I quit two weeks ago when my doc called to advise a biopsy on a gum sore is oral cancer. Within days of quitting I had post nasal drip and now feel like I have the flu. I have surgery scheduled to remove the cancer. Trust me, I would rather have flu symptoms, insomnia, anxiety attacks, heart palpitations, increased hunger, and non-stop cravings than what I am about to go through. I will lose several teeth, bone and have a neck dissection to remove lymph nodes which will require harvesting a skin graft from my arm or thigh to replace the gum they remove. I implore anyone watching this to quit now before you develop disease. You can do this and I will be back to tell you how through the grace of God, I survived cancer.

Hello, 3 months ago i posted a message immediately after being diagnosed with oral cancer. I stated i would be back to tell you how through the grace of God i am cancer free. Well here i am back to tell you i am in fact cancer free after a successful surgery and i give all the glory to God. Today is Christmas day. Thank you, Lord, for saving me.

I’m 2 weeks and 5 days in to quitting now and the past two days I have felt like complete shit and panic attacks happen. But no fever I really thought I had something really wrong with me but after I found out what quitters flu was I’ve calmed down a bit I’m happy I’m cleaning out like this I’m 19, anyone reading this you can do it just have to commit and know you want to be healthy.

After nine months, I still felt as if I'd lost my best friend, while at the same time realizing smoking was my worst enemy. I also had such an empty feeling in my midsection. What the heck? Anyone else have that feeling?

@@llameshorts9645 Sorry to say I started smoking again, and the emptiness went away with my first couple of cigarettes. I'm not sure the emptiness would ever have gone away, and now I'm half scared to quit again, which makes me not want to quit. It's terrible!

Keep going, I quit 4 months now and you will crave still and temptation is there when around people that smoke but fight that temptation and do something to take your mind off it. Its only moments though keep going with it you will be fine. The first few days of quitting are the hardest.

I quit smoking 5 weeks ago due to a health scare I honestly thought I was having a heart attack the day I quit, my heart was racing, sweat was dripping off me plus I had the runs too, so I decided there and then to quit smoking. The following day I was fine. Now 5 weeks on I'm in bed with quitters flu, aches and pains, runny nose but no fever. It's been on and off for a few weeks. After watching your video makes sense to why I feel like absolute poo.

I quit smoking 30 days ago after smoking for 15 years 20-35 yrs old. I've been experiencing being bloated, sore throat, itching and tingling at night, coughing, nausea, sneezing every 10-15 mins and terrible vivid dreams... When will this horror end? I've never been through this before.
