She's not really a monster. Its very clear from the evidence that she has munchausen by proxy a serious mental illness were a person, usual a mother, uncontrollably needs attention and it often manifest by faking or focusing their children illness to get positive attention. Dopamine is released in the brain when people get positive attention, its one of the reason why social media is so addictive and why people like comments/likes/ interaction. This is made even worst if you have a mental illness driving you for constant positive social interaction. The story of Gypsy Rose is a famous case of the issue.
Typical people with Munchausen will actually go to different doctors so they don't get caught as doctors *should* be aware of the possibility if a child continues to have strange medical issue that aren't going that don't have a clear cause. If she went to the same doctor all the time you would have think they would have noticed and put in hospital for the mental ill and removed the child. And for anyone who is super daft, i'm not saving her actions are acceptable i'm saying this is a well documented mental illness.

She was a monster to that baby and it’s not uncontrollable, it’s out of wanting attention…
Besides my mom I also have a neighbor who fakes illnesses to get attention and it’s not uncontrollable she’s a needy person wanting it all to be about her. I got out of the hospital and a neighbor asked what happened, in the middle of telling her Melanie shouts that she has a brain tumor! It happened to be apart of the IV stand, as a new feature, not all of them come with one, but this one did. She might have gotten away with it without that damning evidence, and the doctors had no idea that camera was there either. One of the nurses actually spoke up, and alerted to them that she believed this was one of the IV’s that came with the security camera, and they were able to extract the footage after. Munchousen by proxy is such a scary decease. In Denmark there was a story a couple of years ago with a little boy who kept getting anemic. The doctors were also baffled in this case.
At one point they got to go on some payed holiday for sick children. On that trip he got a lot better but no one could understand this either.
After years of this, social services and police grew suspicious enough that the police set up shop in the house next to her for surveillance. They were listening in and after a while they did find out she was taking blood from him.
When they had enough evidence they stormed in right as she was finished and she had taken 7 large syringes of blood out!!
The boy got a lot better after she was arrested but bizarrely enough, she never seemed to understand that what she had done was really bad. Because he didn't die sort of thing.

I’m afraid that some people are just downright monsters. I’m currently 14, and this time last year, I was in a phase where I pretty much didn’t care about little kids (God, I hate myself saying that). But my opinion on children changed when back in May, my sister gave birth to a baby boy we named Carter. I honestly can’t imagine my life without my pudgy-cheeked nephew in it, and I would do literally ANYTHING to protect him. One time, we were at a zoo and one family got a little too close to him and were startling him. Without saying anything, I picked up my nephew, grabbed the pusher and returned him to my sister and my brother-in-law. From that point onwards, I began to realise that I was always watching my nephew and was EXTREMELY protective of him. Even with friends or specific members of the family. Which made me realise just how far I was willing to go for him and his safety. Hearing this story hurts me. If anyone took my nephew from me, I would go to the ends of the Earth to protect him. Bless that poor child, may he rest in happiness and peace. There’s a special place in hell for people like that woman.

There are 13 yrs between my oldest and yngst. My kids are mostly grown now. I have 2 girls, 23 next mth & 16.5, and 2 boys, 19 & 10 later this yr. My oldest daughter is married to her high school sweetheart w a beautiful 5 yr old son, and they just bought their first home. My grandson is never without family, and never left w a babysitter. Between our huge side, or her husband's big fam, if their work overlaps there is ALWAYS someone close to take care of him, bc that's how she was raised. She works p/t retail, while he has a decent factory job. My oldest son is going into his 2nd yr of Mechanical Engineering. My yngst daughter is a straight A honor roll student. My yngst son has ADHD and autism, and he too is doing amazing. I have an amazingly close relationship w ALL of my kids. They know they can come to me about ANYTHING without judgement, and they ALWAYS have and still do. I know things about my kids I didn't want to know, lol, but that's how close we all are.
I had kids young, and bc of that my ex and I had A LOT of familial support. My oldest was born a little over a yr after high school graduation while I was in college, and we lived w my parents. I always made every effort to be THE ONE taking care of her as an infant. I remember sitting at a drafting table in my parents basement doing homework while she slept in her bassinet right beside me until she needed me. I went to class sometimes on 2-3 hrs sleep. I had 3 kids by 25, and then I was a single mom. I'm very blessed that I have absolutely amazing parents who asked me to move bk in w them and give my kids a good, stable, life. That meant giving up my independence that I had worked so hard for, but it was the best thing for MY KIDS. That way when I worked 6 yrs of nights at a local newspaper (went to college 1st time for graphic design) I had my mom filling in, but we were all under the same roof.
A yr after my yngst daughter was born and I was a single mom, the newspaper I worked for (6 yrs) was sold and mass layoffs occurred. With no portfolio bc I worked for a newspaper on ads, on top of everyone being able to do their own basic design, I ended up at an inbound cust svc call center, for HALF of what I was making. After 2 wks I asked my parents if they'd support me going bk to college for 1 yr f/t while I worked three 10 hr shifts/wk to make sure my kids had a good future, and they happily agreed. I took a 1 yr college prgm, Personal Support Worker (PSW) which is what is required to work in nursing homes or as a PSW in a hospital, here in the province of Ontario, Canada. But I also took Human Biology and Selective Disorders, Pharmacology, and psychology related to developmental disabilities and mental illness (dual diagnosis) as I had decided I wanted to work w developmentally disabled adults instead of in a nursing home. I took those night courses for almost 3 yrs, even after I was hired by a group home agency as a Developmental Disabilities Behavior Worker, so that I could move up. I worked straight nights for another 2.5 yrs (contract position). I was then put to p/t but still got my 40 hrs/wk, and then some. It was at this time I met my husband, who immediately after finally meeting my kids, took them on as his own. A yr later I was pregnant w our son and we moved in together and eventually got married. But we still, 10 yrs later, are 2 mins from my parents.
Then my life changed forever. In Sept 2012, 9 mths after our son was born, and 3 mths before I had to return to work (we get 52 wks of maternity/parental leave), I developed horrible chronic pain. After multiple specialists including pain specialists, I was diagnosed w fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, and chronic fatigue. I _did_ return to work, but only 3 days/wk bc the job was extremely physical. I pushed myself for 8 mths. Then I had a bad fall down our stairs bc my body was so fatigued and weak. My husb looked at me and said "U are NOT going to work, anymore! I can't sit here and watch u do this to urself for a job. I will be the one who works and u stay home w the kids and take care of urself". And that's the way it's been since 2013. I eventually got the pain mostly under control, and have spent the last 8 yrs DEDICATED to my kids while my husb, who's a tradesman, licensed heavy equipment technician, has supported us. My parents have always been close and have been great co-parents and grandparents. My kids have never once been left w a babysitter. It's ALWAYS been grandparents, or Aunts and Uncles.
My oldest 3 grew up playing rep hockey (where u travel and spend wknds in hotels, especially when u have 3 playing in tournaments on the same wknd) (my yngst daughter started w figure skating and I was an assistant coach), baseball, lacrosse, ball hockey, and have everything they have ever wanted in life and more. Bc I worked nights at both jobs, I arranged my sleep around THEM. Also, bc of my choice of 2nd career I'm the best mom to my autistic son. Without that education and experience, I'd have been LOST. My kids have thanked me for all the sacrifices I've ALWAYS MADE FOR THEM. I'm definitely NOT perfect and have made many mistakes. But I have ALWAYS done my very best and given them more attention than a single child w 2 parents! And this doesn't even mention the s**t I went thru w my ex during ALL of this time.

