As for the Delkevic exhaust itself, it is a great quality exhaust, installs easily, sounds fantastic, and looks great as well - Highly Recommended!!! - Авто/Мото
Delkevic exhausts are made in my home town in England
Great Video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I've got the delkevic 4 into one exhaust on my 81 gsx750
Right on! I bet it sounds great.
Sounds like a Hot Rod now ! :)
Did you have interference with the brake pedal? Delkovic told me the don’t have a setup for the 1100L due to that problem. My Delkovic hang down too far on my 1100L and was going to do trimming on pedal to bring it up
No, I had no interference problems with the brake pedal. Make sure your brake pedal is on the correct spline, the brake pedal is properly adjusted, and the fluid is fresh without air in the system (which will cause it to travel down further). Good luck with it! Cheers!
Hey Jon, do you notice any power increase? When I had my 81 CB900C, I did this too, I noticed the sound, but ? +/- with any power increase.
With the pipe and mild rejetting it seems to pull much better up top without a noticeable loss of midrange or low end. I didn't dyno it though. Regardless, I would do it just for the sound!
"EXHAUST VIDEO" If you're not going to hit redline once in 3 videos even on your exhaust vid there is no way I will ever watch any of your videos ever again. Thx for reviewing the bike!!
Great comment. I completely understand. If I want to rip it up I will take out a newer machine. I love the vintage machines too much to push them to their max limits, even if it makes for a boring video.
Hola Jon .si los llamas a tu cuñado seguramente no tendrá problemas en dar Gas a fondo!😅
Did you have to rejet the carbs? Sounds great!
This bike was running a bit lean at low to mid rpm in stock form. Therefore, I am running 1 size up on my air jets #175 (in the airbox opening of the carb) for mid range and 1 size up on my pilot #42.5 (idle jets) and 2 1/2 turns out on the air/fuel screws.
If your bike runs fine currently you shouldn't need to re-jet.
Anyone wanna help me pick out parts/find parts that would work with my 83 GS850GL? It was my grandfathers who has Parkinson’s, so I wanna fix it up and get it running again so he can see it run one last time.
It should have a removeable baffle
For regular, aggressive and full blown mega phone loud.
It does. But I like the sound with the baffle in. Cheers!
rev it ! :D :P
