Growing up at a very little farm, only nine to max 12 cows, some pigs, chicken, ducks, sheep, just enough to feed a family of nine. I recognized, my father looked so kind after the well being of all animals, including hoof trimming. Didn’t matter we would slaughter them. They had a real happy life, before got eaten. We have to trete them absolutely good, until they are going the last mile. Most people don’t understand, where meat comes from. And we have to use every thing, we are able to eat or use( leather) to honor all these animals. Bless them.
Absolutely! Even a meat cow deserves humane treatment. Good food clean water and room to do what makes a cow happy. Then...they have one very bad day. Dairy cows are mostly sweet and affectionate.
There is something about watching your videos that makes a topsy turvy world seem normal. I'm so happy that you are inspiring others to care for their critters.
I want to thank you. You have been such an inspiration to me. You have come so far and always have words of wisdom that really hit home with me. Y'all make me smile with every video. All of you are so caring and wonderful. I hope all of you have an amazing day! Thank you for all you do for these beautiful animals but also all you do for your herd, that I'm overjoyed to be a part of! 💜
My heart sank when i saw that piece of bone fall out of the cows hoof on that last job. That poor young heffer- thank God for you doing all you can to ease her pain and get her on the road to recovery.
“How many were there after you stopped counting?” 🤣🤣🤣 I hope you guys feel better really soon - and also that Craig stays well❣️ Well done for getting that job done even though you were feeling rotten. 👏👏👏👍
Thank you for your RUclips videos. I was a ‘cow shed’ baby. Fast forward to now. I am a 70yo renting a house on a dairy farm. When I was 3 my father went back to his roots, Managing large beef and sheep farm manager. Again thank you for sharing your passion.
I am 61 years old and FINALLY realized you put you initials in the company name. Well done Graeme! A GP in the states is a general practitioner, a medical doctor.
You couldn’t pay me to live in a big city, been there done that! God bless you and yours, my ancestors came from Scotland and Ireland, it looks so beautiful there. WFS!!!!
There’s nothing like country living. I’m on 41 acres in NW Montana, with a river 5 minutes away and surrounded with tree covered mountains. I’ll take your little guys fishing any time. I love it. I think we could find a bit bigger fish for them.
I'm three miles from the city centre but have a pocket of about 10 acres of woods with deer and turkeys behind my house. Convenience of city and major airport plus the peacefulness of country life - Scotland is on my bucket list for 2025. And COFFEE is my heaven but I make mine with a pour over. Instant only when I travel.
I live in Montana, too. I miss living in the country. The one thing I don't miss is having to drive an hour+ for appointments or shopping once a month in winter. Going over passes stinks during winter time. Lol I honestly don't know how somebody can live on the Eastern side of MT. Too flat and it would drive me crazy. I netrto be surrounded by trees and mountains. I do really miss having no neighbors and the quietness of the country. And no traffic except the usual tractor and cows. Lol
I work all day and on my ride home I’m looking forward to watching you and the guys doing your job. Love the view where you live. I love my peace and quiet too. Keep doing what you do, it’s appreciated ❤
I’m 79 and found your channel. Started watching out of curiosity and realized How much I enjoyed your talking about Scotland watching the picture the tithing that impressed me the most was you selection of music. Who is the person that does music selection they should also be given credit. Helps pull your program together. Very happy to have found you guys🥰
Mercy, hope you all get to feeling better soon.😮 Love this longer videos, they so reminf me of when you first started out on your adventures. You've come a long way hun, so proud of you and Kreggy boy. Take Care 🙏🕊🫰💜💜
I love that you boys don't get upset when the cows relieve themselves right in your face..there are ppl out there that would. Know what you mean about living in the country, I really miss it. Feel better soon
I stumbled across the Hoof GP on Facebook, and it intrigued me. Now I am hooked, and I enjoy watching the work and the fun that they all have, as they😁 love what they do.
I love to see you interacting with the cows! The only thing that wonderful cow shed needs is flex stalls…what a wonderful facility you showcased. If the farmers will allow, show some more for us. I love seeing how well farmers take care of their animals.
