Looks like a great device, although I doubt I'll ever cough up the money for one (I'm a Huion user for a reason... bank account doesn't have many digits). I like how extra pen tips can be stored in these newer Wacom pens, especially since this is supposed to be a portable device. Also thanks for consistently putting in a "bottom line" section at the start in every video.
Just got mine, I have the 32inch pro ! and I love this 13" movink because I can just work anywhere ! so light amaizing colors it has more pixel density than my 32" 4k cintiq, has great brightness in day time ! and the pen OMG amazing I used to remove the rubber grip part from me wacom pens just to have slimmer pen and more room see whats on the screen, you know wacom pens, but this pro pen 3 is it ! I highly recommend ! and I'm impressed that I am enjoyig this screen size ! also I'm working faster on the 13" because you can access everything on the screen in smaller area so more focus than the 32 and the 27". lastly get the protective sleeve please, its a thin monitor.
This tablet makes the Wacom One 13 Touch nonsensical when you compare the price... This is so much better for what they ask you. OLED screen, great design, better pen. Buy this instead of Wacom One 13 touch if you're choosing between the two.
pretty sure you could invert the panning settings from your mac's settings so it matches your gestures up/down and left/right. could be somewhere in the touchpad gesture settings
Hi Teoh! I wanna know why are you skip reviewing Redmi Pad Pro/Poco Pad (they're basically the same) even though it's well price, has a big screen and support stylus with pressure sensitivity?
i have personally heard/seen in other reviews that the xiaomi tablet/pens had very noticeable line wobble. A spaniard reviewer centered in drawing make an indepth review of two xiaomi tablets and said that you could drew on those if you turned the stabilizers all the way. maybe they havent adressed that problem and because of that they might skip to review the brand.
@3Dw1n95 oh really? That's sucked, so unfortunate, btw, can you direct me to those riview videos? Cuz I can't find any drawing/pen focus review video of the tablet, that'll be very helpful for me.
That's outrageous. I'm actually OK with companies including less in the box if it reduces the price and waste. But not when the price for those extras are so high.
are there not still issues with burn ins with oled monitors? when you work with for example medibang, all the menu is static. cant that cause to issues over longer times?
If this is meant for mobility including outdoor work it seems like the brightness should be higher than 350 nits. But maybe this was a design decision to reduce risk of burn in.
Hey teoh! Hi i wanted to ask if i should buy a budget samsung tablet like the S series or the new huion kamvas gen 3 , the gen 3 isnt available yet in india so its around 330+ dollars from international n if it is available in india should i get it or a budget samsung tablet like the budget ones thats under 300 dollar or something which will be better? And if I do go for the samsung s9 fe I might as well go for ipad 10th gen but the pen is so expensive :') but i also watched reviews they said samsung is better with their storage etc
Just buy a Galaxy Tab S9 ultra with oled screen and wacom one pen, and connect it via usb-c to your laptop with the superdisplay app. It's 120hz and super slick. Much higher resolution and you only have to use 1 cable. (or wifi!) It's what I use. (Professional animator here)
@CartoonMonkeyStudio if I had the budget id buy it 🤣 but I'm broke , but ig I'll try to save as much as I can but i don't wanna spend more than 400 dollars or as less as possible cuz I'm still not a professional yet 🤣 but I'll consider ur recommendation ty 😭
It depends if you are just drawing casually or is serious about being a professional artist and also depends on if you can generate income from your artwork - if you are serious and can generate income, get the most expensive one you can currently afford, then later when you have more income, upgrade as you go along. If you are seriously aiming for professionalism, but is not generating income, choose something that is less expensive, and then work hard to earn more money. If you are just drawing casually like I am, then choose something that is not murdering your wallet...😅 I started a with a Huion Insperoy 1060 Plus, later upgraded to XP Pen Artist Pro 15.6, as I had gotten a side job teaching digital drawing to kids. 👌
I think this wont suffer from burn in in the first 5 years due to its low brightness. for average use case. maybe for professionals full day every day use it will last for 2 years. my guess no more!
Deleted my comment?? It was about this not being a good value as opposed to the -Wacom enabled much higher resolution and refresh rate OLED Galaxy S9 /10 series of tablets- coupled with a Wacom ONE pen and the SuperDisplay app with a laptop? Come on man, It slays this poor Wacom offering completely for not a lot more money and you get the android tablet as well. I have enjoyed your videos for some time, but deleting that sort of information is really not doing your viewers a service, it only serves to make Wacom look better than they are. Really disingenuous, and disappointing. I'll have to do a video about this on my own channel soon. Sorry man, this product may be fine, but Wacom sells things for too much money compared to other options that contain the exact same or better tech!
Not sure why that comment went missing. I do remember clicking on your username to check out your YT channel because I thought your original comment was good. I don't remember deleting your comment. Weird. As for value of money, it's subjective. Since I receive review units to review, it is sometimes difficult to say whether it's worth the money because I did not spend any money. Having said that, USD 750 is indeed very expensive for a 13.3-inch pen display even if it has touchscreen. Personally for me, I would go with the XPPen Artist Pro 14 (gen 2) instead which provides more value simply because of the much lower price point. SuperDisplay app will have additional lag/latency so the user experience is not ideal. It's usable but not ideal.
I don't note any lag with super display at 120hz using a USBC cable and In use it for animation and illustration work. I will more closely test this though. Thanks for the response. I overreacted suspecting my comment was bad for business as it were. My apologies. Thanks for all your great and in depth reviews. (Your art is fantastic too.)
@@CartoonMonkeyStudio There will always be some form of lag/latency. It's just sometimes our mind automatically tune out the lag. The most lag-free tablets currently are the iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy tablets with S Pen. I will have to try SuperDisplay again because I haven't tried that for a long time.
Update: Side buttons are removable because you can install optional Straight or Flare grips sold by Wacom, for thicker grip or more grip.

About freaking time!
Damn I was waiting for a decent review for this one!
I'm surprised there are more things than expected to talk about.
Thanks for the review. Looks good aesthetically. Hopefully the company works out the bugs.

Buy this instead of Wacom One 13 touch if you're choosing between the two.
I hope they’ll release a 16" one. 13" is just to small for desktop software.
Can't wait for that, and the reveal for the price. lol
@ yeah will be at least 1k then 😅

Maybe, but other apps that have the correct pan direction may be affected.

The converter costs HOW MUCH?!
USD 79.95 (SGD 119)

There could be burn in issues. But it is not possible to test for that in short term.

It’s not meant to used outdoors. The portability use case is after using you can put in on the bookshelf

pleaaaase do a video on duet display using an android tablet as a wacom display !!
Good idea
@@teohontech7141 thanks there is no drawing test on this especially with mac/tab ultra :)
I bought mine last month and its amazing. The only problem I have is the screen is hard to clean. the smudges doesn't go away at all
Wipe with microfiber cleaning cloth in a circular motion
Would thete be a text review too
