I purchased a box of CCI Stingers when they first came out, don’t remember the year but they were first year production. I took them squirrel hunting to see if they would be any better than the .22LRs I had been using. I saw a squirrel in a tree, took a shot, he fell down and when I went over he was certainly dead and had a hole in the side of his head. Not too amazing, same results as my basic .22LRs. Then I turned him over - WOW - the side of his head was gone! That made a believer out of me.
Just picked up my Taurus TX22 today, went shopping for ammo at a local gun shop. Guess what was on sale! Picked up 200 rounds of " Stangers". Bought the gun based in part, on your review. Thank you for both!

Looking forward to finding a box of Stangers. Congrats on getting your face on the product!
His reaction to the STANGER vs chicken noodle soup. Lmho
Congrats, well earned! I taught my daughter to shoot with both a .22lr pistol and rifle. She loves seeing what the strangers can do to soda cans, clay targets etc!
1:52 Okay, now I really want to see Cabela’s release a variety pack of self-healing targets called “thangs”.
Enjoyed meeting you at the NWTF convention. Thanks for signing my CCI Stangers!
Watch for my ammunition called CCI little stinkers.
Larry DeBoer 😂
😂
CCI "Stanker"
Hey in a 25 cal !!!!! 😕
The 22 little stinker I take those are 22 shorts. Lol
I saw these once at SportsmansWarehouse. I didn't know if they were any good, when I searched them found out it was too late. None left and I haven't seen any since. Now I learn of the Federal Punch and they sure seem to be alike, taller shells and your StAnger has the heavier bullet. I'll be getting some when I find them again.
So are your royalties from this just more 22lr instead of cash.
After armageddon stangers will BE cash!
Stangers may become a new currency
@Joaly nocontroly definitely, just like the fantasies some live in regarding everyone supporting rape, cops hunting black men, Trump killing gay people in concentration camps, etc. Just like Steven Crowder says, if you're going to live in a fantasy, why not make it a happy one? lol
@Dave Alexander Why would anyone come back and save the ashes, after man has destroyed it. Any smart God, would just start over and not make humans!
So happy for and proud of you for all your accomplishments. I actually don't shoot .22 anymore, but I have always loved your channel and the great quality product you put out. Keep it up!! Got a little girl now, and I'll be stocking up on 22 again for her when she's older.
I hope I can get a pack, I'll cherish them lol
At least 100 times!
A couple of years ago someone shared a picture of a bunch of unopened 22 from the 60s, I thought it was really awesome to scroll through so after that I started throwing a few packs of 22 in the back of the cabinet. If there's ever a shortage I wont hesitate to use it but I hope I can hold onto it and maybe someone will find interest in going through that old ammo 50 years down the road.
Congrats my 2A brother! Honor comes to those with dedication and passion!
Campbell's Tomato soup would been so Hollywood.
Warhol was an NYC artist, not Hollywood.
I was thinking blood splatter, not NYC art. That’s Hollywood.
Maybe a chunky soup, next time? Progreso?
@@chrissewell1608 Or anything Chef-Boyardee
@@scarbourgeoisie Everybody loves the Chef!
Pretty dang cool that you have your own ammo! Just picked up a pack today, all the little details of the cartridge and the packaging are a great touch, great job Plinkster!
I had this playing on the background while cleaning my taurus. And heard the "16,000 ft per secon" i damn near ordered 100000 stanger sleeves
Jealous, Henry & CCI, best of both worlds and you got your own (literally) 👍🏼❤️😝🤠
Stangers are so good, that even when you miss the squirrel, it may still never reproduce.
😂🤣😄
Mr. Plinksteer, you are one of the really true gentleman, keep up the great work. Thank you.
When you show the cantaloupe in slow motion it look like one of those monsters opening his mouth and one of the horror movies,WTG
I finally got me my first gun this past weekend. Made in Canada, Savage Model 62 .22 LR. Loving the content of this channel.
Wow, those "stangers" hit hard! I wonder how they compare to the heavier Velocitors? Cool video and I'll be buying some just to display them. (And shoot them...lol)
But are the Stangers hollow points? That may explain a lot of the different reactions. Either way, I like it!
Both are HP.
I didn't look it up, but I imagine the Velocitors are slower when compared to stingers?
Congrats, Dave! Long time coming, and well-deserved. That Henry, too, made my jaw hit the floor before I started laughing. If you're ever out here in Pigeon Forge, I'd love to get some range time with ya!
The cci stinges are hollow point cci standars are solid, this was not an even comparison!!
What a difference in my hi standard derringer! So far most devastating for a 22 derringer. Love em
This looked like a comparison of Hollow Point vs Round Nose rather than a comparison of velocity.
I have been wanting 100 rounds of stangers for years. Congratulations plinkster!
Now Campbells will have to come out with Chicken Stanger soup.
How is that even a pun
Congrats 22plinkster on your own ammo. Love the video. Tell CCI to ship it to Australia.
I'm really really angry at a family of pop cans that live outside my house. Do you think these would work for them 😁😂
I purchased a box of CCI Stingers when they first came out, don’t remember the year but they were first year production.
Fill the hollow point with mouse turds and you got yourself a stanker
Just picked up my Taurus TX22 today, went shopping for ammo at a local gun shop. Guess what was on sale! Picked up 200 rounds of " Stangers". Bought the gun based in part, on your review. Thank you for both!
So I get substituting the "a" for the "i", but is the pronunciation of the hard "g" sound a Tennessean thing?
It's regional, but it's not limited to Tennessee. People in Brooklyn pronounce Long Island as "Long Guyland."
Congratulations man! You’ve always been/had a great channel, and I’m glad to see things taking off for someone like you! Keep up the great work!
*watches grapefruit*
Hydrostatic shock is in fact a thing.
Congratulations! Love to see more bullet impact videos! They never get old. Maybe a Stanger video series!
I think they are the best 22lr ammo hands down ... I’ve been shooting them for 40 years or so... thanks for your videos buddy...
U have sold me on stangers my friend . congats to u for having 2 of the best sponsors in the world . cci and henry . 2 of my favorite companies .
I have not tried the velocitors yet, so, until I do, the Stingers are my favorite 22 ammo and have been for about 30 years.
Well Dave, I too am a CCI STANGER exclusive shooter. Here in Canada I don’t get a lot of time to shoot in the city, BUT When I do go plinking it’s always .22 CCI Stangers too… Rooty toot tootin, that’s some really great shooting…
Congrats Plinkster! A well deserved milestone.
I own many different kinds of 22 ammo. My 22 Stingers from CCI are my most prized. The quality is unrivaled. My 50 round sleeves still have the K-mart stickers on em. So this reminds me to stock up on some more. Gonna try these Stangers next!
When I compete with 22s, I shoot CCI Mini-mags. But I always bring some CCI Stingers in case the gun starts acting up when it gets dirty. The added power of Stingers helps them cycle.
Congratulations on your new ammo. You've earned it Sir!
