do come forward to claim their forgotten brother, but for some the damage that person has done is far too great for their family to extend any mercy in death. I felt awful for one man because of the way he died. It was grisly. And then we found out his family had cut contact with him 30+ years ago because he murdered his baby niece. No reason, just stabbed her to death. I can't blame his family for not caring what happens to him. People put themselves in these positions most of the time and turn around and ask for sympathy when it's too late.

Berkowitz is now 67 years old and is serving his time in Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Wallkill, New York
Yep, we wrote him in prison years ago and he responded! He is a born again Christian and the letter he sent us was on rainbow paper.

I always wonder if murderers ever think about how it feels when they’re victims were pleading for mercy, now they’re facing execution and the tables have turned, they are now pleading for mercy! Do they ever think “so this is how it feels?”
Those who feel no remorse do not connect the two. Those who felt remorse do, but it doesn't stop them from pleading for their life. They don't want to feel what their victims felt. So their "empathy" really amounts to a hill of beans.
What you are asking is a little more complicated . There are different types of murderers . Some are serial killers and lack empathy. Or mob hit men, drug dealers or religious kooks. But some have empathy, just were angry, pushed too far or were somehow in a bad situation. You don’t even need to murder someone to be charged in some states. Give ‘em a ride and boom you can be sentenced as a murderer.
Good point. Look at Paul the apostle, he had women and children murdered and at the end he became a great disciple of God. True repentance brings the light in people and flees the darkness. “Ephesians 6” we don’t wrestle against people but demonic forces that influences all of us. That’s why we need to say “Satan get behind me” more often and understand that others are affected by these demonic beings just as we who are not perfect therefore we should not judge but rather pray for our enemies and friends…

A lot of executed prisoners were later proven innocent of their crimes by DNA or other additional evidence. Not just "not guilty". Conclusively innocent.
I appreciate the video I don't enjoy someone else's demise it's depressing to hear all these bad things that happened to these people It's just sad to know that there's so many evil people out there

He would have been quoting Jesus Christs' words on the cross to His executioners; "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." (Luke 23:34)
