Been Watching for over a year. My wife has overheard the videos. She and I purchased 11 acres (USA) and plan to get a few cows. She has been paying attention to what is said about things in cow's hooves. She has been picking up every rock she finds in what is to become the pasture for the cows.
Am 70yrs old and just love seeing your videos, and all the hard work you and your brother in laws do for all the poorly cows thank you and keep up the good work x
I know that these are very large animals, but when every I see one in pain, all I can think is "Poor little baby." Thank you for taking such good care of them. I love cows. I live across from a dairy farm. I love visiting all my buddies!
Poor baby, Watching these cows walk in pain just hurts my soul. Because I know how it feels to have one of my feet hurting. Thank goodness for people like you guys doing such a well job, to get them out of pain. 💙💙💙
Wow. This music was sooooo much nicer than what you have used before. Soft, with no singing. Graeme, you have picked a nice option, one that does not overpower. 👍❤️
I've always loved dairy cows, but why is it fascinating to watch a cows hoof being cut away. You are doing a great job helping these cows. Cheers from Oz, Billo
It's always surprising that for such large animals, their hooves are so delicate and easily infected. I'm so glad there are people out there like this that help these poor animals.
I would say they don’t get really easily infected, it just seems like it since that’s what this channel focuses on showing. They take care of so many normal cow hooves that you don’t see :)
We are all big hoof gp fans.we love the kindness and skill shown towards these often overlooked gentle animals our 10year old daughter loves it when the cows are helped and made better.she also loved Kirsty the cow we got her as a gift. Thanks all from Cornwall
Another cow happy that The Hoof GP came to see her. Poor girl looked like she was ready to be milked too as she was leaking milk while you were working your magic. Thank you for sharing your videos. ♥️♥️♥️
i love hearing how much all of you care for the well-being of the cows! i groom dogs for a living and the number one priority is making sure dogs feel (and look) their best. it breaks my heart seeing any animal in pain and i’m glad we can help some of them ❤
Your care and concern is what makes your videos so meaningful and special. And of course your expertise. You are a master. This little lady is so much better because of all you have done for her. I love seeing you take care of these cows. Thank you for sharing with us.
I had a similar issue this morning.. ingrown toenail had become infected and very sore.. Because of this channel I knew exactly what was going on and was able to relieve the pressure and feel immeasurably better.
I've watched other hoof trimming videos. The difference that impresses me is the care and concern for the cows and how delicate and deliberate you are with your knife work. And you're a bit of a cutie pie 😊😊😊😊😊
I ❤ love watching you take care of these beautiful cows , you are so compassionate, loving, so sweet to them , I wish that I could hug you , so cute to hear them moooo in the background
YOU ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST HOOF DOCTOR'S! YOU DO NOT JUST DIAGNOSE COW PROBLEMS, AND FIX THEM, YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR WELL BEING WHICH IS EVIDENT IN EACH OF YOUR VIDEOS!! KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!
It's been a while since I've watched one of your videos, and this one hits a little home to me at the moment, so it was really satisfying to watch the cow's level of comfort improve so quickly! You never think about just how many steps you take in a day until it becomes painful. Over a week ago, I injured the tendons in both of my ankles. One took more damage than the other, but that quickly changed since the other foot had to work harder because of it. Due to this, I can't help but appreciate your work on a whole other level! I especially appreciate the fact that you emphasized the importance of also getting her back to her hospital pen as quickly as possible so she could rest and get off her feet. We don't often think about the importance of elevating injured feet to help reduce the pain and inflammation. Thanks for all you do! ❤
I agree Cam,yes there is 100s of video of trimming. I have watched a few others trimming and most importantly your pation for the cow's, bull's health and healing of there hoves, wellness being in the shoot is a connection myself I'm sure as well others see this from you 👍
I really enjoy watching your videos can hardly wait for a new one to come out. I tried watching other hoof trimmers they don't seem into it they do good work its just you seem to care more about it. 😊
May God bless you for your hard work, your care and compassion for the cows you've treated. The videos never cease to amaze. I know your care has helped a kazillion cows heal. Even to help them live longer. I admire you.