This reminds me of a couple of cases that occured in the United Kingdom. The first concerned a hospital nurse called Beverley Aylett who was diagnosed with Munchausen by Proxy after several of the children on her ward failed to respond to treatment and ultimately died. Although she seemed very concerned that the children were getting progressively worse instead of recovering like they were expected to, the cases were too similar in nature to be purely coincidental.
The second case involved a couple who adopted a young boy and his sisters, the husband and wife only wanted to take the two girls but were told by social services the children were to be kept together. Shortly after the adoption the boy was admitted to hospital suffering from a sodium overdose. He would tragically succumb to kidney failure just a few days later. According to the newspaper article I read, his adoptive mother had made him take a spoonful of salt as punishment because she thought he was misbehaving. When he asked for a drink because the salt was making him thirsty, she refused to give him anything. Sometime later he collapsed in agony, and the couple decided to take him to hospital as they hadn't intended to seriously harm him (or so they claimed when questioned). After he died, the boy's sisters were transferred to a new home, and the couple were no longer permitted to adopt on the grounds of gross negligence. As far as I can recall, they were also arrested and served a prison sentence for their mistreatment of the boy who was about the same age as Garnett.

Even when I need a brake I can only go about an hour or so tell I want him back. I can't do overnight because I stress to much. And anytime we've tried he just wasn't having it because he wanted to be with me. Its to the point where he basically acts like im his only parent. He knows his mom is his mom but he doesn't care. He doesn't want to be with her or sleep with her or anything. He just wants me. And I feel so bad for his mom but what can I do? I've wanted a son since I was 14 and got one at 19 and EVERY SINGLE person who knew me for some random reasons around kids or not said they think I'd make a great dad. And here I am at almost 26 with my almost 6 year old knowing that when I chose to have my son it was the best dession I've made in my life. Wether we struggle with money or a place to live or anything. I know I made the right choice. I can NEVER imagine doing anything so cruel to my son. I can't even spank him because I hate when he crys :( I've tried. Its to hard for me and I end up buying him a bunch of toys for it. The parents who do this are the most HEARTLESS, SPINELESS, COWARDOUS, PATHETIC PIECES OF SHIT IN THE WORLD! I hope that B rots in jail and gets tortured. I hope theirs some parents in there that love their kids like I do and beat the hell out of her for it. This makes me sick. This and rapest are one of the people I'd definitely not hesitate putting a bullet in their head.

I’m a mother of four(25,22,13 and 11), and I felt violently ill as I watched this video. HOW anyone is able to hurt their own babies that they carried 9 months under their heart...I’m sorry, I can’t wrap my head around it...
My heart aches for that little boy Garnett, but definitely not for that sick monster that calls her self a mother!!!
Crying so hard that I can’t see to write.
Keep safe y’all and blessed be.

Jeanette, I'm still feeling very physically ill & it's been over an hour since I've learned of this evil thing of a "mother."
      20 yrs...That sweet, innocent and beautiful boy💔💔💔

I've seen and bin through some sick shit in my life but shit like this involving kids just tear me up. While I know it's going to get me upset watching these videos while I couldn't help em least I can do is hear their stories. Hopefully hearing the stories and continuing my work irl this sort of shit can be caught before a kid dies or has to suffer at the hands of monsters.

This poor kid. As a loving and devoted father, I couldn’t imagine my baby ever being harmed.

My brother has a baby, the first new generation of our family. And I love that baby sooo much, I would do anything to protect him. I don't get why you would murder your own blood

And unfortunately his real father was never even aware of his existence. She lied about so much. Including his dads death. His dad never got to know him.

We would kill for our children if we had to! I know I have certainly dressed some people down over my children!

So heartbreaking. I have a 4 year old and a new born, and I can't even imagine how someone could entertain the idea of doing this to their own kids. Seeing those pictures of that little boy, and knowing that his future was stolen from him...it makes me so mad, and so sad at the same time.
