I hope she will appear again in the future, with a much better story.
Yay I became so nostalgic, in vanilla wow going for scarlet monastery, getting to tirisfal glades by swimming to south shore and somehow struggle to get there. Beautiful times
Thanks to everyone involved in these videos. I love following up with the lore of Warcraft. Even if I stopped playing towards the end of BFA I'm still curious how it progresses and your channel plus others feed that need for me. Thank you!
I don't really like the "no you guys totally meant more to me than just ammunition for my cause". I get it... but I would've preferred Sylvanas acknowledging that she meant every word - at the time. But that she's come to regret it since. Thats a far better denoument, imo. It fits with the whole soul restoration, and how saving souls is changing her for the better. Its a recognition of her mistakes, and shows she's really working through her shit.
I hope they NEVER take Sylvanas out of the box that is The Maw. She deserves to stay there, along with storyline of the three expansions she singlehandedly ruined. Definitely one of the most poorly written characters ever created and she deserves to be completely forgotten in the lore post-WC3.
yeah why are you blaming a character which was genuinely good before danuser and his band of braindead monkeys blizzard calls writers got their paws on her lmao?
meh, calia being around continues to ruin Fosaken. And we all know Danuser wants his new pet to lead as she's the bestest ever and be the "pallid queen" or w.e nonsense title she has now :/ and the night elf quest was straight up insulting, the usual of shitting on night elves. Imagine actually having it that Sylvanus got Tyrande's owl to deliver a personal message to forsken loyalists, like wat? not even a message to Tyrande, nah the owl is now doing things for Sylvanus -_-
I think it'd be neat if a number of the Living People of Lordaeron are allowed to join the Forsaken. And maybe while we are at it, the Horde Extends an Invitation to the Surviving People of Alterac, just as they sided with the Horde in the 2nd War.
The Forsaken heritage armour questline was certainly more interesting than the Nightelf heritage one. I'd argue a much nicer and certainly more original set from it too.
There is little of Sylvanas to do with right now anyway. She finds Nathan's, sends his soul to the afterlife and once she is done mopping the maw she kinda can go back. Reformed, redeemed and somewhat forgiven. It may happen soon or much later. But it will happen again. To me her character would be best used as a form of ghostly figure that would roam the forests of eversong and helping the weary and lost elves out there. Protecting them from stray scourge or Amani remnants. Never truly interacting with anyone anymore. But still being there skulking around Windrunner Spire like some memory of the past. A force of nature that will raze to the ground any threat that may ever arrive to Quel'thalas.
it would be interesting to see the light factions on a cosmic scale, like naaru support for the crusade, for a foothold on azeroth as we haven't really seen them attempt to do anything drastic to obtain the world soul
I am excited for dragonn riding in all zones. I got help from people and i finally finished drsgon riding glyphs and finally learned how to enjoy it. Thank you bellular for all your videos that helped me through the years as well. Many of us are here for you and for the community that you dearly engage with. ❤
Why does the Crusade attack a walled city by water, with entry by land being much easier? (also taking into account that Fenris Island is very far from the city in lore) Why does Sylvanas send a farewell message to the psychopath who helped her in her evil plans when she is now a different person? (being the high elf version of her) idk I think that for something to be warcraft it has to make sense too. The Forsaken Heritage quests felt more like filler than quests that represented the history of the race. Plus they literally brought in the crusade to humiliate them more than to make them relevant again.
@@Michael-bn1oi Sylvanas says that she regret things in that dialogue. The loyalist player Is literally all what jailer influence represents, all what she did and what she hates now.
It does semm pretty old school and I am happy for this direction. I do like the forsaken but that wasstripped away since BFA. Hopefully this is the right direction
World of Warcraft: Rebirth ... ... This would be a great way to have an entire expansion that is about the old world of Eastern Kingdoms, and Kalimdor (including the Draenei and Belf starting zones, perhaps even a new starting section for both of them, if not all races. This is a great way to also advance several stories a bit like how Original WoW moved along the scourge, troll, Deathwing, dark iron dwarf, etc etc etc story lines. They could move the storylines of the Scarlet Crusade along, move the story of the Plaguelands, and Desolace along, maybe a resurgence of Diremaul and the Ogres that have since grown in power and regrouped, Silithus... ... I mean Silithus alone is a zone that is teeming with untold story potential between the sword and the Silithid that no doubt are still there...Several major groups in the old world could use their stories updated and moved along while also updating older zones and showing a lot of love for the OG zones, and to the old players... They could even roll out the revamped zones with each successive major patch enabling them to ( .1 .2 .3 patches) have more time to revamp these zones create new stories that the player base responds well to, and with the newly revamped zones have the quests in the area drop the catch up gear, or special currencies to use to upgrade gear... It'd be nice imo to just get back to adventuring and squashing major issues but not world/universe ending issues or big bads.
