I actually might get the regular one since i have an idea to integrate the voice changes and stuff for my stream but im still a small streamer with around 8-12 viewers ans have many months before i earn enough to buy one.
Nice video! I have the GoXLR full size unit and it’s been a god send in managing audio in my dual PC setup, the mini looks great too! I noticed you’re using the optical output for your 2nd PC? I do the same and it’s great because when you’re using multiple analogue inputs you can easily run into ground-loop noise problems and require isolators to remedy the noise, optical avoids this issue Something I noticed about the optical output from my PC though is that the signal is much “hotter” than the USB connection and will actually overload the DSP inside GoXLR if you turn up the “console” input too much and you will hear distortion. The solution to this is turning down the optical output in Windows from 100 to (for me 67). I figured out that 67 makes the volume level match the USB output at 100 by using any free volume monitoring application with a visual indicator (like OBS or Audacity) Hope this helps you if your optical output is too loud as well :)
That's really dependent on your setup. I have an xlr cable for my mic, digital audio output for my gaming PC, and 2 3.5mm audio cables for mic feedback to my gaming PC
@@TheTerk if i could use my phone as a soundboard i already have a voice changer so itll be like i have the regualr goxlr. that would be the deal breaker lol thanks for your help
thank you so much this is the vid I was looking for
Im super excited to get one!!

@@Cam-uf9ke look at @crazycat's comment above. sure, having the big one will make it easier, but there are ways to get that functionality
Thank you for doing a great quality review. I am subscriber 336.
I’m subscriber 600!
thanks! much appreciated
Got a good deal on Amazon for 160$
Helpful video, Thanks!
I wish it had an extra port for an aux
What’s a good budget mic to use with this? I have the mixer but only use my old blue snowball usb mic with my pc currently so can’t control the volume
I'm a fan of the Samson Q2U and I actually use a Shure SM58 which you might be able to pick up used for $50.
Did you plug the optical line into the spdif on mobo?
Yes I did.
My friend if i use usb mic for example hyperx quadcast will i still be able to controll it ?
Makes a how to video but just shows GOXLR appearing with all cables in on the desk next vid!
It is so expensive idk if i can buy it
Should I get it though
If you want to simplify your audio and can afford it, sure. If you want to tinker, you can probably get by without it

And where did you get the other cable fro the plugin ?
Which cable? Time code?
Question: can I hook up external speakers to a fader on the goxlr mini??
Assuming you have a line in signal and you mux the speaker input to the line out 3.5mm signal, that'll work
where do i go to download the software ?
Can you give us a list of the cables we need to purchase?

if I connect it to a wireless headset like arctis pro, will I lose the quality (line-in AUX)?
Through a USB to 3.5mm adapter? Possibly,. Still waiting on Corsair to send me a pair
Can I use a USB Mic for the xlr mini?
if it has a 3.5mm jack, yes. if not, you'll have to use other creative ways to get it to the interface
4:17 how do you get it into that mode?
you might have to tinker with it a bit, but go to the goxlr app, and enable the "Vaporwave" profile. Adjust the effects as desired. cheers!
How many twitch subs do you have?
a decent amount, I'm in it really to show you guys cool tech, hardware reviews, and help y'all with whatever needs you have!
Can I hookup a phone and play soundboards from my phone to everyone in game
Probably. Run your phone as line in and mux it into your chat mic device
@@TheTerk thanks for the reply! how do i mix it into chat mic device?