I just found your channel super random cus a video popped up. So glad I watched! I’ve been binge watching your videos and so impressed. You are amazing and treat these beautiful creatures with such kindness, care and love. You change their lives. 🐄 much love from upstate New York 🫶🩵🐮
I love seeing how the cows come out of the crush when you’ve seen them and they’re in so much less pain. You can see it sort of go through their head as they start to walk - “Oh, hang on a minute, I can actually put this foot down better now that a second ago, and it doesn’t hurt as much! Wtf?! That man is a wizard!” I just think you can see exactly what is going through an animals head when something changes for the better. Xxx
Do you know what’s incredible Graeme? You still bring so much education and interest to every video you do. Thanks so much for your awesome work and of course your humour!
Funny. Been out of RUclips mode for awhile. Came back on. Looked for your videos. Missed them. Your calm soothing voice. Your comrade. Your caring for these animals. You’re the first channel I subscribed to. Over year ago. Glad I did. Nice to watch someone who cares about what they’re doing! 👍😁
Graeme I was fortunate enough to find your posts months ago and have followed you since then. Just a quick thank you for your posts and explaining what you are doing and why. 🇬🇧
You do nice work, give out good information and some good humor, too. I think that's why you have so many more subscribers than other hoof trimmers. When I had my cows, 40 years ago, I didn't have trimmers I could trust with the hoof problems you fix every day. When I first saw this channel, I thought you were a vet. I did have a great vet, but your dairymen save on vet calls that I had to make. Although lameness wasn't a common problem for me. My cows were pastured as much as possible. And I got more milk when the cows got some pasture, even in winter. A lame cow lays down and doesn't walk often enough for food or water. Milk goes down. Lameness is a big deal. More of you should give a thumbs up. He works hard and still makes a video for us, too. When I see the greenish-brown spots on his face, it reminds me of my cows. He spends his working day looking at the business end of a cow. I think that deserves a like. Old dairyman from Oregon
Oh, we love him for sure. Read the comments! He'll get 50k views in the first hour his video is up and the comments usually include " I have nothing to do with cows but...." 😊
Love that you said: "Not much, guaranteed" and then proceed to slice of huge chunks, because there was a big chunk detatched. Love this down to earth approach to the videos. I am a city girl, doing a pc job, but this is calming.
Wow 😲 I literally shivered myself when I just saw how bad her foot was, so I have no question that she was to the point where I would be 😭 crying huge pain tears. Thankfully you took care of that, Graeme. I really hope that they got her to the milking stanchion soon because she was to the point of dripping milk 🥛 from her udder right behind your ear. 😅
Graeme, I really want to commend the work you do. A++ in my book. I'm from the US, New Jersey to be exact. I love watching your videos because I am an animal lover too AND, because after a day of HVAC & getting wound up by my customers, nothing is more relaxing than to watch these cows and bulls walk into the crush in pain and walk out with every attempt made to alleviate that pain👍👍. Also, hoof trimming may as well be called a bedtime lullaby in my home, because the relaxing qualities of a satisfying trim rock me right to sleep. Keep up the great work and a big shoutout to Craigie boy and the entire GP family!
i watch your channel with my almost 3 year old. He requests to watch "the happy cow show" because you fix up the cows and bulls and make them happy again!
You do a fantastic job and it shows how much you care and take pride in your work! Im a city girl I find your channel relaxing ,fascinating and relaxing. I love how you explain everything.
She looks resigned while in the crush. Maybe she thinks the pain won't go away. Bet she feels a lot better walking out. These girls are so lucky to have you to make them more comfortable. (I may be giving them my feelings and they aren't thinking at all) but thanks for your care and cure from me if not from your girls.
Another day, another pain free cow and yet another year since Graeme randomly showed on my youtube thread, changing my life for the better.
