This video was very helpful. It’s a long story about my bike but this helped from a numbers aspect. Symptoms were, of course the c28 code but My bike fell on its face at 10k at WOT if you let off power came back. Spent a lot of $ for nothing. runs better but I think my numbers are still out of line. Way better but still hesitant in the higher gears @higher rpms. C28 code still popping and butterflies still not opening on their own. Still making adjustments
If you want, I still have the paperwork, I can get the exact numbers for you. You can have the STVA tuned out with a custom flash, but you'll give up some low end and need to be smoother on the throttle
#Tank Slapper Thanks for helping me "I think", to find my problem! My Fi was showing C29. The problem is that after starting the engine no matter what the temprature is , the revs don't fall back to 1300rpm they keep to 2k, the STVA doesn't close the valves after the engine is warmed up. I've checked that wasn't the engine idle adjuster or the throttle cable play. After I read the manual, I got threw all the steps of it but couldn't find the problem. I measured again and again, spend 3 days trying to fing what was wrong. So I gave up starting to believe that the problem is the ECU, but I haven't got any other issues. I started to look on youtube to find an answer and nobody had the same problem as I do. Finally as I was looking to your video, I see that when you 're checking the STPS to adjust it, the Ohms are increasing and decreasing normally with no blanks. I check again and when I measure mine it reads 0.55 kΩ closed and 4.7 open, but somewhere in the middle it looses track not showing anything or showing extreme big numbers like 12 to 70 kΩ. So can you please verify that when you ´re measuring you are moving the valves gradually, the kΩ are doing the same? I thing my problem is the sensor but only in the middle positions of the valves. Hope you answer, releaving me from the STPS -STVA-TPS ghosts that hunt me down!

Yo when reinstalling and testing mine it's reading backwards, I have a low value when open the high when closed. Any help would be great I know this is an older video so.

@@danklabz4204would love the info if possible on how you fixed yours the stva is new but I think I put it on at the wrong throttle plate position or something with the tps position is not positioned right cause even that little dash line before the c29 code like this (-c29) fluctuates from that to ( _c29) when I move the throttle in a blipping movement but weird thing is I never unscrewed the tps sensor only the stva to get the old one off to put the new one on so something tells me the tps position is throwing off the stva signal and causing it to over rotate making that clicking noise HELP! Thanks in advance
I have an 07 600 and from 4k RPMs to 7k it falls flat on its face. replaced fuel pump, filters, cleaned and tested all injectors, replaced air filter, took off secondary butterfly's, replaced all of the charging system, but can't figure out what the problem is. no fi code either. any idea on what it could be?
So I’m working on 07 750 and when I power on the valve barely opens then closes then flutters... what is my problem? Throws c29 and fuel pump will not prime..

Check fuses relays fuel pump tip over kick stand sensors everything looks good was this the same problem u was having ? Lmk please I need help lol 😂 thanks 🙏
No, with this the bike will run, but will idle weirdly. in my case it was idleing at about 4K to 5K RPM. I'd check the clutch switch or kill switch first. If those check out than I'd check the ignition. Possibly wiggle the ECU in the harness, I had that issue with a 04 600 that a pin had a bad connection and wouldn't fire a cylinder
I think mine is messing up. Sometimes my bike won't go past 8k rpm and other times it will. Usually if I turn the bike off and back on when it starts to act up I'll be able to go past 8k. It's an intermittent issue. I noticed the last couple of months it's been chattering alot and for long periods of time before I turn the bike on. No FI codes either. I have an 06 750 so maybe someone can give me an opinion. I just about bet money it's the STVA but I'm insure.

Thanks very much bro ...I just installed a good stva and the butterfly is making noise but are not opening or closing I'm thinking I installed the stva did I damage the stva cause it's making the sound but not moving the secondary throttle
I opened the stva and the Lil black gear pieace came or I'm think I put it back on the wrong way do you know the position of the Lil black triangle piece should be or it doesn't matter

I can try. I don't own the bike anymore, a friend does. But the TPS should give a constant increase or decrease when turned

Bet you have the fuel pump and other sensor plugged Into the wrong connectors

Learning focal range of a lens would help you greatly. Cant just shove an object right in the lens and expect it to focus lol
Great video! What were your symptoms before doing this? Mine seems to bog when i rev it at low rpm but picks up in the rev range if I go slowly.
My butterflies got stock at about 75% open. Ran fine until it needed to idle, where it would race. it than threw the code for the STVA

stva-repair_thegeek on Ebay. If it's a K6/K7 he'll want you to verify its the STVA that's faulty
When I try to put my stps on it reads backwards when I open the butterflies the voltage goes down