I've jokingly predicted the return of the Scarlet Crusade every expansion since at least legion lmao. Hope to finally see those guys again. I don't even know for sure why they facinate me so much, but they've been my favorite villains since I started playing on TBC!
The only race I refuse to play in WoW is the Forsaken (because they're gross), but it's neat to have them stabilizing their capital city. I just hope the Alliance can recapture Gilneas soon.
I won't play Forsaken because those rotting bastards deprived us of the coolest city in WoW. I hope we can kill a lot of Forsaken when we take back Gilneas, but I'm worried they're going to be all "peace and love" about it.
@@shongueesha7875 they're rotting corpses who use plague and poison to kill the living and force people into undeath as a means of propagating their "species"
Man, keeping the "Sylvanas was just doing everything to put her "adopted" people at the top of the horde & the rest" would have really been a much better story & motivation.
Why are these Heritage Quests not just the Main Story Narrative; these are the stories and taking the parts of the old world updated into the modern that we wanted.
Unpopular Opinion, I'm actually happy that Sylvanas is no longer leading them. Yes, she founded the Forsaken, but now the story can move on from her. Sylvanas is not the only one that suffered at the hands Arthas and forced to live a cursed existence. Go ahead, let the hate begin.
I actually think a lot of people will agree, myself included. She called the Forsaken nothing and then wanted to kill literally everything for the worst villain in the game's history, from the worst expansion. The fact she still has simps is just sad to me.
Your not wrong, but you are wrong. Yes sylvanas is the only one to suffer personally at his hands, but the forsaken were created by the plague of undeath created and spread by the cult of the damned and eventually arthas. so you are both correct and incorrect on that part. But i do agree with her gone the story of the FORSAKEN can expand. and her story can as well without it being * I must do evil and dark things to help my people* storyline sthey ran with her for so long
The solution to that cursed existence is simple. Just end their suffering, the alliance should purge the last remnants of horde filth from Lorderon permanently, and end their suffering to boot.
The older i've gotten, the less i empathize with the forsaken. Now its revolting to me that we're supposed to help them murder the living.. Theres a reason all those humans would be signing up to join the scarlets but we'll just ignore that i guess.
I've always liked the "evil" side of the Forsaken. That's one fun part of playing them. My problem with BfA was Sylvanas' botched story made the entire Horde go down that dark part, which alienated many Horde players who were not Sylvanas- fans or Alliance- haters. I like the Forsaken as "evil", but only if it's just the Forsaken, not the Horde. This is what I like about the heritage quest. They still use the ruthless tactics we all know and love them for, but they're doing it all on their own against the Scarlet Crusade nobody likes.
My man, we need content from Blizzard. idk if you have talked about this but the reason the game is dead is because no one wants to do mythic plus and raiding anymore. 20 years of the same crap is not fun. We need stuff like in game housing, true crafting like new world, community driven ideas implemented in events, and probably a graphics overhaul lol. Anyways, let me know what you think. Been watching you for years, thanks for the excellent reviews and content brother!
He does have a recent video talking about how so many people seem to feel really apathetic about WoW now. I kinda said the same thing as you in the comments. As a player that didn't care about raiding I ran out of any interesting or compelling reasons to keep playing once I finished the main quests and leveling.
Waiting for 11.0 to have even the foundations of casual and/or solo evergreen content that is not just zone events to grind gear again, hope they can deliver something decent this time.
@@needsanameedit4982 Absolutely man, I really hate talking negatively about this game bc I grew up with it and I love it but that is essentially why we need to bash it. @@funkysouth801 ah ok I need to check that out then, thanks for that. Yeah I agree, I wish there was something like a prestige system after you hit max level that allowed you to continuously go out and do stuff like professions and grinding mobs. The content simply isn't rewarding, it no longer holds most peoples attention. Why do we get gear? to raid and do mythic plus but then....as a reward we just get more gear? that makes no sense to me.
I dont understand the point of the scarlet crusade anymore. Shouldn't the reveal of Balnazzar and the other dreadlords controlling the scarlet crusade ruin its reputation? What is the new scarlet crusade's view on the Alliance?
bro im just saying cause this video is new and i just thought; what if in next exp we farm rep just like in dragonflight but for orgrimmar/forsaken/thunderbluff instead of new random people
This is something unfortunately not touched on at all in the heritage questline. Though, after thinking about it, I can see why they might have chosen not to mention anything. The race's reproduction would be a rather big lore development that shouldn't be limited to a heritage questline. I'd have to think Blizz plans to address this at SOME point.
lol to the cereal sponsor, wondered if it was for real for a second but you were so sincere in a super cringy way, I just lolled thru' the whole thing.
