See you should have tested all that before you paid for the car. My honest opinion would be to genuinely ask them if you could get your money back because a new engine? How much did you pay for the car
i paid a whole 300$ for it. really as a way to learn how to work on cars better. i was told the camshaft sensor was the code issue and i replaced that but it didnt fix the issue so my roomate suggested the crankshaft position sensor (which he then proceeded to break upon attempting to remove it cause it wouldnt come out and he gave it a try). its not a huge loss as the rest of the car is in fantastic condition and can probably be sold as a roller for 800$ with title. but i figure i can give it the ole try to get it running before i just say meh
If the batteries already drained and you just bought it that means something is continuously draining your battery
the battery holds power just fine its just been idle for a long time is why it was low on power
