Yo i got a question for you i got multiple id. units running to multiple od units samsung dvm vrf system ..so here is my question each unit has a thermastat but have 2 even 3 units piped to same port on mcu (branch box) and each thermastat is programmed to same port will that work or cuase commincation issues an eror E201 do i need to wire those units together with one thermastat? To control both or can you have them on separate tstats if its piped together at same port?
Good info Tad. I have 4 ton ducted system . Installed by somebody else . I have power to outdoor unit and communication to ducted unit inside with controller . I powered up unit outside but the board does not seem to get any power.
question. lest say you have a 5 port Samsung but you only use 3 ports, can you at a later date hook up a 4th line set for another indoor unit? would you need to add valves to the spare ports at initial install to facilitate this or does the unit shut off the ports that aren't being used?
Hi have a guestion. Have only 2 units on outdoor unit that can have 4 heads and indoor units are 22 feet each 15 000 btu both indoor units have 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch pipes. Is it ok using bottom 2 connections since they only fit to indoor flare? Thanks
Close the liquid line service valve Push the K button until you are in pump down mode read the service manua Close the suction line service valve after the low side gauge confirms a low side pressure of 0
I have this split system but seems like indoor units thermostat is very offset. Showing 68 while every other indoor thermometer shows 72-74. Any idea how to fix this?
It it normal for these units to have some oil in the lines and pressure when opening the port for the first time to make my flare connections? (I know the indoor units come charged with nitrogen)
sir my qualification is Total 6 port pipe canection but your ac 3 pipe xpention valve open .and close telme please ☺️🙏 canected aftar pipe canection pumdon yas o no
I have a 3 ton fjm, 2, 18k heads and a 7 head. Line sets were run years ago. The 7 head has a 1/2 od line and a 1/4. I have my longest run in head on bottom or port e, 2nd 18 head on port d and the 7k head is on port c. Went through auto addressing, let unit do its thing. Went inside and tried running 18k unit on port d and get an error code e465 and e464. Any advice or information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

👏RTFM! Read the f' manual!
I've got a 9000 on a 33' lineset, and a 12000 on a 25' linset. How should I connect these lines to a 2 ton Gree multi outside unit?
Are the 2 inside heads gree or Samsung
should be first two ports for the 9 and 2nd set of two ports for the 12
@@TaddyDigestOutside and both insides are Gree. Only info in manuals speaks about line sizes and torque.
line connections should be 3/8inch and 1/4 inch