I honestly think this is the best video you’ve made. So interesting. Seeing where you live, watching the front hoof trim, those cute little blue hooves, seeing how you track the hoof cracks, watching the cow pee on you 😂, seeing how the cows live, seeing how they milk and clean their teets 😮, learning about the UK, not understanding a word said even though it was in English and then seeing that final trim where half the hoof fell away. ❤❤❤
AWESOME VIDEO, I think this is the first time you've shown the top side of a cow's hoof being worked on and I've been watching you faithfully for a few years. thanks!!!
Scotland is soooo beautiful and the sunrise is amazing. The fields are luscious green. I would love living in the countryside peacefully. ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤❤❤
Watching your videos is so relaxing, thank you. It helps my anxiety and depression so much. You are all a favourite of my daughter. We watch them together. Which also helps her anxiety. So thank you 😊
I wish I could move to your area of Scotland! It truly is beautiful but youre right, it's quiet and serene! Sure could use a place like that! Always appreciate it (don't believe for one minute that you don't)!🤗
I really miss the beautiful background music that put in from when you leave home, all the boys to the scheduled farm that all of you start your morning from. The music you had on set the mood to beautiful farms you boys go to working hard servicing the cows to keep them happy and healthy on their hoofs. Miss the music a lot!!! Aloha guys!!!!
You have no idea how precious a quiet home is. I live on a farm. But a major road isn’t far- & it’s coastal- so all the noise from the next road as well gets transmitted over the water. Between the motorcycles, trucks & massive jets on their way to Europe I cannot even hear the peep frogs & crickets!! Savor your peace!!!
I love living in the country where no one is around . Peace is a must . Morning coffee on my porch everyday. I know the feeling of it . I have land and property and my home is in the middle of the property. Loving every minute of it . Best thing in life is family and peace
I’m a coffaholic…get up to a cup, go to bed with a cup…62 and been drinking since I was 5-6 yrs old. I would still my moms and take it outside and drink it lol I love cows, worked on a dairy farm in my younger days. Best part of the day was feeding the baby’s…cows are gentle, well for the most part. Bulls on the other hand hmmm let’s say I’ve been chased around the round bale a few times…I do enjoy your channel…
I am now iliving in a smak rural town, after 3 years in a big city. Oh, the blessed quiet here, without the background growl of the city noise! Such a relief!
Ok I was don’t settling in with the story telling Graeme. But it was instant cat shorts. 😂. But I’m loving to quiet peaceful bird song of Sw Scotland. This was a fantastic video today. ❤❤❤ spot on!
Thank you. Another great vid, so heartfelt but professional especially the way you all bounce off each other. When you finally finish your book I’ll be the first person in the queue to buy it. 🐄 ❤
I understand how country life is wouldn't have it any other way in Northern Canada...after working hard all day ..peace and quiet and family is what its all about, Cheers to ya.
I can relate wished I'd lived on a farm. Most of my memories as a child being on a farm for 2 weeks was my all time favourite love the work you lot do well dun. And your all funny n mad keep it up
Graeme I cannot believe you said you hate fishing. I’m a 66 yo grandma and I love fishing. Using worms as bait. Or if in the ocean I used octopus or lures. And the most important part Is I must have my cooler full of ice cold coors light beer. That’s how you go fishing my friend😂
Sitting here with an ear infection and waiting to see if I’ve got COVID or not. This video is a welcome distraction. I used get bad ear infections as a kid and I forgot how much they _hurt._ Watching Graeme get pissed on made me laugh though.
Instant coffee is undrinkable, powdered orange juice is undrinkable. Fresh ground (and preferably fresh roasted) and fresh squeeze o.j. is/are the only way to go. It makes for a VERY civilized morning!
I’ve been to Amsterdam twice and when he said they pay for that in Amsterdam I just cried…because I always say the Dutch are freaks lol. I could stop laughing 😂😂 utterly brilliant

Im not sure there will be much of a recovery for this hoof. You can hear the shift in his voice and see his facial expression drastically change.
"You pay for that in Amsterdam" I burst out laughing, quick wit Graeme😂😂😂
Me too 😂😂😂
Took me a second to catch on. Funny.
Sorry, but I don't understand. 🇨🇦

100% correct - I liked the double meaning

Same in the UK. I didn't know it was the same in the States, though.

It's a beautiful day where you are in Scotland. I agree - you can be very lonely in a big city, and perfectly at home in the "wilderness".
Beautiful country you live in Graeme. Thanks for another great video.
You’d pay for that in Amsterdam , best line I’ve heard in awhile 😂
I agree!!
What does that mean? ☺️