One video ago he was complaining how Dragonflight sucks in terms of warcraft story and then the next video is “Now this is Warcraft!” bro Bellular stop my dude lol
My biggest problem with warcraft universe is the population. I just imagine that every single town actually is like boralus in size at minimum, and that all the races breed 24/7. Also have the adulthood come faster than average human 18 years. Because otherwise I don't know how they continue having all the people die in thousands and continue to grow, build and develop. Like where did they got all the people for new cult. Old cult was wiped out bad few years ago in universe.

I choose to be loyal to Sylvanas, so it was great to see her giving us an explanation, for me what blizz did to her character was the worse thing on Shadowlands. I hope she will appear again in the future, with a much better story.
Exactly the reason why the game lore is dead. You feed people horse dung and they just request for more.
Yay I became so nostalgic, in vanilla wow going for scarlet monastery, getting to tirisfal glades by swimming to south shore and somehow struggle to get there. Beautiful times
Long live the scarlet crusade!
wish they would stop treating the faction like crap
@@davyjones1335 I wish they wouldn’t have given them German accents. Such a short sited thing to do
Thanks to everyone involved in these videos. I love following up with the lore of Warcraft. Even if I stopped playing towards the end of BFA I'm still curious how it progresses and your channel plus others feed that need for me.
Thank you!
Sylvanas? One of the most likeable characters? Are you sure we share the same timeline?
I don't really like the "no you guys totally meant more to me than just ammunition for my cause". I get it... but I would've preferred Sylvanas acknowledging that she meant every word - at the time. But that she's come to regret it since. Thats a far better denoument, imo.
It fits with the whole soul restoration, and how saving souls is changing her for the better. Its a recognition of her mistakes, and shows she's really working through her shit.
The last soul sylvanas gets out of the maw before coming back: Arthas. He has been used like she did and understands him now.
Whitemane is no loger part of Scarlet Crusade
Whitemane is a Death Knight
I hope they NEVER take Sylvanas out of the box that is The Maw. She deserves to stay there, along with storyline of the three expansions she singlehandedly ruined. Definitely one of the most poorly written characters ever created and she deserves to be completely forgotten in the lore post-WC3.
She was a great character up until bfa.
lol? SHE? Blame the writers. The writers butchered her. Your hate is in the wrong place.
yeah why are you blaming a character which was genuinely good before danuser and his band of braindead monkeys blizzard calls writers got their paws on her lmao?
i know you were just having a bit about the forsaken brain rot but it still hurts 🥺
Never have I ever expected a cereal commercial on this channel. But it's a funny surprise
I've been wearing the Scarlet Tabard this whole time waiting for them to be back.
meh, calia being around continues to ruin Fosaken. And we all know Danuser wants his new pet to lead as she's the bestest ever and be the "pallid queen" or w.e nonsense title she has now :/
and the night elf quest was straight up insulting, the usual of shitting on night elves.
More of this kind of stuff Blizz! This felt like proper World of Warcraft.
I like the"mopping" image , very funny this morning ;)
She will be hunted by literally every night elf in existence and every second worgen and probably every third Alliance member in general.
it would be interesting to see the light factions on a cosmic scale, like naaru support for the crusade, for a foothold on azeroth as we haven't really seen them attempt to do anything drastic to obtain the world soul
I am excited for dragonn riding in all zones. I got help from people and i finally finished drsgon riding glyphs and finally learned how to enjoy it. Thank you bellular for all your videos that helped me through the years as well. Many of us are here for you and for the community that you dearly engage with. ❤
Let the forsaken die they are a literal plague on this world give lorderan back to those still alive.
Would be kind of cool if the hord had Under City. Under the ground. And the Alliance has Lorderean. On the surface. Sharing the area.
She isn't a different person. She was and remains an undead high elf. They just removed the Jailer's influence. Pre-Jailer Sylvanas wasn't a Saint lol
Why just for once can't we just join the Scarlets and help them purge the undead, at this point they are far more sympathetic than the forsaken...
Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting the Cereal advert.
Scarlet Crusade did nothing wrong.
I hope the alliance recacapture Lordaeron and Gilneas
@@shongueesha7875 they're rotting corpses who use plague and poison to kill the living and force people into undeath as a means of propagating their "species"
@@ratatoskrnuts6354Lordaeron belongs to its people and those people are the forsaken. Not some foreigners even if they are human
Hilariously childish reason are you 10?
And now I need to do this story again on my warlock since he was my loyalist.
I love this. More of this Warcraft vibe
How sick would it be if during the timeskip the scarlet crusade took back tirisfal and the city and it became an endgame zone + city raid
But i do agree with her gone the story of the FORSAKEN can expand. and her story can as well without it being * I must do evil and dark things to help my people* storyline sthey ran with her for so long
Sylvanas lore is butchered beyond repair I say let the wc3 Sylvanas and arthas be all that we remember
The solution to that cursed existence is simple. Just end their suffering, the alliance should purge the last remnants of horde filth from Lorderon permanently, and end their suffering to boot.
