That was the gift that just keeps on giving and giving. It would be un-nerving to find something you hoped was just a small sore was actually a giant combination of problems. I expect she felt so much better after the trim.
I'm becoming a bit a professional theory hoof trimmer myself now. I know all the terminology and medical names. I can tell a bad hoof from the off now.

I'm from the Jersey Shore (NOTHING like the show) where farms are basically extinct. But my family in PA own a dairy farm out in Amish country. I'm not exactly familiar with cows, but I've been around them.... not much, enough to pet them & think they're sweet. But after watching this channel for about a year, I have a new appreciation for cows & the care needed to care for them. And I'm addicted to this channel. It started as a welcomed distraction during the pandemic & election season last year, but has evolved into an addiction. Some videos, I've watched multiple times. LoL. I find the process fascinating. And I enjoyed your other channel, GPs Everything.... All 5 videos (you should definitely add more, just saying...) I love your channel!! 👋🐮❤️🐄🐂💙

I have absolutely no history of farming or cows, except seeing them in fields but somehow I've become addicted to your videos and I have no idea why or why I even watched the first one!?
"If dirt got into your shoe how would that feel?" Oh it would suck. I had sand in my boots for a minute on my last deployment and was unable to change out. So when I finally took my boots and socks off it was nasty. My feet were raw, and the sand bloody. Not a pretty picture. I feel for this cow right now.

I've been watching for a while now from the US in the dairy state of Wisconsin. I really enjoy your shows as I love the cows too. Milking them makes them feel better too. I just noticed on this video the name brand of your crusher and it was made about 1 mile away from where I used to live. I'm so chuffed.
