OMG-OMG-OMG... - *I was there* - during my military service... ...I did not know that the concert was filmed...!!! OMG - how many memories are coming up inside me while I´m watching this video... I remember, I was standing in the 10th row and was playing "air drums" to the beats - and Steve Negus, the drummer (I was a great fan of him) *saw this* , looked directly into my eyes, smiled and suddenly - for the break of a moment - he played a kind of "special" drum beats (what was not part of the song!), between his "standard" drum beats... ...(he was sooo fast!!! - too fast for me) - and he laughed and gave me a wink...!!! What a funny guy!!! And I was sooo proud, that he had noticed me at all in the crowd... I was so happy - I have never forgotten this, *never* ... After the concert my jacket was completely sweaty and then smelt *so* terribly - the stink did not go away and finally I had to give the jacket into the garbage! So much time has passed since then... I'm lost for words...
saw this concert and was at the munchen concert where the live album was cut. ended up seeing them 5 times. thank you to my german friends for turning me on to this great canadian band.
Saw them on tour with Pat Benetar in 81 or 82. It was so memorable that I still remember this drum solo. I had no idea anything like that something like an electronic drum pad existed. Awesome!

When I was young we used this track for "testing" our selfmade speakers. I always wondered how many drums and hands this guy must have ! Ah, so the title refers to this Kraftwerk-like early e - drum set . All inclarities erased after 30 years !
Way back in the mid 80's at the (crazy) Hi-Fi shop: Get a Micro Seiki CD player, a rack of NAD amps and Cervin Vega speakers, pause in the middle, crank up 5 KW of power, press play and watch the bass membranes and sparks fly 7 ft. across the room!
i saw saga live in germany a couple of times from around 2005 to 2015, including "the human condition" with Rob Moratti. they were really good, every single time, no signs of mellowing down or lack of enthusiasm, quite the opposite. ferocious guitar work, insane drumming, flawless vocals (moratti was really good btw.), lots of headbanging and wild keyboard soli from jim gilmour, plus occasional smiles on everyone's faces. stages were a bit smaller than back in the 80s, though. ;-) in case you're not aware of the later stuff: "reel to reel" is a killer live song, as is "i'm ok", "corkentellis" insane instrumental, ... pretty impressive. :-)

Folks, I watched Saga in 1982 at Ostsee-Halle in Kiel, Germany. It was my first big concert and the briefcase was simply awesome. However, Michael Crichton was no longer wearing this ugly moustache.
Saga was an excellent musical super band like all the Canadians bands we have, they have won major respect as accomplished musicians .... Do you at least play an instrument ? Probably not so stfu ....

Damn, Saga and King Crimson were very cool persuasive bands to check out live. Especially at this time.
