8:40 the fact that both ragers got into the accident by themselves, and didnt took any innocent drivers in the process. Is really awesome to see.
This is very typical in Houston. I live here and we by far have the absolute worst and discourteous entitled drivers in the country. No turn signals, rude, constant cutoff’s, blocking intersections, red light runners, yellow light stoppers, merging on the freeway at 40-50 mph when the flow of traffic is 65+, I could go on and on.

To be fair yellow means go if safe but be prepared to stop. Where I live yellow lights are so short you mind as well just stop or risk a ticket for accelerating through the intersection.@@marioavila1559

You are correct, I don't know all the models from the early years but I would say Type 51 is closest. If it's not a repop it's going to cost even more than a Tesla to fix!

Dude that is crazy, they are clearly different cars. My guess is the Subaru is already next to the Tesla in the first angle but can’t be seen, and the Chevy is pulling in behind it? And we just never see the Chevy in the front angle

I really love that last story. There are still some good people in this world.
As a motorcyclist I would have stopped to help a fellow biker; however I also have to question why someone is riding if they don't know how to pick up a fallen motorcycle solo, it's one of the most basic skills a biker needs to have. The bike also has crash bars so he didn't even need to pick it up from flat against the ground, I hope he gets some education before he gets himself stuck without help.

Calgary has some of the worst drivers though
Thankfully no damage was done, had a family member mess up their knee bad when a bike fell over on him. He was just home from a ride when it tipped and it was several hours before someone found them.

The classic car that the hood had popped off was a 1925 bugatti type 35 which is very rare to see in the wild while they made little of those cars.

For number 15: always disclose upgrades to your insurance company with receipts and ensure those upgrades are included as covered on your policy. Insurance companies only replace the OEM components if that’s all that’s insured. You can add riders for the customer stuff as you go along.
Props to Bored NY Dad for testing out his Telsa's performance at the dragstip in a controlled environment. Just thankful the driver of the Camaro is ok, although it did look like the car was built with a chute, it probably had a rollcage in it due to the speed he was going, NHRA/track rules and whatnot.
Yeah hopefully they are ok.. it’s a car from the 60s not 80s wich could make it worse their ment to last not accedents hopefully their ok I saw a video of a 60s ford crash at 40 miles an hour the poor guy got a steering wheel to the face and a busted lip
The person who submitted the first story needed to lawyer up and go after the insurance company for short handing him money on the rental car at minimum. The Insurance Company’s responsibility to the victims of an accident is to make sure (1) their car gets repaired to drivable and (2) that in the meantime, the victim can still commute using a rental.
That is not how insurance works.
Every insurance I've ever purchased has rental cars as an optional add on and usually has tiers of how much they cover per incident and how much is paid out per day.

I think he should take the driver at fault to small claims court or whatever Canada's equivalent is. The at fault driver was not insured so she drove knowing she would be liable for any accidents

#7 Steve, I know you thought you were doing something nice and safe by moving the light pole off the highway, but you are lucky you weren’t electrocuted. I worked for a utility and no one should ever touch light poles, cables, wires, etc without first verifying that they are not live. Please be safe.

What's the supply voltage of the light poles?
@@realulli I suppose this really depends on country and how old the pole is! LED power consumption is tiny, but old bulbs? Crazy.
@@realulli Im not from the US, but in Germany those light poles a connected to the regular power grid, which means 240V in Germany. In US that would be 120V.

@@realulli A number of different voltages are used for installations in the USA, but seeing how many lights are used here, these lights are probably running off 480V. The light also lacks a photocell, meaning it would be group-switched and therefor was "dead" (IE no voltage in the fixture and pole) as it hit the ground (seeing that none of the other lights were on either). If it was live, it could also short out or ground fault and trip any upstream breakers, but that's not to say that you shouldn't be careful when handling fallen poles like this, as 480v (assuming that is the voltage used here) would hurt a hell of a lot more than 120v or 240v.

Well 30 out of the 50 states in the USA also require a front plate. Also Washington D.C. requires it

