FYI Sam's son is canonically named Frodo Gamgee and the Gamgees do live in Bag End after Frodo leaves, which makes that 5 seconds of cutscene the most accurate part of the game

I’ve only ever played the DS version of this game. No its not any better since it was more of a button masher getting from point A to B, but at least it kept me busy during long car trips when I was a kid. Also got me into Lord of the Rings too. 😁

Yeah, I got to know the lore, history, and even what can be learned from Tolkien's world. The channel Men of the West is one good lore channel I found.

Honestly, I love lord of the rings so much that I can't be mad this game exists. It feels a bit cheap sure but it also looks kinda cool and whimsy like the old animations.

@@wod5203I played this one as a child, not knowing anything about Lotr, and while I could barely remember anything, I do know that I liked it. There was also a Coop Mode, (can't remember if it was Splitscreen or on one shared screen) that I played quite a few times with my best friend. It probably wasn't very good, even when ignoring the disregard it had for the lore, but it was playable and achieved what it set out to do - that being making an approachable Lotr Game for children - and Coop is always a plus.
Compared to that, Gollum is just a complete and utter failure. While Aragorn's Quest was specifically aimed at children, Gollum captured the interest of no one, except out of morbid curiosity. The bad controls, boring story, terrible graphics and forgettable characters then kill any chance it had as even a (very) nieche product. For me it's really no contest, Gollum is worse by far.

I guess it's fine for people who like it but it's a ridiculous route for what was once an awesome rpg. I don't think Bloodhunt was ever going to really be Vampire The Masquerade 2, but anyone who knew anything about the original should have known this was not the direction to leap in terms of gameplay and mechanics

As one of the few people who actually bought Bloodlines before Troika went bankrupt, I have zero interest in any of the new games. But they're not made for me clearly.
Bloodhunt is a nightmare scenario for the Camarilla and a total Sabbat wet dream level violation of the Masquerade, it's so bad it's laughable.
Wish if they went this far I am amazed they didn't add the Sabbat and even the Garou to also play. Would love to play as the Black Spiral Dancers
There have been *nine* VtM games since 2019. *Two* are visual novels made by indie studio Draw Distance. *Four* are interactive fiction games made by indie studio Choice of Games. One, _Heartless Lullaby,_ is a cRPG that was originally made for Vampire Jam 2021 *_by fans_* before getting an official release. Another is _Swansong,_ an RPG made by studio Big Bad Wolf. And then, of course, you have _Bloodhunt,_ a battle royale.
So out of those nine games, only one of them is a major departure from the design philosophy that the franchise has been traditionally associated with (because of the standard set by _Bloodlines)._ How does any of that indicate to you the "insane commercialization" of the franchise, let alone tell you that it's being "dogged into the ground"? Did you forget about the 15-year gap between 2004 and 2019 where there were no VtM games being made _at all_ because of the mess that was Bloodline's release?
Perhaps take a look at the second comment, and realize how ridiculous you look.

this was my childhood, when i was young, I didn't care about the graphics etc, it's just fun to play for a 11 year old kid

The nukashine bottle, the message on the monitor, walwigi on the billboard, cat in your lap, cyberpunk coat collar, the ESO head, the sign that says JERIMIAH 21:1, the picture frame but I can't quite make up what it is yet, the KEVDUIT AIRLINES a perfectly safe choice for flying... you might need life insurance though. So I found nine. I am not sure if the green billboard with the hand holding a banana is something important so I guess ten maybe, probably, yes, no I don't know. Now that I obsessed over that part I will finally watch the rest of the video