@@zealgaming8161based and Light-pilled. I'll never forgive them for what they did to Gilneas and Teldrassil.
Would've been a good opportunity to drop in a big scarlet bad so the undead still feel a looming scarlet threat
I miss Slyvanas
The older i've gotten, the less i empathize with the forsaken. Now its revolting to me that we're supposed to help them murder the living.. Theres a reason all those humans would be signing up to join the scarlets but we'll just ignore that i guess.
we need more and more bellulars to enjoy our favorite universe
WoW doesn't deserve you. Just let fanboys ruin the game.
the Scarlet Crusaders are the good guys
Not gonna lie, i wish the scarlet crusade would have an uprising bigger then this.
I wrote an entire fanfiction where the Scarlets rejoin the Alliance and then start to take it over with Turalyon and start a 5th war.
Can’t wait for this “Panda” guy to say something about this video lol 😂. Good video Bellular as always
Was a good quest line.
Anyone else doing a cereal add the funniest thing they've seen so far? xD
Full support here.
We need to lean out of the cosmic force bs and go back to having mortal struggles make the scarlet crusade great again
Really enjoyed this quest and i love the heirloom its my 2nd fav after Mag'Orcs. By the way i love your content thanks for sharing it with us.
20 SECS IN I LIKE THE INTRO ALREADY GETS MY BLOOD STIRRING
Could care less about slyvanas
I was looking at the magic spoon cereal in passing at the store yesterday . Now that I know what it’s all about I’ll have to get some!
use his link for discount, affiliates keep track of how many codes are used and it can affect sponsorships going forward!
Sylvanas is the only leader that actualy fought back and than got punished for being cooler/smarter than the rest of them
My man, we need content from Blizzard. idk if you have talked about this but the reason the game is dead is because no one wants to do mythic plus and raiding anymore. 20 years of the same crap is not fun. We need stuff like in game housing, true crafting like new world, community driven ideas implemented in events, and probably a graphics overhaul lol. Anyways, let me know what you think. Been watching you for years, thanks for the excellent reviews and content brother!
Also retcon anything after legion please.
There needs to be something implemented to hold the backbone of the industry at bay. Next xpac needs to revolutionize the mmorpg world once again, wow is no longer flagship status like it used to be.
I wonder if all Scarlets in Northrend where killed and turned to death knights.
I dont understand the point of the scarlet crusade anymore. Shouldn't the reveal of Balnazzar and the other dreadlords controlling the scarlet crusade ruin its reputation? What is the new scarlet crusade's view on the Alliance?
bro im just saying cause this video is new and i just thought; what if in next exp we farm rep just like in dragonflight but for orgrimmar/forsaken/thunderbluff instead of new random people
Question with out Sylvanas, who raises new forsaken? Or are they going to die out over time?
This is something unfortunately not touched on at all in the heritage questline. Though, after thinking about it, I can see why they might have chosen not to mention anything. The race's reproduction would be a rather big lore development that shouldn't be limited to a heritage questline. I'd have to think Blizz plans to address this at SOME point.
@@heirtothevoid Thank you I just hope it's something in a book. Calia magically learns to raise the dead.
Any chance Night Elves can get something similar and not get demeaned the ten thousandth time in a row? This actually appeals.
Is this the forsaken heritage armor questline?
What am I looking at?
I've played from BC to Shadowlands.
Blizzard is giving more love and attention to The Horde than to The Alliance in Dragonflight
its crazy to me how classic wow and osrs hold bigger playerbases than the active developed game.
lol to the cereal sponsor, wondered if it was for real for a second but you were so sincere in a super cringy way, I just lolled thru' the whole thing.
One video ago he was complaining how Dragonflight sucks in terms of warcraft story and then the next video is “Now this is Warcraft!” bro Bellular stop my dude lol
To hell with the Forsaken, Long Live the Scarlet Crusade!
Just make us stand upright and we're gonna be fine.
I hope Blizzard can turn the Scarlet Crusade into a threat again.
My respect for Bellular after finding out he's into Aikido ¬
"But bellular is ruining the game, don't watch him" *insert eyeroll*
My biggest problem with warcraft universe is the population. I just imagine that every single town actually is like boralus in size at minimum, and that all the races breed 24/7. Also have the adulthood come faster than average human 18 years. Because otherwise I don't know how they continue having all the people die in thousands and continue to grow, build and develop.
Like where did they got all the people for new cult. Old cult was wiped out bad few years ago in universe.
sylvanus' story is entirely based on the jailer absolutely fucking up his infinitely complex plan by letting every single main character including the one that now has every reason to betray him live just after gaining ultimate power for? Why the fuck would an ultimate being like the jailer have a petty side when he was supposed to be an omega brain calculator