15 - Thats horrible to happen on your day off AND when family is visiting!!! I don't know about Canadian laws, but here in the USA if someone doesn't have insurance, you can sue the driver. If the judge deems them "at fault", their wages can be garnished and any assets they have can be deemed "sellable" to repay the damages......depending on the damages and medical bills.
It's also a VERY good idea to have "uninsured motorists" insurance on your policy.
14 - ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep your hands on the WHEEL and your eyes ON THE ROAD!!! Even looking away for ONE SECOND can cause something like this. If you need to pull over and shake off the road a bit or wake up........then do it!!!! It's better to be 10 minutes behind, than dead or in jail for killing someone.
13 - If you let a crime "slide", then you've become the same criminal that attacked you.....and the next time they will do something worse to the next person. FILE A REPORT WITH THE POLICE, whether they do something or not, at least it will be on record for when they DO damage property, cause a wreck, or kill someone.
12 - You are SOOOO lucky that lumber didn't come flying thru your windshield!!! Lucky, lucky, lucky!!!!
10 - MAJOR PROPS to this RESPONSIBLE driver!!!! Going to a local race track to run his car at dangerous speeds, and NOT on the roads or highways!!!! This man deserves a reward for being an intelligent, safe, and responsible driver!!!
9 - That old car seems to be a old MG, as it looked like it had "MG" on the hood when it flew off.
I could be wrong, but that is my guess.
8 - At least she didn't get a damaged tire from that, nor hitting another vehicle with the flying debris.
If I am able to do so, and it's SAFE....I will pull over and drag the debris off the road, or if its small enough, take it with me to dispose of it. If it's a large piece, call 911 and report debris in the road so the city can get somebody out there to clean it up ASAP.
6 - I LOVE IT! Instant CARma!! Lucky they didn't hit anybody else too. If you have a dashcam, DON'T ROAD RAGE AND GO AFTER SOMEONE, let your video do the talking to the police and your insurance company.
4 - BUUUUUUUULLLLLLSH********T!!!!!! The police have recognition software they can use by running that guys photo thru it to get his name and address!!!! You can also demand your insurance company FORCE the police to do that, if they claim there is "nothing we can do".
3 - Again, don't let these criminals get away. If you got their plate numbers or faces, TURN THEM IN!
What this BMW lunatic did can be construed as "attempted manslaughter" in some states.
2 - Never "race" or try to catch up to a psychotic lunatic on the roads, you could very easily end up in their wake of destruction or death, as they speed away.
1 - It is nice to be a good Samaritan, but BE CAREFUL! Too many people get scammed by theives pulling this kind of thing. Use your wits and best judgement.......if it "feels weird", don't stop, but report it to the police so if the motorist DOES require help, the police can provided it.
Here in the UK, driving without insurance is punishable by a £300 spot fine and 6 penalty points (12 = disqualification). If it goes to court the penalty is an unlimited fine and disqualification. The police may also seize the vehicle, even if it doesn't belong to you, and destroy it.

There's "No fault" here in BC, and you should have uninsured drivers protection.
For number 15 I'm assuming he filed it under his policy since the other driver was uninsured. Make sure to report any modifications to your insurance company because if you don't disclose them they won't replace it.

The last story reminds me of one time I was driving home and got to the last roundabout on my journey only to encounter another car who had just run out of fuel, so I pulled over and took him to the nearest open petrol station to get a fuel can and fill it, before taking him back to his car.

I've done the same, I found a Harley rider out of fuel on the Hay Plains in western NSW - more than 50 kilometres from town. He'd forgotten that the strong tailwind he'd encountered on the way to Adelaide was now against him on the way back.

Rules vary by state, but most states have at least some rules to this effect.
Each state has different laws and just added tip for some that don't know that only works on highways not city streets
With such long waiting times for repairs, is it worth getting a Tesla?
Research how long it'd take your area's mechanic to fix a Tesla. Sometimes you can drive the car if cosmetic damage until the part is in the shop to take the car in.

not sure about US. but insurance is extremely expensive once you lost your no claim bonus in my area.
no they arent its just people found out 1 insurance is a scam as they try not to pay out anything even when you are 100% NOT at fault plus deductables being too damn high. Got a poor person with a car? your premium for full coverage can be as low as 200$ a month, sounds like steal, but then the deductable is between 1500 to 2500$ shit most people dont have lying around when they are expecting insurance to save them from an expensive bill if something bad happens. This is why less people are using insurance

It is in fact a SOHC 8 cylinder ie a type 35. But it is not a real Bugatti but a Pur Sang replica, built in Argentina in the 21 century, so brand new. There are in fact many more replicas than originals

The Las Vegas Clip at 4:45 was on the I-215 Freeway westbound here in Las Vegas. I was traveling west in the far left lane when I saw that accident happen. Amazing how the other driver getting off at the airport exit saw that at the same time and submitted the dash cam video.

Moral of the story is, if you don't have valid insurance, don't drive like an ass!
I've fallen on hard times a long time ago and had to skirt some car insurance but made sure to drive like a little old lady.
I hope the ass in this accident got some jail time for this.

The last story, I can't get over it. I learnt the easiest way to lift a motorcycle 40 years ago, why isn't it common knowledge?
For a motorcycle on its right side, as in the video, get hold of the handlebars and turn to full left lock. Squat down next to the handlebars, lock the front brake, lift with your legs until the front wheel contacts the ground. Now continue to lift rotating the motorcycle around the front axle until it is upright. A reasonably strong adult can lift most motorcycles with ease using this method.
Just reverse left and right instructions if the motorcycle is on its left side.
For the first one most insurance companies will NOT cover any modifications that are not reported to them. You need might need to purchase additional coverage. Make sure you report it or it might not be covered if its damaged in an accident.

One of the things I've learned here, other than Tesla has a really nice camera setup, there are no cheap repairs on a Tesla.

Not sure about Canada, but in the US, for most if not all insurance companies, you have to specifically opt in for rental coverage (usually max 30 days) and also declare aftermarket item value, if you want them to be covered in an accident.

My principal just got a used ‘23 Model Y and recently set up sentry mode! Though I’m not going to tell her to send you guys clips if anything interesting happens because a lot of people are like “why the heck would I do that” when I mention sending the clip to you guys.
#15 Andrew needs to insure aftermarket parts. Insurance covers the car as it comes off the assembly line. That's all on him.
The uninsured motorist does not matter in Ontario.
The Mazda hitting the Tesla was in Toronto.
Our insurance pays as we have no fault insurance in the province.
That lady is in for some legal trouble as insurance is mandatory.
Here is the possible penalty.
